Seychelles Comedy - State House Anytime Now

Patrick X is in da house!

With the year end of ‘Koste’ well behind us, JenPa had a bit of breathing space to take in the pulse in cyberspace. He has to wrack his brain to deliver yet another State of the Nation speech for the President but the STAR blog (www.starseychelles.blogspot.com) is doing a lot of damage out there. So his mission is to try and counter this barrage of free speech that is threatening to bring down the short lived Michel legacy. Hmm... Let’s create a character that will throw them off the track. He has always hated the Pillay era at MOFA so his ‘exile’ to the UK can be a great springboard for Patrick X...
JenPa: Good morning Sir! There has been a lot of water under the bridge during the past year. 2009 will go down as a milestone year in this Presidency. We broke several records that painted a glorious picture of your achievements – several awards that has Ton Albert fuming as he could not even get one during his long 27 year reign. We have already surpassed the Platinum status of the Emirates frequent flyer program with the most miles and countries visited. We even made an effort to lend some support to David by flying Air Seychelles on our way to Cuba.
Mr. President: Indeed JP, I will soon do a trip to the Falklands and bring Onezime along so that he can do a report for SBC. I am a man of action and my people need to see me every night in their living room. This will also lend further support to David’s ventures into these islands. We also stand a chance to make some oil deals there. But I need to think about this one carefully as I might upset Hugo Chavez and next time you know he will order his air force to shoot down one of our planes making the trips there.
JenPa: Not to worry Sir. With good old Patrick gone, we can now get Barry to execute our own brand of diplomacy, no questions asked. He has not shown too much ambition like Danny and is content with the role as PS. Active diplomacy is the way to go. We entertain all these dignitaries and try to milk everything from their country.
Mr. President: I am confident that Pat will do a good job in London. He has always wanted to be the minister for tourism. Now he is heading a market that needs driving so his prime task is to get the numbers up. He also has his newly built mansion at Port Launay and I am sure he will be marketing it to all the top end rich guys to make some extra dough for his retirement.
JenPa: Sir, as per your instructions, I have started engaging these people on STAR and it is proving to be almost a full time job to keep up with them. Apart from Gill and his brother, the rest of the people contributing on this site are all “Anonymous”. I decided to adopt good old Pat’s namesake (as a tribute to our skirmishes at the MOFA) to take on those Gill boys and company.
Mr. President: We need to go more on the offensive JP. Public opinion is shifting every day. I have ordered The People to bash Wavel every week so that we can alienate him as a possible credible opposition. Despite all the good things we are trying to do for our people, sorting out the economic mess, calling on everyone to unite for the future etc... we are losing our popularity fast. STAR is single-handedly tarnishing my reputation as a credible leader. There are so many contributors on this blog that I cannot figure out how to cope with all this barrage of free speech. Perhaps you can have a chat with Srdjana as she has all this CNN experience. We need to free some additional cash to try and pay some people to contribute on the blog JP. Patrick X is sounding too monotonous and I want you to be awake in the morning.
JenPa: Sir, the corruption accusations have intensified lately. With the Sheik building his monstrous castle on top of La Misere and handing out a paltry $ 30 million for the Ile Perseverans Housing Estate and a platry Xray centre, it is obvious that some pockets are bulging. We need to find a way to appease this sentiment of ‘Seselwa Rasin’ that will soon turn into an active movement and spearhead another revolution like you guys did in 77. ‘Sesel pou Seselwa’ is their battle cry and this is resonating across our islands, especially when we see this water contamination fiasco and everything that is going on at La Misere shrouded in mystery. Can you believe that even Joel, who is always in the know, is clueless of what is really going on there? There is talk that he will soon be swallowing a lot of the ‘cap ros’ that you ordered him to sell for 1 rupee.
Mr. President: JP, I never realised that all these dealings with Sheik Kalifa will blow up in our faces. To add insult to injury, we are now being covered in faeces. I totally underestimated their good intentions. There is no doubt that Lepep is not buying the idea of an xray facility in exchange for all these privileges. We have been hoodwinked by the Arabs JP. Ton Albert was furious when he found out about the developments.
JenPa: Sir the repercussions are huge. Those huge cargo planes disgorging those huge containers are in full view of the public. The huge workforce smuggled into the country has now taken to shitting royally into our water catchment areas. Soon we will see the huge pylons for the cable car linking Barbarons to La Misere. This will surely deface our pristine landscape don’t you think?
Mr. President: Well JP, this is the price we have to pay for going green. If we do go ahead with our new projects to harness the wind, we will be erecting those huge windmills on our hills. When the pylons for the cable car come up, Lepep will already have an idea of what it will be like when we get our windmills. So I do not see really your point about defecating our landscape.
JenPa: Sir, I am sure that soon you will no longer have to report to Maison du Peuple on a Monday morning. Now you can catch a ride in the cable car to the La Misere palace to enjoy some Arabica coffee and dates after a well deserved weekend at your Petit Barbarons retreat. This is the life you have to start contemplating. In fact the view up top is amazing. You can survey the Sheik’s kingdom.
Mr. President: I never realised that he would be building such a huge palace to be honest. I thought he would go for something modest to integrate into our nature. But he has seen the monstrosity at Soleil D’Or and decided that he will not let a Ukrainian outdo him. I have tried to get Barry to play this out under a diplomatic shroud but the sheer size of the building is sticking out like a sore thumb. Apparently when it is finished it will be visible even from Praslin on a clear day.
JenPa: Indeed Sir, SCAA and the Ports Authority will not have to spend their budget on the extra navigational lights as the glittering palace will be enough to provide approach signals. This is a good compromise in exchange for forcing us to get rid of our lovely coco de mer  immigration stamps.
Mr. President: JP you are starting to adopt a sarcastic attitude. I think that you are getting too big for your boots young man! Have a bit of respect for the decisions that I am forced to take under pressure. You should be content with being my speech writer and managing the presidential affairs and agenda. I have given you so many hats to wear on different boards and elevated your status in society. That’s why you are so popular and have so many people who want to be your friend on Facebook. You have to be grateful to me.
JenPa: My apologies Sir. I know that you have been a beacon of light for me. I would not have been where I am just with the Adam name. I know that Ton Albert never wanted an Adam in State House. I know that the day you fade out of the picture, I will become a mere pixel trying to blend into the multicolour Seychelles landscape.
Mr. President: You have done some good things my boy. I always wanted to have a son by my side. The Jj Spirit is your brainchild and you seem so in touch with our youth. You are doing your best to convert the old NYS generation from Danny’s spell. We now need to focus on the enemy closer to home. We are succeeding in getting the opposition to remain divided and now we need to focus our attention on the internal power struggle. We have managed to keep the big boys in the army happy with all the construction projects they are busy with. They also need to look after themselves as otherwise they will not obey any orders...
JenPa: Sir we need to watch out. We do not want to emulate those African countries where the military calls the shots. Just look at what happened recently in Niger. We need to resolve our differences amicably. This new ‘Seselwa Rasin’ movement will start striking the right notes. There are a lot of ‘Fabrikes’ and Collaborators (like us) out there who have to answer questions. We have betrayed the original SPUP motto and it seems it is coming back to haunt us.
Mr. President: Not to worry JP. We will stand firm. I am confident that we will be able to weather all these storms. There is one common trait in the Seselwa mentality that I have learnt to exploit from Ton Albert. Give them what they want when it comes close to an election and you are guaranteed to remain in power. If you sense this power slipping, play the army card to scare the shit out of them. They will never change. Even if you give them all the various forums to express their democratic rights. We control the main message that needs to get to the people. Don’t forget that I am still the Minister for Information!
JenPa: OK Sir! You are the master of the game. I will continue with the blogging and keep diverting the attention of the Racinists. I just love these political chess games. My dad has really filled me in since a very young age and Patrick X will always outwit them!
JenPa begs his leave and proceeds to meet up with the Jj Spirit committee to map out the strategy for this new year of ‘together for the future’. Seychelles has got talent and the proof is in the pudding. We need to look for diversions to distract the youth’s attention from the multiple problems we are facing. The idea of sponsoring the premiere of a horror movie sounds brilliant. Oh well, need to focus on the State of the Nation speech – this one needs to be ‘shock & awe’.

Patrick X, you must be some unemployed person who is living off welfare.Where do you get the time to respond to every post? Get a job my friend and help out the Seychelles economy. If you live overseas, then you can't be doing much that is productive, unless you are one of those old SPPF guys who stole our money.

PS. I love the humour of the State House Anytime Now.Glad to see it is back.

This morning, Mr. Wavel Ramkalawan, in his reply to President Michel's State of the Union address, challenged the Government to put the mechanism in place to allow all Seychellois citizens living abroad to vote.

This is not the first time that this subject has been broached. The technology is readily available and all we need is the will. It is time for Seychelles to move forward, embrace technology and allow all its citizens their constitutional and universal suffrage right to vote.

My suggestion is for those living abroad to write/email Mr. Hendricks Gappy (Electoral Commissioner) to request that his office respect your rights and to develop a voting system/method for all Seychellois who happen to be living overseas at the moment.

In addition, we must ensure that the Commissioner keeps the voter registry open year-round instead of once a year. Many eligible Seychellois voters are frustrated because they are not in Seychelles when the registry is opened. Again, this is denying a Seychellois his/her right to vote.

Finally, I am glad to see so many Seychellois starting to take an interest in the politics of our country. In the end, we are the masters of our own destiny, and no politician or political party should deny us our legal rights. Free and fair voting is the best method of choosing the leaders of our country and the power to elect or remove someone is in our hands. After all ,it is supposed to be the Government of the People, and not the People of the Government. Politicians work for us and are paid by our tax-payers money.

Patrick x, u r no JeanPaul Adam.I don't like that short guy and his ass-likcing but he is still a better Seselwa than u who seems to have your head and entire body stuck in the ass of the SPPF.Remember that no one knows u online so u won't get any points with Albert & Michel by blogging. U r simply a sad case of a broken record. Wake up n smell the fresh tea brewing in Seychelles and the winds of change that is already blowing. We will take our country back in 2011 n people like u will shut up once n for all.

You may stand a chance in 2016, but as said before, forget 2011. But again, to win 2016 you must start working now.

I would also recommend you to have a party that is a worthy opponent of the PL before celebrating your victory. Don't sell your chickens till the eggs are hatched guys. Start by laying some eggs first.

Patrick X

Anonymous said...

X, seems to me that both your chickens and your eggs have been cooked by the red SPPF fire.So no more little SPPFs to hatch. Albert is no longer making little princes like Francis, and Michel is impotent, although the viagra pills do help a little with the mistresses. The young wife however looks sad and miserable, poor girl. Should have stayed on Praslin where the cocodemer rasta guys are much harder if you know what I mean. Maybe that is why Michel took the nuts off our passport stamp.

For everyone having problems with STAR, it seems that Cable & Wireless and other Internet Service Providers are "caching" pages. Therefore, you may see the oldest posts rather than the new ones.

Simply hit your "Refresh" button when you go to STAR and it will load the latest STAR pages.

We appreciate your feedback. Keep up the great work for democracy.

I enjoy reading the State House comedy pieces and am happy that it's made another appearance. Although comical, the issues are very real.

Something that one can draw from this and what is also a real danger to our country and future in my opinion is the following.

Although James Michel is the President, the person with a key role in the functioning of his administration and providing advice is JP Adam. Thus an important role.

So the questions that are begging to be asked are:
- What has JPA really done to deserve our tax money for the post of Secretary of State? Show us the results please.
- Can we really put him in any league of people in the same posts in other countries?
- Does he have any experience and why have other people within the Seychelles foreign affairs community been overlooked?
- What does he do besides earn air miles, write speeches, sleep with the young ladies and try to mess the youth’s head with the JJ Spirit- by the way Kenny Roberts is a member of the team there as well.

Supposedly educated, JP I believe benefited from a Chevening Scholarship. Thus, how could he with all his smarts, support a party like the one in power. I would understand if you went to study in Cuba!

(A dramatic pause here as we wait for PX to say that there is no other option to the PP.)

The danger that I referred to above is that someone of his nature is the worst kind of person to be associated with because you never see his true colours. He’s like a person you know who is friends with you and a good worker today, but is also scheming behind your back to screw your wife and take your house.

You must be reading this blog JP, so I am asking you directly: How can you sleep at night? Do you have no morals or principles?

I cannot help to associate JP with the infamous mystic of the Tsar Nicholas II’s court – Rasputin. If you don’t see the connection, check out this link : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rasputin

Strangely similar is it not?

You may choose to reply to my comment under various pseudonyms JP or even the famous PX (who seriously should get a job or a life) can defend your cause, but at the end of the day, I and many others are very disappointed in you.

Is this the reason for your life?

Now go a report this to Michel in your next briefing with him.

Overall, if James is relying on JPA, and at the end of the day Seychelles is as well, then we as a people are really in a comedy.

A dark comedy.

I am so happy State House anytime is back. It is my favorite article I followed since Weekly days.

Ah, the glory of ideas, over dead- matter!

Regarding Patrick X- Get a grip of yourself X take a break, go to the beach, go fishing, watch turtles hump a little, in our culture, it relaxes an exhausted mind. Allow Madam Gamatis to pick from where you left off on the debate. Momma is all that's left, now.

Anonymous said...

'B':

SHAN is a comedy, nothing but a comedy meant to ridicule the prez and JPA. In other words it has nothing to do with real life believe it or not although som of the points there may be related to it. You wonder why JPA sticks to his post? The same reason Ramkalawan, Jean Francois Ferrari and Volcere stick to theirs because apart from the money they are getting I cant't really see them getting much done. So if you guys want to go and wage a crusade against the Adams, please go ahead and put them on your 'unwanted' list together with Fabrike, Muslims etc.

But since you guys can't get to Patrick X as nobody knows who he is you now jump on Jean Paul Adam thinking he is Patrick X whom you previously thought was Patrick Pillay and even Patrick Herminie.

Really guys, this is getting sadder and sadder and while you're wearing yourself out shaddow boxing the PL is saving their energy to serve a 'manman koudpwen' to put you all to sleep till you wake up one day after the 2011 election and say 'Did we win?'.

I can see that you are all clueless as the attacks on whoever critices you are sinking beyond rock bottom and now I am just waiting for one of you to as me to meet outside Pirates Arms or something just as pathetic.

And you ask me to get a life?

I do not care who you are. What I do care about are the ideas you bring to the table.

Those ideas are the same elitist ideas borne out of an articial sense of accomplishment over the years by having a free hand at corruption by the Adam family and Michel and Rene Family.

Say what you like, Patrick, you sound just like them after a double scotch.

For the fact that these ideas have been made public by STAR, I am gratful. The people like Madam Gamatis and Herminie, Bonte, Dolor and others, are just there to work as your houseboys. You have made that clear.

But these people in spite of following PL, have dignity and worthy of their Freedom, in spite of what bad deeds they may have been asked to do in the past.

The time for enslavement is over Patrick X. If you do not think so, stick around and you will find out.

Thank you STAR Team, excellent job.

As for cable and wirless, if they touch STAR we should pull our lines from them all 1000 views each week. A law suit in the UK should be considered seriously with money damages attached.

Did you listen to that whining shrieking SPPF bitch this morning on radio and on TV tonight. I don't know how many SPPF dicks she has sucked but the woman is insane. I guess now the Kalifa palace is a diplomatic home. Next she'll tell us the new BMWs are a gift to the country.

As for Patrick X, he would make a good partner for Potter the Whiner.

Anonymous said...

I can see this is getting to a very high level indeed. This is just what the PL wants, a low level discussion site where in the end nobody is going to boter to participate.

So my advise guys is to keep it up if you want to be associated with being low-level. Alternatively you can start by bringing up this site to a high level starting with the main guy himself.

Does that make sense to any of you?

Patrick X

To PX;

I and everyone knows that SHAN is a comedy, but it is still a representation of the situation. You of all people should understand symbolism and satire.

Just like in my previous post, I know you would try to defend JPA. So my point is proven. Thank you.

We don't care who you are. Get over yourself.

Our aim is to get this government out of power and Save Seychelles Now.

Thanks for the reply. I do enjoy a comedy.

Cheers

Keep on fighting for your goals B. After all, if we don't have anything to fight for what do we have?

Cheers

Patrick X-

I am the main guy.Since I am so stupid as you assert, read below, and we will see who is stupid.

1. When I warned that a bond issue at9% interest would bankrupt Seychelles, who ignored the warning and took the BOND from Lehmann Brothers?

Answer: James Alix Michel.

2. When I said that money was being stolen directly from under our nose in the Central Bank, who ignored the warning, until IMF said the Governor had to go before any plan could be considered to help Seychelles in October 2008?

Answer: James Michel

3. When I warned that economy would under go a severe deflationary period with minus growth rates and not plus 10% GDP, who ignored the idea?

Answer: James Michel.

4. When I said do not build a 7000 room hotel city on Coetivy because it will hurt Seychelles, who ignored this idea, until the USA intervened to stop the project diplomatically?

Answer: James Michel

5. When I said that Government should impose Develoment Impact Fees on large developers, to pay for our infrastructure at the application stage, who ignored me to the detriment of we not having proper infrastructure today?

Answer: James Michel

6. When I warned about a too strong Seychelles Rupee hurting Tourism expenditure, and total net recievable , which today is -25% on -1% arrivals, who ignored the idea?

Answer James Michel

7. When I warned about an unsustainble housing project of 5000 houses in 2006, who ignored the idea, and today needs Sheik Kalifa to kick in money to finish a dead project that is built at sea level?

Answer: James Michel

8. When I warned that Strategy 2017 is an unsustainable objective of 10% GDP per annum, who ignored the idea?

Answer: James Michel.

9. When I warned that using Boeing 767-200 old planes with new paint is a bad idea and will hurt Air Seychelles, who ignored the idea?

Answer: James Michel.

10. When I said the piracy issue needed to be faced with force-resistance,instead of blood pressure machines, and bottled water, four (4) square meals a day, for the culprits, who ignored the idea, only to then clandestinely- jump the idea after the damage has been done.

Answer: James Michel.

Finally, this one needs no numbers:

Who ignored my call for a Government of National Reconstruction, only jump on a cow kart of KOSTE a few years later, as things got really bad?

Answer:James Michel.

You see Patrick X, the problem with stupid people, they have existed the world over for generations, they have no foresight, they only learn from their mistakes. When a leader leads by mistake, it breeds chaos for his people.

Now if Michel had listened years ago, we would not be in the situation of chaos we are in now.

Finally, I did notice the English version of Michel's Speech is not the same as the Creole version, substantially, different in fact.

Another act of decpetion by P.P.

Keep it coming Patrick X, you are welcome to present your views on STAR.

Have a nice day.

I truly enjoyed the skit. The author has much talent.

Patrick X is so narcissistic that he took satirical comedy that mocks his Collaborator views as complimentary. So long as he is the center of attention he cares very little what is actually said about him or in what context. But as they say, it takes all kinds.

Enough said.

You guys have made Patrick X the centre of attention. If he were an agitator on behalf of SPPF (which I doubt he is) he couldn't be more happy as instead of talking about the issues you seem to be content to talk about him and sling the proverbial mud. Time to refocus gentlemen and ladies. I come on here for enlightenment and a bit of entertainment ;-) It's all getting a little tedious now.

Anonymous said...

I agree with Carlos the Jackal. While we all appreciate a good banter, it is time to refocus our energies on the matters at hand rather than sling mud at each other. It is time for constructive criticism and ideas and we can debate them openly.

Patrick X, I would ask you to send in your own ideas that would benefit this site and our democracy instead of shooting everyone and everything down. So far, your one personal point is that SPPF/PL is a better alternative to SNP. While I don't agree with you, I respect your views. But after all the mistakes made by Michel (forget about Albert Rene's coup, corruption etc...), and as Gill just pointed out in all his questions/answers, how can we allow one man without a vision to continue the destruction that started with Albert himself. It is time to move on and get some new blood into State House; be it Boulle, Ramkalawan or any other. I am certain that many out there would do a better job than Michel. And I am sure that whoever takes over State House would bring a new team in that would be more credible than the current bunch who have to spend all day fabricating lies and trying to fool the people. Where is the honesty or the sincerity towards the people of Seychelles?

I am convinced that Michel is just not capable or does not have the brains and vision of Rene, and cannot cope with the pressure. After all, it must be tough to be President, let alone wake up every day to face the public to say that there is another problem caused by my mistakes and my Government.

How many more fiascos such as EDA, Desalination, Gold Card, Sale of land, Corruption, Missing Money, Army Rebellions, no free press, SR 800000 license for a radio station, a controlled SBC, collusion amongst banks, Central Bank money missing, land given to concubines, Army Brigadier stealing and building personal flats, Ramados casino license let alone hospital, state assets going to cronies, prison chaos, Kalifa or Ste. Anne sale for one rupee, IDC controlling our islands, Adam running amok at Sepec, bankrupt tankers, fuel and electricity prices skyrocketing when it should go down, drug and alcohol problems for our young people, drug entering the country, a pitiful police force, security clearance, Australians running our Customs and Tax offices, murders, Air Seychelles fiasco courtesy of David Savy, our people dying needlessly at the sad state of our hospital..... do we need before we realize that there is no leadership in Seychelles at the moment and that we are spiraling in a free-fall. What will it take to make our people understand that we can do better?

This is a long post for me. I truly enjoy this blog and I hope that we can get back to being civil to each other. I would also like to ask the Star team to remove any posts with indecent swear words. Some of our young people may be reading this blog and this is not what we want them to read.

Thank you Star for all your efforts. This is really the only forum one can go to read and vent, let alone laugh at a funny cartoon or the State House comedy. Keep it up if not for our sake but for the sake of tomorrow's children.

refer to last comment-

Well put. Let us get on track to dealing with issues and ideas. However, that is not easy when false ideas are being implanted on the site as propaganda by X.

Since the MNA's from both sides are working, I ask them for their input with names, since we pay you ladies and gentlemen to do our politics.

Cyberwaves are shaping your debate today as the LO speech showed and the Lady of Gov Business displayed.

STAR is a source of support for the courageous, as we will endorse good candidates over not so good ones.

State House Anytime, well people generally love it or hate it. That is the divide. Welcome back!

I will draft an article soon on HRH Sheik Kalifa. As he must be feeling bewildered over the fiasco at La Misere, I will provide him with a reasonable option out of this situation becoming of a king, hence, he will not have to stoop so low, as Michel has asked him too over and over, to meddle in our internal affairs.

We must reslove this affair for the residents affected in a dignified manner, in spite of Michel's failures. The eyes of the world will soon be over La Misere.

Contrary to P.P. propaganda, Rasin-ism is the tool to protect Seselwa Rasin, it is not "Racism" as Patrick X has conspiraed with P.P. to bring this false argument to the National Assembly.

As SNP has proclaimed "Sesel Pou Seselwa" they need to be prepared to defend the stance.

SNP needs to be armed with the intellectual tools of "Rasin-ism" to fight off P.P. falsehoods. If not P.P. will trample on you.

Rasin-ism is the key to beat P.P. in the next election and effect a change in Seychelles. Nothing else will do it. It can be done by a 58%- 38% vote.

No one has commented yet on the President's State of the Nation address or the LOP's and LOGB's responses. How about starting an intelligent thread on that with honest opinions? This would be a good start.

Anonymous said...

There is one, you'll find it at www.seychellestoday.blogspot.com, but unfortunately nobody seems to like honest personal opinions, not even our loudest promoters for democracy. I'm not bothered by the fact that the site has few replies, but I am disappointed by the lack of interest in opinion that differs from one's own.

And on this site? Sorry, they're too busy trying to bust my balls for having an open mind rather than concentrating on the case. They are however good at repeating themselves with the same words over and over again though.

As to ideas as 'Anonymous' asks for, i've given many, yes here on this site, and for every one all I get back are accusations of being Francis Gill's favourite word: collaborator.

You know, with politicians like these, no wonder our opposition is up 'shit creek' as the Australians say. Only this creek wasn't polluted by expats but our very own Rasin.

Will everyone be alright with posting Michel's speech, Mr. Ramkalawan's speech, Marie Lise Potter speech, and I have a little article done already?

Indeed, let's have the speeches of the three main actors!

As for Patrick X, shame that no one is following your blog. You do seem very lonely out there in cyberspace.
Quite surprised that you seem to come back time and time again to the STAR blog... You are really at home here. And this is where you belong my brother. Pull your weight so that you can get back your true dignity. Show us that you can put up a fight for your rights to be able to vote and decide the destiny of your children. It is your country. Enough of sitting back and moaning that PP is still the best alternative. You are trying very hard to convince us all of your open mind. But it is a 'fabricated collaborator's mind'!! Liberate yourself from this mental slavery my brother and pick up the flag and do your part. Your children (if you have any) will be forever grateful.

Anonymous said...

Anonymous, I think you'll find that my message has come through. My blog was an alternative to STAR as I am not a priveleged member here(not exactly welcome am I?) so I post my longer posts there so everyone and anyone interested can read them.

But come to think of it, it was quoted in The People of all places to my surprize and we all know that Patrick X has been quoted even by the STAR boys themselves, quite an achievement itself I dare say.

In other words I am very happy that my opinion is coming through and frankly I do not have a problem with you guys disagreeing with me. Think how boring this site would be if everyone agreed with oneanother.

Francis Gill would indeed get bored. :-)

Guys & gals please don’t get carried away in utter trivial arguments about if Patrick X is a collaborator or not. He might just be a simple guy trying to exercise his freedom of speech that has been denied to us for donkey years! He might be expressing his views & opinions, which, we all up here have to respect whatever his side of views maybe.

Don’t get derailed guys & let us be serious. Our main focal point is to strive & remove PL from power. And not trying to identify Patrick X or if he’s a PL collaborator or not!

I for one are all for posting all 3 speeches. I would suggest obtaining a transcript of the Michel's actual speech and contrasting it with the English version where he omitted references to Khalif and his attempts to instruct us to accept a sellout of our country for a few generators. This will show the world about the PP Collaborators deceitful and untrustworthy character when they cannot even be trusted to put out a correct version of the actual speech given.

Furthermore Niya, you are right. We need to focus on efforts to remove the PP Collaborators from power and retake our country from them.

The way to do that is through Seselwa Rasin-ism. Christopher and I are working on the Rasini-ist Creed that will lay out the Rasin-ist basic principles. The PP Collaborator are scared to death of Seselwa Rasin-ism because they know each Sesewla Rasin believes they are the rightfully owners of Seychelles and that it is their homeland and it is being sold right under our noses to Fabrike and foreigners.

The practical steps to take at this time is to engage in the all important step of self politicizing. this is done by learning about Seselwa Rasin-ist principles and the arguments made against it and the counterarguments for it. This politicization step is critical to build our confidence and resolve to remove the Collaborators from power. Then we must recruit 3 other Rasin we trust and do the same thing.

The PP Collaborators know the power of this effort to self-politicize and self-organize. So it is Mr. X's job to sow self-doubt about our ability to remove the PP Collaborators from power and mis-direct us wherever and whenever he can. We have debunked this effort and now we must move forward with the agenda by implementing our strategy of self-politicization and organization.

In this way we will remove the PP Collaborators from power.

Bernard Georges did the land sale to Kalifa for Scr. 1.00 according to the P.P.?

Can Mr. Georges please confirm or deny and explain this allegation made in the National Assembly today.

The Opposition wants to know.

Seven days.

Yes i have noticed weird things happening to STAR site, even refreshing does not seem to work.

On the State of the Nation address:

JAM

Same usual style filled with empty rhetorics. The question is whether is has gone down well with the the SPPF/PL grassroot and hardcore. I will say that it has. Howver i amtempted to say the JAM passes well on TV, one cannot really hate him like many hates FAR. He may even pass as honest if one did not even know better.

Ramkalawan

Good speech but appeared tired and devoid of spark. Speech was given in a blank manner, a far cry from his early days. The content of the speech was good and apeak of the realities of the country and the people. On the issue of unity in the Opposition? Apart from saying he encourages initiatives (i suspect he was referring to STAR/Gill) i did not see sincerity nor willingness. Issue here is whether he has managed to win back disenchanted/dishearted/disappointed ex SNP supporters. I do not think so. He has also not managed to move the 2/3% of the electorate who still supports DP/Mancham.I get the impression that Ramkalawan is reisgned and apathy seems to have set in within him. Unlikely to create the synergie much needed to bring a unified opposition nor create enthusiam.

MLouise Potter

I had to chuckle a few times by the obsenities and disjointed arguements she came with. She would have done better to just ignore the La Misere polution rather than try to find excuses or argue that since a few donations here and there from Sheik makes up for what happened. Overall her usual. I am unsure if it sat well with SPPF/PL hardcore.

Ferrari apparently gave a good speech today. I look forward to listening.

James Michel, despite having skeletons in his closet and being not much better than his predecesor, has a high level of charm and charisma and is very self confident. That gives attention and votes.

As you say, people forget his past as he takes out well on TV in addition to having the ability to be amongst the top and the man on the street at the same time.

The way I see it, the OP lacks the ability to be at the same level as the guy on the street, a bit like a person who cannot bend down too low either due to a bad back or simply because he's too fat. As politician one must be flexible and not only talk for the poor, but also do for the poor.

I havn't commented on neither speeches as they all contain the same crap from previous speeches, but naturally the 'Rasinism/Racism' was brought up and I'm glad it was although the main reason for it was naturally political gain. Predictable, but nevertheless inevidable and the promoters of it should have known better.

As to M.L. Potter's cover up speech? Well, what were you all expecting?

The issue of whether or not Mr. Bernard Georges prepared the sale documents to Khalifa is a PP Collaborator smokescreen designed to hide PP Collaborator guilt for selling us out to Khalifa. While it may have been improvident for Mr. Georges to have participated in such a distasteful transaction in any capacity, his level of culpability pales in comparison with that of Michel and his Collaborator administration.

Mr. Georges was not responsible for arranging the "sale", possible accepting bribes for it to occur and thereafter allowing 700 undocumented workers to enter our country illegally and work for an illegal construction company not licensed to do business in Seychelles, pollute the drinking water exposing Rasin to all kinds of dangerous diseases, and to do so with complete and utter immunity and impunity. This is the real affront to our sovereignty and this is the real betrayal of "Seychelles Pour Seychellois" not Mr. Georges preparation of conveyancing deeds.

Moreover, I enjoyed Vox's critiques of the three speakers. Stated between the lines of Vox's comment is that we should not neglect to remind ourselves of the kind of person we are dealing with when we see Michel's feigned exterior demeanor of kindness and good manners. What we are dealing with is a deceitful and duplicitous human being. You need not go further than the fact that he released a sanitized version of his speech in English while in Seselwa (formerly Creole) Michel defended his sale of our country to Khalifa.

Our country's sovereignty and dignity and no country's sovereignty and dignity should be for sale. Michel was so embarrassed by that fact he could not even bring himself to publish his sales pitch to us Seselwa Rasin to accept the sellout of our country in the English version of his speech. This is the kind of person, and this is the kind of people, we are dealing with when we are talking about Collaborators like Michel.

So as one of Rene's stated favorite personalities Che Guevara was fond of saying, and I paraphrase "Do not look at what they say, look at what they do they you will know who you are really dealing with." How appropriate for the self professed communist Mr. Michel. Look at what he does, do not listen to what he says for you to truly know him.

On the last point, I am not surprised that Rasin-ism has received and will receive attention from the PP Collaborators. This is an ideology that scares the Collaborators to death. If Rasin-ism did not matter to the PP Collaborators they would ignore it as it would not be worth their time. They are already beginning to scramble access to this Blog. They will do more as their fear increases of Rasin-ism. And their fear will increase as we Seselwa Rasin self-politicize and self-organize.

So do not be discouraged by PP Collaborator attacks on Rasin-ism and Rasin-ists. It is a badge of our success and we should wear it and bear it proudly.

You mean the same way they are protecting the Iraqis, the Afghans(both muslims) and the same way they protected the Vietnamese, Koreans(Bhuddists).

May I remind you that we a re NOT a Christian nation as our people consist of many religions.

The Americans, Chinese, Indians etc are all interested in putting a finger on Mahé for strategic reasons. To believe that they are here to 'save our arse' out of goodwill is rather naive.

I do however agree that the SPUP/SPPF/PL failed grossly in our defense by putting all the money on the land forces and not the navy. I was also one of the first to say that sooner or later there would be pirates on our islands and that they are a liability to our tourism industry. I also openly criticized, on another forum, the fact that the navy should have been given more funds during the years.

But believing that the Americans are here to 'save our arse'? Why do they not save the arse of those around the Straits of Mallaca or Southern Philipines were pirates have raged for decades?

We have the potential for becoming an oil producing nation and that is the sole reason why the Americans and NATO are protecting our waters.

We cannot ignore Patrick X, because his ideas are the ideas of the pp elite.

Anyone who has listen to the National Assembly debates and State of Nation Speech will know that most if not all issues handled by Michel,pp were positions taken by patrick x on Star.

The Opposition Leader Mr. Ramkalawan has taken many opposition positions we have taken on STAR aswell. I congratulate him for this, because it is a positive step to bring RASINISM to our People and ensure that Sesel Pou Seselwa politcal ideology is respected.

Today Ralph Volcere, will say in his meeting, Sesel Pou Seselwa! He will have tee shirts printed and people will wear.

We are on the move, to unite the Opposition under the Slogan: Sesel POU Seselwa!

This week, I have meet Hendricks Gappy Commissioner of Elections, Sir James Mancham (First President) and Commander of HVS SWIFT and the Nicolas. US Ships in port. They are fighting pirates for Seychelles. They are training our commandos to be real soldiers. I thank them.

Have a good weekend, STAR is breaking daily record visits. Spred the good news. Thank you X, you have done well, for a collaborator.

The Americans and NATO force are here for NO single reason. Unsurprisingly, when resources are at stake there is a strong incentive to get engaged and luckily in the process the failures of the SPP government is covered.

Natural resources such as fisheries and the emerging challenges of terrorism have wide and deeper impacts globally. Therefore, if the US and NATO are here in the EEZ, then somebody has grossly failed in this part of the region. When state governments persistently fails, but cunningly clinches to power, this is what happens. SPP have failed economically. This is why we have IMF regulating our economy because they could not successfully do it after more than three decades. Now they have failed to play an important role and protect our EEZ and the existing resources. Yes think of the food chain process globally not for an UNKNOWN POTENTIAL for oil. This is why we have the US and NATO operating from Seychelles. Finally although it has never been mentioned, do we really know to what extent the Americans are flying these automated planes deep inside Somali as part of a greater mission? If we do not know, it is because our SPP government is weak in terms of global governance.
SPP did not only fail to build a professional force for protecting our EEZ and our resources, but they have indeed failed in almost each and every aspect. It is only that some of our citizens are still to wake up and make a decision who needs to take a good rest.

Finally, the issue about Seychelles potentially becoming an oil producing nation as the sole reason the US and NATO are here is a Cinderella story to tell our kids. Nevertheless, taking a cautious approach and avoid the element of surprise as i usually practice myself, I would think we should rank this potential as VERY LOW. Hence, according to strategic and policy making decision process this is out of question. SPP always look at what they do not have rather than what our country was blessed with. I hope these young leaders and advisors can think harder beyond impressing the Pres and trying to fool the people.

Personally I am happy that the Americans are based on our islands and will be for a while yet to come. To be honest, rather NATO than China and if US is interested in us for the oil we have in our waters, then so be it. Again, rather them than China.

Chris, James Michel may have got his inspiration from mye writings on STAR and Seychelles Today and if that is the case, which I don't know it is, I feel very, very proud that the prezident if the country has taken time and effort to listen to a nobody like myself who has never voted in Seychelles and has been one of the SPPF/PL's harshest critic in the past. You may refer to me as a PL collaborator, but I stand my stand when I say I am not. I am however a Seychellois collaborator that sets Seychelles first and supports whatever is best for Seychelles be it PL, SNP, DP or GP(Gill Party). It just happens that I havn't agreed with your views, at least not all of them, and I certainly don't agree with your ways. Now if that makes me a PL collaborator in your mind then so be it as it is your ignorance. Good luck with your meetings and all the best in the coming election if you should decide to participate in it, which I hope you do.

I am however glad I've helped in my own way Chris, be it helping STAR, you etc, but foremost I'm glad if I have helped Seychelles as an entity.

Good weekend to you too, I'm sure we'll cross eachother's path before Monday morning.

lD1:

I agree with your assessment that it is highly unlikely that the United States has extended assistance to Seychelles to defend our territorial waters because we may have oil deposits. These deposits, while likely, are unproven, both in terms of quantity and its economic viability. Therefore they are unlikely to provoke much concern or interest with the Americans - at least for the time being.

The United States has extended its assistance to us primarily to protect world shipping from piracy. By cooperating with us, the United States can be more effective in policing the shipping lanes off the East African coastline.

This piracy has elevated the risk premium on insurance policies for ships traversing the Indian Ocean to a level that these additional costs could have a significant negative impact on international trade and world economic growth rates. Therefore the Somali pirates have become a threat to the economic security of the United States. In that respect our interests and those of the United States coincide and we therefore have a reliable partner, who seems to be respecting our national sovereignty and dignity, in assisting us in combating the scourge of piracy in our territorial waters.

We should also be aware of the broader context in which the United States is extending this assistance. The United States is extremely concerned about China's development of a blue water naval capability and that China is thus likely, in the next decade, to make a play for Indian Ocean naval bases to give them military leverage in the Indian Ocean which is in effect the soft underbelly of the world economy, as the Somali pirates have shown. So the United States is likely to want to increase cooperation with us, which may eventually include a mutual defense treaty, to deny China the capability of using ports in Seychelles for its naval forces. This will have the added benefit to the United States of allowing the United States to further project and enhance its military power in an area of the world which has been traditionally under British and French spheres of influence.

We should drive the best bargain we can in concluding such a treaty if it occurs. Meanwhile we Seselwa Rasin should define our long term strategic interests and goals so we can get the most from the developing relationship and friendship with the United States and from any mutual defense treaty which may materialize from it.

On a more immediate micro level, it would be devastating to our economy for instance if some of these pirates decided to come ashore on a kidnapping run at one of our premium resorts, kidnapping some of our wealthy patrons for ransom. If we do not have an adequate military deterrence the pirates are likely to realize that this option is the soft target that it is now, and to exercise it. This potentiality if it occurred would be fatal to to our economic well being so we should have a strategy in place to effectively counter it and deter it. The Americans are helping to establish this deterrence. Thus, I am very grateful for the assistance extended to us by the United States in this sphere.

I do however, agree with Patrick X that there should have been and still needs to be more of a focus on developing our own ability to defend ourselves from the Somali pirates and other seaborne threats to our national and economic security. We cannot and should not rely on foreigners to do all the work for us and expect to retain our sovereignty and independence.

While we can count on the Americans to assist us in the broad effort to protect the sea lanes from piracy we cannot count on them to provide a reliable deterrence to what they would consider minor attacks on one of our premium resorts but which attacks would be catastrophic to us. So we need to beef up our ability to defend ourselves effectively in this arena. This is part of the philosophy of "Seychelles Pour Seychellois" as well.

Leonard Francis Gill said...

Given the extreme import of this issue on our security and well being, it surprised me a great deal that it did not receive the attention it deserved in Michel's State of the Nation address. But, on second thought, it became obvious to me that Michel does not consider this issue to be of the highest priority even though it should be to the general well being of the Rasin homeland. He, like most other Collaborators, are concerned msotly about their personal well being and personal pockets. He was more concenered about appeasing his master Khalifa then in defending the country from potential pirate attacks. So, it is no coincidence that the bulk of the budget for our armed forces has been spent on land based forces whose primary mission it appears is to keep Michel in power and to intimidate and murder persons who are threats to the PP Collaborator hold on power.

We need a Rasin-ist government that will refocus our defense strategy to counter known external threats rather than focused on protecting one man or one group in power as is the case now.
Cont. Resp. to lD1:

It is the height of recklessness for the PP Collaborators not to have articulated a national defense strategy that addresses the issues in this comment and to explain how it will be implemented over the next decade. This is one more indicia of PP Collaborator incompetence that says only one thing - it is time for the PP Collaborators to go.

Leonard Francis Gill said...

Patrick X:

I appreciate some of the inspirational words in your last comments. I could even mistake you for a Rasin-ist. But based on your views supporting Fabrike passports you appear to still be a Collaborator. While you say you are for Seychelles what you really mean is you are for a Seychelles in which Fabrike can buy a passport and have full rights to Seychellois citizenship including becoming president - like your former Fabrike friend Ramados.

I do agree with you that there were significant intentional omissions from the rambling disjointed State of the Nation address by Michel. The whole exercise was nothing but banalities without any significant substance - this in a time of crisis when all that we Seselwa Rasin need is substance and good leadership, not salesmanship and good manners. For instance, while Michel says he sold us out to Khalifa for a couple of power generators he did not bother to articulate a comprehensive national energy policy that would not have us selling out our country, the Rasin homeland, to the next highest bidder to buy a tanker of oil to run the generators he prostituted our national dignity to obtain.

Michel talked about windmills too. All in a band aid fashion without a comprehensive energy strategy to address the fact that a large part of our foreign exchange is used to import petroleum products. Then he and his crew appear to have latched onto windmills as the solution for the energy needs of the country without looking at the issue as a whole and seeking comprehensive long terms solutions to our energy needs.

Since the PP Collaborators have latched onto windmills without the benefit of a free and open press, including liberal radio station operating rules, no one has been able to freely comment on the issue. So we will do it here where we are all free to comment without censorship.

For instance windmills may have a detrimental effect on our bird populations, as they have in other jurisdictions with large bird populations. Secondly they are noisy with a noise level from the friction from the blades equivalent to a loud motorcycle. So depending where they are placed, this could have a significant impact on the surrounding communities. If put out at sea, the noise and bird problems could be mitigated. But more importantly, the wind blows at its peak during the night when electricity demand is lowest. So a means of storing the night energy production from base-load and windmill generators must also be conceived and developed.

This can be in the form of hydrogen energy production made with electricity production that would normally be wasted during the evening hours. This hydrogen can then be burnt in lieu of diesel in our SPTC buses or sold commercially for use by all other diesel propelled trucks. Such an integrated system was successfully tested in Nantucket island in the United States several years ago and can be adapted for our use now.

Leonard Francis Gill said...

Cont. Resp. to X:

We should also not put all our alternative energy eggs in the windmill basket especially since windmills are relatively complicated and expensive to maintain. We should look at ocean current energy which is cheaper than producing wind energy, is easier to maintain and we have abundant ocean current sources that can be tapped with more reliable consistent power production than wind power. Companies like Blue Energy in Canada, under the tutelage of the Canadian government, have pioneered this field (Blueenergy.com). While this technology is in its infancy it has been sufficiently prooven to be part of our alternative energy mix so we will be better placed to scale up our production in the future using optimal systems. In my view given our ocean current resources this energy source has the potential to replace all our fossil fuel burning generators and can be successfully deployed on all our developed outer islands producing energy at a fraction of our current cost structure.

Other things that may be included in such a comprehensive energy policy is the sale of carbon credits for the windmill, ocean current and hydrogen energy production, to fund additional green generating capacity and to fund conversion of our current diesel and oil fired generators to use natural gas. Gas is a cheaper and cleaner source of energy than bunker or diesel fuel and can be secured by long term low cost contracts at the present time, cutting our energy costs in half by itself.

Such a comprehensive energy strategy and policy would add several percentage points to our annual GDP growth rates indefinitely into the future, substantially elevating Seselwa Rasin prosperity and our standard of living. After all, a penny saved, is a penny earned.

The fact that the PP Collaborators failed to articulate such a necessary comprehensive energy policy is just one more example of PP Collaborator incompetence and is one more example why the PP Collaborators must go NOW.

But on a serious note:

I have previously advocated what needs to be done in the energy sector and the way I see it, we may not necessarily need either windmills or gas plants which are both huge investments. Trust me, I've had assignments in the energy sector and it's not as simple as you may think. For instance, what's good for Nantucket Island is not necessarily good for Mahé.

The problem with the PL government(and I dare say you also have the same mentality) is that they tend to use canons where a simple rifle would have done the job.

The prime example:
A couple of years ago the govt went out and started promoting a railway project, an MRT to carry people from South Mahé to Victoria. Why? Because there was too much congestion in Victoria due to traffic. Now if I was Minister of Transport the first thing I'd do was to find out what and who was causing congestion in Victoria by carrying out a survey and study and when that was done I'd look for 2-3 alternative solutions to eliminiate or reduce the problem. I'd also do so by looking at examples of otyher small island states who has experienced the same. But what did the PL do? They decided a railway would solve all issues. Ridiculous!

cont....

Patrick X

Anonymous said...

Prime example 2:

Energy and too little capacity was becoming a problem. PL collaborators(the real ones and one in particular) claimed that there was not a capacity problem. The government in turn started out expanding the net, new generators etc which was to me a correct thing to do, but at the same time no measures were taken to cut reduction. I recommended(on another blog) that the govt should

1) Ban all import on conventional light bulbs and reduce duty on energy savers.

2) Partially subsidize solar heaters and renewables

3) Give no permits to new housing unless they were equipped with renewables(solar panels for lighting end heating etc)

4) Tax the shit out of those with swimming pools, air cons and any other appliances that require high energy consumption.

Now what response did you did I got? Not a single one and nobody seemed to give a shit about it. In other words, nobody wanted to make the effort.

My point is that charity starts at home. By reducing energy consumption in homes and offices I believe we may not even need to expand our production capacity, at least not for the moment. As to the energy question, James Michel is saving that for his successor. Trust me, no prezident wants to revolutionize the energy sector on his watch as everyone has to contribute economically and that costs votes.

I may as well mention that I promoted all this through another blog under another name. You should now easily be able find out under which name it was. Might as well let the cat out the bag since we're beoming friendly with eachother. Let me know when you find out who I really am.

Cheers

when people discuss possible solutions instead of 'tilting at windmills',
it makes reading worthwhile.

talking about renewable energy, a feasibility study would need to be done
first before to see how best to make use of natural resources within
geographical constraints.

Anonymous said...

Very well said Anonymous, a political party wiht a clear and sustainable strategy for energy use/re-use would certainly get my attention, but I doubt that the average Seychellois would give a damn about it. For instance, energy saver bulbs have been on the market for the last decade and a half, but few buy them as they are 'expensive'. The same person who complains about the price however is willing to spend the equivalent in take-aways for his lunch.

I think the politicians of tomorrow have to learn to target their voters correctly and be willing to make unpopular decisions not least force through unpopular measures.

But back to tthe energy question I'd like to know which Rasin resources we have that can put up the question on the agenda and stand for it through good and bad. The Suez guys surely have the capability to do so, but will their recmmendations be good enough if it contradicts the interests of the windmill promoters or even promoters of a railway?

The problem with our politicians is that they have acted out of their personal interests. We all know that Rene has shares in a cement supplier located in Indonesia so naturally those huge construction projects were in his interest as they dripped $$$ in his pocket. So would the construction of a railway. Francis Gill on the other hand is eager to promote American windmills and ask another he/she would promote something of own interest.

THe day however a person promotes what's best for Seychelles, he/she is branded as collaborator or traitor. And we wonder why there is no progress.

Patrick X:

As usual your logic is faulty in defining a comprehensive energy strategy for Seychelles. Your solution is to bring in expensive solar cells and force Seselwa Rasin into a lower standard of living so we can afford to keep firing up expensive diesel and bunker oil fired generators. That is not the solution, it is the typical PP Collaborator response to our problems - tax everyone to economic death and into poverty, rather than do the necessary work to make all Seselwa Rasin more well off.

Nor as you put it is American windmills the solution. In fact most of the windmills that would work in Seychelles are produced in Europe probably by the French or the Danes. Some are produced by General Electric, an American company, but it is not clear to me that those windmills will work best in Seychelles. So contrary to your statement, I do not care what kind of windmills we use as long as we use the best ones for our country defined as those that produce electricity in the cheapest way over the longest term possible. That should be the criteria.

What I do advocate is the conversion of diesel and oil fired generators to natural gas. Again contrary to what you say Mr. X this is not all that expensive when you compare it with the cost of continuing to burn oil or diesel. While you would force each Rasin to change his or her light bulbs while we spend twice as much to produce the electricity than is necessary, I suggest reducing our costs of electricity to the lowest costs possible then use sensible conservation efforts while considering the new reduced costs of electricity. For instance if we can produce electricity by wave current energy at US$.05/Kwh why should we spend SCR300 for a light bulb that will take ten years to recover the cost of purchasing that light bulb in electricity savings. By the same token if we are using expensive solar panes where it costs SCR5/Kwh to produce electricity then the SCR300 could be a bargain if it cuts electricity use by half. So, it may be cheaper for us to produce more wave current electricity at US$.05/Kwh than for us to buy light bulbs at SCR300 so why buy the light bulb instead of producing more wave current energy?

Since there appears to be huge unrealized savings in the costs of producing our electricity we must first reduce our electricity generation costs. Once that is done we can then use those new costs to define what are cost effective conservation measures. This is the right way to approach the conservation strategy Patrick X advocates.

Here are the very rough comparative costs of producing electricity from the various sources we are discussing. It costs about US$.50 per kilowatt hour of electricity produced to do so with solar panels. Windmills are at about US$.07/Kwh and ocean current is at about US$.05/Kwh. Gas is about US$.12 and conventional oil is currently about US$.20.

So our goal should be to obtain as much of our energy from the cheapest most reliable source possible so that every Rasin can have air conditioning or a swimming pool and a washing machine, dishwasher, TV in every room if they want etc. The job of the government is to elevate the living standards of every Rasin to the highest in the world. It should not be to tax everyone to an equivalent level of poverty as you Collaborators do now and as Patrick X continues to advocate.

A Rasin-ist government will seek to elevate the overall standard of living of all Rasin in the lowest tax structure possible so that Seselwa Rasin can spend their own money wherever and for whatever they want - we individual Rasin know how to spend our own money better than the PP Collaborator government can waste it, so you Collaboratrs should keep your grubby hands off our money. We Rasin will know when it makes economic sense to buy a light bulb rather than a box of Seybrew if the advantages and disadvantages of each are fully explained to us in a free and open forum as we have here on this blog. We should not be dictated to by the likes of Patrick X and his PP Collaborator paymasters.

Insofar as the Nantucket study is concerned, it is my opinion that it is very relevant to Seychelles. It has a similar geographic dimension as Mahe though we have more steep roads, and it has a geographically isolated power grid system as we do - they like us cannot sell excess power nor can they buy it from a larger source. There is nothing about our buses that make the diesel burnt in them different then those in Nantucket. There is nothing about the wind energy used there that is different than ours. There is nothing about the hydrogen they produced from excess electricity generation that is different there than it is in Seychelles. There is nothing in Nantucket's experiment that would invalidate its conclusions to be adapted to make our energy costs some of the lowest in the world. Again Patrick X without even looking at the study, your prejudice against American prevents you and other Collaborators from taking the best the world has to offer, especially from the Americans, and adapt it for use by and for the advancement of Rasin interests.

We Seselwa Rasin cannot afford to let our narrow prejudices cloud our judgment when evaluating what is best for our country. If the Americans have the best solutions we must use them. The same goes for the French, Indians, Chinese or whoever else. Patrick X is an admitted racist and he now appears to be anti-American to boot. That should not influence the rest of us in fairly and objectively evaluating all possible solutions and freely and openly discussing them, and eventually making a collective decision on the best course of action to take. This free and open process is exactly what has been missing over the last 3 decades in the Seselwa Rasin homeland.

I have branded you a traitor to Rasin interests because that is what you are. You advocate selling out our country to Fabrike and selling out Rasin interests to Fabrike. That makes you a traitor and a Collaborator.

Additionally, I do not care where you are or who you are. What matters is that you are a proxy for the PP Collaborators - your views are their views.

I know you from your comments here and that is sufficient. I do not want to know you any more than that and would not associate with you on any level beyond that.

What I do know about you, I do not like. You are a man without personal honor because you are an incorrigible and shameless liar, and you think you are better and superior to all of us, that is why you will not apologize for lying even after you admitted to lying when you said you did not advocate putting a bullet into your former Fabrike friend Ramados because he refuses to continue to pay you Collaborators a bribe or "tax" as you put it. Or, you will not admit to lying even when you are caught red handed as when you admitted you were a racist and then said you did not make such an admission.

These qualities though do not surprise me since you are after all the proxy for the PP Collaborator government and exude the same qualities that they do.

With friends like you guys there is clearly no need for enemies. For Christ's sake, even when someone recomends an energy source that you disagree about they are accused of being collaborators, PP friendly etc. What the hell has solar panels have to do with being a collaborator?

I was addressing the following statement where you played the victim because you are accurately described as a Collaborator:

"The day however a person promotes what's best for Seychelles, he/she is branded as collaborator or traitor. And we wonder why there is no progress."

So I explained why we call you a Collaborator and it has nothing to do with your promoting what is best for Seychelles. It is because you sell out Rasin interests to Fabrike.

Also, there is a connection with Collaborationist attitudes and how the PP Collaborators are going about determining that windmills are the best alternative energy solution, and then deciding to sell us out to Khalifa to obtain them. This is all occuring in a context where the PP Collaborators have stiffled free expression by placing unreasonable restrictions on Radio licenses, refusing to make state funded media and by intimidation tactics. They should be engaging in a free exchange of ideas on this issue just like we are doing on this blog. From these ideas you can then investigate and evaluate the best alternative energy solutions for the Seselwa Rasin homeland.

This is one connection to the PP Collaborator mentality that can be observed even in this mundane issue. If this explanation is insufficient I will elaborate additional connections to the lack of a comprehensive energy plan etc to the Collaborationist mentality.

As far as your other comments expressing less than good manners or diplomacy that you profess to value, I will withhold comment.

It's becoming a bit of a snooze fest now. Fair play to Pat X he's really got les freres Gill wound up, Francis in particular. I hope I'm not the only one to see it but the rhetoric and terminology used would not be amiss in George Orwell's '1984'or in present day North Korea.
I grant that some valid points have been made by many people on here but feel that the overall tone will do nothing but harm your cause and if anything will alienate many people currently hedging their bets. You seem to see things in black and white and not the many shades in between.

Leonard Francis Gill said...

Jackal:

No one is wound up. We Rasin-ists are committed to defending our position. There is a difference. Normally the PP Collaborators have the field to themselves. This time they do not. We will defend every single centimeter of contested ground.

As a Rasin-ist I do see Sesel Pou Seselwa as a black and white issue. There is no gray area here that I can see or will recognize. So you are correct about this. Seychelles belongs to Seselwa Rasin - period. That is black and white. That is why the Rasin-ist symbol is a black star on a white background representing the fact that this is a black and white issue.

Your reference to George Orwell's 1984 is interesting since that was a fictional account of an overbearing big brother government much like the PP Collaborators' government which sought to control every though of its citizens. So making that kind of allegation against Rasin-ists on a blog where anyone at all can comment in any way they want is indeed ironic, or perhaps ignorant of the true nature of Orwellian thought or speak.

If Jackal, you do not have the stomach for the mild tug of war ongoing in this blog, you certainly will not have the stomach to take on the PP Collaborators in the full blown fights they have planned and are now planning for us. We must build our fortitude and internal ideology to be able to withstand the rigors of the fight ahead that will be absolutely necessary to retake our country from the PP Collaborators and bring them to justice for the crimes they have committed against us Seselwa Rasin. This is not an effort for the feint hearted and it begins by the rigorous debate we have undertaken here in a free and open atmosphere.

The PP Collaborators are counting on your weakness for the full blown fight they have in store for us in order to defeat us. We must not prove them right. So if you have better ideas then mine, by all means put them on the table and lets flesh them out and determine what is best for all Seselwa Rasin. It does no one, at this early stage, for you to simply throw up your hands in defeat.

Reply, I hope you all had a good weekend.

A few points.

I have asked Francis to deal with Patrick X comments, as it takes too much time, and X is no longer contributing anything of much value, except to disclose to us the type of people the pp elitist really are. We are use to the cursing, and bad mouthing when they are bankrupt of ideas. In the National Assembly, they have done the same to the poor Opposition, fighting for some ground.

Francis is not a spokesmen, so you stand corrected. He is executing a purposeful mission. I believe he is doing an excellent job.

Regarding the endangered birds at La Misere. This is a very valid point. I would call on Nature Seychelles, to file a request for Stop Order, in Court, until a program to save these birds are effected. Since the project has no EIA, I would ask that a plan be drafted, to save the birds. Sheik Kalifa, should finance the effort.

There will be other similar cases rising, as EIA process has been circumvented.

I appeal to SPPF and all you pp collaborators, in full swing to sell out Seselwa Rasin of their motherland, please stop cursing us. When you curse us, you are cursing our attempt to save you from yourselves.

Has the construction stopped? No.

They are above the law and noone can touch them.

And like it or not, theres nothing you can do to stop them, Gill.

We cannot stop the PP Collaborators now, but if we all work together, over time, we will stop them. The worst thing we can do is despair. Patrick X and other Collaborators want us to despair, to believe we cannot win. That way they can keep power and continue to sell out our country to Fabrike and foreigners who bribe them.

So instead of despairing, start politicizing about Rasin-ism then start organizing. This is the way we can become militant in our beliefs and armed with this strength, we will, sooner or later, defeat the PP Collaborators and make Sesel Pou Seselwa a reality.

With respect to Patrick X's continued comments that we Gill Brothers are "wound up" in Rasin as warned, this is just more of the PP Collaborator smokescreen intended to deter and demoralize us. We are only tangled up in the Collaborator's mind. They are petrified that we Seselwa Rasin are self-politicizing and self-organizing and will throw them out and bring them to justice for their crimes. Rasin-ism is keeping the Collaborators awake nights and mumbling to themselves.

I thank my brother Christopher for his kind words and his good, honest, determined leadership. I am nevertheless happy to be a spokesman, or to do any other job to promote the cause. That too must be part of what is expected of any Rasin-ist. None of us should ever be too proud or too indispensable so that we believe that some jobs are beneath us. So armed with this attitude we Rasin-ists cannot be insulted or demeaned or played one against the other as Patrick X has attempted. But I do very much appreciate the words of encouragement.

We will press on with making Sesel Pou Seselwa.

Again I write today in regards to accountability, principles and oath.

Can anyone tell me where Mr. Rolf Payet aka Mr. Know It All aka Mr. Nobel Peace Prize is? I remember a time when he was everywhere and did everything just for some air time on SBC. Remember him explaining a tsunami back in 2006 by referencing a bathtub? Isn’t he the Advisor to the President on Environmental issues? Now that he is on the PL Executive Committee, and the issue of La Misere is prominent, he is nowhere to be seen. Why am I not surprised. Is he trying to be smart? Sorry Dr. Payet, your intention to cloak yourself has been noted. What advice have you given to the President on this issue? Should you also not be accountable?

Again, a fine example of the PL intentionally sweeping dirt under the carpet, and purposely hurting our people, to protect their own interests. Have they forgotten that it is our money through taxes that pay their salaries? We are their bosses. Even the President should be accountable to us.

In the case of not only La Misere but the importation of the BMW’s, we as a nation need to have certain principles that we follow. If we are to be associated with country X (not you PX) and also Y, where both have conflicting interests, then where do we really stand? What is our national policy? Where do we draw the line? When does our President and public official become a real statesman/ambassador and a real protector of our country?

When it involves conflicts of interest, the PL team is always available to get their corrupted hands in the cookie jar. However, when it concerns playing an active role in their country’s interest, they are nowhere to be seen. In fact, they become allergic to cookies.

Excuse my language, but again the recent incidents have shown that we have become a country that can be labeled as a prostitute. Our President will do anything, if the price is right, including screwing us, as well as the oath he took on the lawn of State House, many times over.

To Christopher and Leonardo

Good day to you both,

I have so much to write about that me not knowing where to start.....such as to who first discharged diesel fuel down our catchment area at la Misere.....who first destroyed our White-eyed Owls habitats....in those days the Antonov work was done by one Motor Vessel Meteor that ankored in Victoria Harbour - was too massive to "koste" o bor la sose - .

In a nut-shell Monsieurs Gill, History seems to be repeating itself in every way possible and I find it mind bogling. Raw sewage from the SS Kampala - another song made famous by another Seychellois Legend in my good Mate Mickey Mancham - that contaminated all the imported foodstuff that were imported by Temooljee....Richard Mancham.....Jivan Jetha..... Adam Moosa and other Key Players that supplied the Americans at La Misere. It was an unfortunate accident and I am not quite sure what actions if any were taken against the Captain of the SS Kampala as to how long have they been discharging the above in our pristine harbour when it should have been done in the high seas....and most importantly, what action did the late Mr. Gilbert Barallon took to prevent reccurence that our fully laden Salan are not to be used as a potsam....

And by the way Christopher and Leonardo, before I go any further, I would like to ask you both a simple question and the question is "When did the first Coup D'tat happened in Seychelles?."

I await with great anticipation Brothers Gill for your reply.

None of us say that the situation before Independence was ideal. That is why my late Father sacrificed to change what was going on before June 29th 1976. That is why we struggled under the banner of "Seychelles Pour Seychellois". That is why my late Father sacrificed and contributed so much so we could have "Seychelles Pour Seychellois". That is why so many others did so much and sacrificed so much: so we could have "Seychelles Pour Seychellois".

Is it your point that we removed British colonial masters simply to replace them with PP Collaborator masters who have the right to sell the Rasin homeland to the highest Fabrike or foreign bidder? You think that is right? You think that we should be pleased and satisfied and accept the PP Collaborator masters because they are equal to or not as bad as our previous British ones? Did we fight to have another master or did we not fight to be our own masters - for "Seychelles Pour Seychellois"?

Did you fight to replace British sponsored pollution at La Miser with Khalifa pollution sponsored by the PP Collaborators? Did you not fight to make a better Seychelles for us Seselwa Rasin where no one would or could pollute our sea water or drinking water catchment without being held accountable before the law? Did you not fight for equality of everyone before the law? How is it OK to replace British colonial masters with PP Collaborator masters who are now above the law? How can your accept this fact much less argue in its favor; if you are a Patriot, as you seem to think of yourself? The same spirit that moved you to fight against the British should now move you to fight against the PP Collaborators, not to defend them and their betrayal of us Seselwa Rasin.

The idea that past injustices excuse current injustice and betrayal by the PP Collaborators is a weak one. We want Sesel Pou Seselwa that my late Father and so many others fought for. That Rene and Michel promised and betrayed. A Seychelles that belong to Seselwa Rasin and to each of us equally where we each have an equal say, and where we can have our say when we want to say it in a free media, un-intimidated and standing tall when we say what we want to say. We are tired of being intimidated, we are tired of speaking in hushed tones in fear and enforced anonymity. We want a Seychelles where all are equal before the law, especially foreigners and Fabrike, who have been given immunity from the law because they bribe the PP Collaborators. In short we want a free and democratic Seychelles - a Seychelles that is not subjugated to PP Collaborator interests or sold out to Fabrike, but a Seychelles that is a Sesel Pou Seselwa and where our individual dignity and individual democratic power and participation is not only respected but honored - like it is here.

Leoanrd Francis Gill said...

To Anonymous:

I sympathize with your plight of having to pay SCR 2000 per year while foreigners and Fabrike waltz through our customs without a single penny exchanging hands except for what is paid by them as bribes to the PP Collaborators.

It is the PP Collaborator way to tax us Seselwa Rasin so they can give massive concessions to foreigners and Fabrike who have bribed them. They have in effect forced us Seselwa Rasin to subsidize their foreign and Fabrike friends business activities. The PP Collaborators have thus, in effect, forced us to subsidize their bribes by subsidizing their wealthy foreign friends and Fabrike.

But all Seselwa Rasin are affected by this odorous social contract between the Collaborators and their Fabrike friends and foreigners who bribe them. When a truck operator buys a truck to start a small business he or she must pay full duties on the equipment purchased. Then that person must pay full duties on all the fuel, spare parts and everything else they buy to keep their small business going and food on the family table. The same is true of the fisherman, the farmer or every other small scale Seselwa Rasin entrepreneur just trying to make a living. It is also true of all other Seselwa Rasin who buy a TV, washing machine or even one extra bottle of wine from overseas. All are taxed aggressively and those taxes are collected by foreigners who do the PP Collaborators bidding without question or conscience. In this way, Seselwa Rasin are in effect subsidizing the untaxed Fabrike and foreigner activities in our homeland.

I am not saying that in some cases we may not want to extend strategic tax concessions to encourage certain types of business activities to encourage the creation of jobs in our homeland. What I am saying is that these concessions should be available to everyone especially Rasin on an equal and transparent basis. Why should foreigners and Fabrike be treated better than Seselwa Rasin are in our own homeland? That is my point.

But you are not powerless Anonymous. You can become a Rasin-ist. When our creed is published you can print it and study it. Thereafter teach 3 others you trust about Rasin-ism and ask them to do the same thing. In this way we will self-politicize and self-organize. When we have completed this process we will remove the PP Collaborators from power and bring them to justice for their crimes against us Seselwa Rasin. You, and every other Seselwa Rasin, are the critical and unstoppable soldiers in this effort. In this way we can make our tax structure and tax system fair and equitable to us Seselwa Rasin and thereby make Sesel Pou Seselwa.

Gooday Leonardo,

What I have fought for in the past, the present and the future, I have done so because of my GENERATIVITY. Please suss out what that word means.

In regards to your Dad's contributions and sacrifices were indeed his choice. What reward was Mr. Gill Senior expecting from the SPUP Leadership?. How did he fell out of favour from SPUP?. Is it the same way Hodoul, Berlouis, Lucas, Marie, Bonte and Ferrari fell out of favour too?.

I shall return in due time as I prepare golden bullet.

I am not fond of using big words when a small one will do - though I admit that I sometimes ail in this effort. While some who use big words think that it makes them appear intelligent and sophisticated, it is my opinion that it does the opposite. Generally, the user comes off as pompous and arrogant as was the case with your use of the word generativity in an obviously inappropriate context.

Nevertheless, I believe you resorted to a pompous answer containing the word genrativity out of context, in order to avoid answering some very direct questions that you could have been answered in most instances by a simple "yes" or a "no". For instance, do you think that we fought for independence so that the PP Collaborators could sell our passports and load our voter rolls with Fabrike voters? Yes or no. Do you think foreigners should be above the law in Seychelles the Rasin homeland? Yes or no.

Also, in your attempt to avoid directly responding to the questions I posed, you talk about my late Father. You are right, my late Father voluntarily chose to contribute to the effort to make "Seychelles Pour Seychellois". That was his choice. No one forced him. Many other Seychellois made the same choice. No one forced them.

All these Seychellois stood for a principle. They stood for making our country the Rasin homeland. The SPUP leaders who started the SPUP with my Dad said they stood for those same ideals. But in Rene's case this was a lie. Rene took the support many Seselwa Rasin provided to the SPUP which was intended as a mandate to make Seychelles Pour Seychellois and he betrayed us to establish a dictaroship to benefit hiself adn his family and cronies.

You ask what my late Father wanted by helping to start, and by helping to support the SPUP: the answer is my late Father wanted "Seychelles Pour Seychellois." While I am not familiar with all the motives of the other individuals you mentioned who had a falling out with the SPUP such as the Hodouls, and therefore, cannot speak for them. However, since you asked me a direct question about my late Father's motives, unlike your evasive response, I will directly respond for my late Father because I am personally aware of what motivated him to do so much for the SPUP and why he broke away from the Judas, Rene.

My late Father fell out with the SPUP because Rene betrayed "Seychelles Pour Seychellois" - he betrayed the unity of the Seselwa Rasin people that had been carefully crafted and who all Rasin had agreed to support in order to make "Seychelles Pour Seychellois" on Independence day. Rene betrayed "Seychelles Pour Seychellois" when he brought in hundreds of foreign troops onto our soil to massacre Seselwa Rasin, my late Father objected to this betrayal. Rene betrayed "Seychelles Pour Seychellois" when he established a one party state dictatorship and exiled 30% of the Seselwa Rasin population and replaced them with Fabrike - my late Father objected to this betrayal. These are but just some of the reasons that my late Father fell out with Rene, and the concoction he derived called the SPPF, which Rene used to justify and support his dictatorship and the raping and pillaging of our country by him, his family and his cronies.

The betrayed thousands of Seselwa Rasin will now finish the job that my late Father and many others started in the 1960's in order to make Sesel Pou Seselwa. You Ti Kreol, if you are a patriot as you say, rather than just using the cloak of a patriot, should join us Rasin-ists to make Seychelles truly Sesel Pou Seselwa.

Gooday Francis Leonardo

One of our first fights was that BIOT give us back the four Islands that they wanted to keep for themselves. One of those Islands was no other than our now World Heritage listed Aldabra that the British wanted to give to the American to be turned as a Naval Base and the rest is History.

The British persisted and somehow, they managed to uproot the Ilois to be bannished in the slums of Port Louis because the money given to the Mauritian Government to re-locate them was banked/invested by the Mauritian Government and the interests they received from the 18 million pounds were shared by the small elitist that owns 80% of all of the Businesses in Mauritius to this day. The British then leased Diego Garcia to the Americans for 99 years in exchange for Trident Nuclear Submarines. To do that, the British had to buy back the Diego Garcia lease from a Seychellois by the name of Paul Moulinie. The British paid him 850 thousand pounds for the lease that he paid one rupee for.

Then Sir James sold his good friend Kashoogi that was an Arms Dealer...yes Francis...an arms dealer.

An to-day if the incumbent has made available an isolated plot that the American once used as a satelite Tracking Station for the peppercorn fee of one Rupee where it would be developed and to make it possible for His Royal Highness Sheikh Kalifa to enjoy his sejourns in Seychelles in peace and tranquility and most important of all his personal safety and wellbeing as a priority that is afforded to any Head of State and you Guys come and sully our impeccable reputation with your rants and raves and insults towards our very distinguished Guest in HRH Sheikh Kalifa!!!!!

Again, the Gills' concept of "Sesel pour Seselwa" a "Friend to all and Enemy to none" regardless of Race, Creed and Religion" leaves a lot to be desired and you are both a disgrace to your Country. I am sure that your late Father with his massive frame as he rides his Scooter with twin rear vision mirrors and his black rimmed spectacles behind the Pearly Gates would fall out if he knew what the two of you boys were up to.

Your late Dad knew very well that no one was above the Law in Seychelles then and no one is above the Law now. I did not him personally though we used to acknowledge each other at the Post Office Building Letter Boxes as with all other Moovers and Shakers, we all had that respect for all of us regardless on which side of politics one happened to be. Every one knew how to speak one's mind without offending anyone because in the final analysis, it was not a matter of what one said to whom but how one would say it. My hat is off to Sir James Mancham as I salute him for refusing to be part of Politics of Confrontation a la Ramkalawan. And now the Gill Brothers are starting the politics of "Rasinism" that is just a front for your Politics of Racism. Please redeem yourselves by starting to invest yourselves in Excellence. Also please heed what Papapapapatrick-X is saying and that is to stop talking and listen to what other people are trying to say to you and we will all be the wiser. Chow for now...Ti KLO

Helo again Francis,

Generativity simply means that I did, I do and I shall forever strive to do my best without fear or favour in exercising my democratic right to express my point of view and I do it not because I have to, but because I want to. Even the Great Legend in his own Lifetime FAR has acknowledged that many mistakes have been made in the past. You have to realise that like in any Political Parties, there are Factions and Factions within FActions. You have to realise that FAR has never been the real Power from within the SPUP-SPPF. One has to only listen to the 412 transcripts where Chow's Brother in Arms Gerard Hoareau give Mike Asher the Order to eliminate Ogilvy Berlouis because "Berlouis is the Power" and the Man pulling the strings was no other than Mr. Sunshine and Shadows.

FAR from the very begining was always a very Powerful Man for the Powerless. When the real Judas in the Persons that I have mentioned before were given their marching orders, FAR then became the Powerful Man with absolute Powers for the Powerless, and thus the decision to give all and sundry the challenge to come back to form their parties and thus the first Multi-Party Elections that you all got whippped by the SPPF.

Francis, please answer this simple question......why are you doing this?.....and I shall tell you why FAR had to do what he had to do in 1977 when he was Prime Minister... Leader of the Opposition.....and President of Seychelles all rolled up into One.

Look forward to read from you.TKLO

TKLO:

You raise a lot of important arguments and I will do my best to respond to them fully and sincerely.

Most Seselwa Rasin agree that the situation before independence was intolerable. You have outlined some of the many reasons why it was intolerable. But if your argument is that these intolerable conditions before independence justify the current equally or even more intolerable conditions - I respectfully and forcefully disagree. We fought against intolerable pre-independence conditions in order to make "Seychelles Pour Seychellois" not to create and to allow new ones to fester in our country.

While I confess I do not know the full details of the sale of the Diego Garcia in the Chagos Islands to Mr. Moulinie, if it is as you describe, then, that "sale" was wrong just as the "sale" to Khalifa is wrong now.

It is my opinion that the Chagos Islanders were treated shabbily and that our national sovereignty was trampled by the British when they left after having stripped Seychelles of its right to own the Chagos Islands. Those islands should be returned to Seychelles and any benefits derived from the lease of base facilities in Diego Garcia should accrue to Seychelles and not to the British. This is our patrimony. Moreover, it is also my opinion that these benefits should be distributed in substantial part to the Chagos Islanders and their ancestors themselves, since they were and are being denied the right to live on their home islands. It is also my opinion that all Chagos islanders who were moved to Mauritius by the British to wash their hands of the matter, should be given an absolute right to return to Seychelles their homeland - they too are Rasin. I ask you TKLO what has Rene or Michel done since independence to make right these injustices and what have they done to help recover our stolen national territory?

Also, what has Michel or Rene done to recover our national territory consisting of Gloriese Island from the French who occupied it in 1973 in anticipation of our independence? Have they even filed a proper claim to regain sovereignty over our stolen national territory?

Instead of correcting or attempting to correct these injustices they sell off more of our national territory to Khalifa and other foreigners and Fabrike for the price of SCR1 and the attendant bribes? And you defend this? How can you defend this? Then Khalifa who was "sold" land you apparently do not value, but which I and other Rasin value as part of our homeland, has the temerity to instruct the supposed president of our country even what arrival stamp we are allowed to use in our own country. And you defend this? How can you defend this? How can you defend the selling of our passports to all comers with a small bit of silver for a bribe allowing these individuals to claim full rights of a Seselwa Rasin whose ancestors are buried some 6 to a grave at Mont Fleuri. Do you defend this?

What did you mean when you fought for "Seychelles Pour Seychellis" in the 1960's and 1970's? Was it to allow our own people to sell us out to Fabrike and to foreigners? How can you defend the betrayal of your own people by some of your own people?

Leonard Francis Gill said...

TKO

While I agree with Mancham that we should strive to coexist peacefully in our country with all Rasin sharing in governing our country and sharing its patrimony, I do not agree that this should be a one way street. At present only Mr. Mancham is interested in reconciliation while the PP Collaborators use his desire to avoid confrontation to subjugate us Rasin, betray us, and sell us out. One sided reconciliation is capitulation not reconciliation. For non-confrontation to work, all sides must want it equally and participate in it equally.

We Rasin-ists will not stand for capitulation while our country is sold from right under our feet. If the PP Collaborators want reconciliation and non-confrontation then cancel all the Fabrike passports and cancel these fraudulent land sales and create an open and tolerant political atmosphere so all us Rasin can speak and associate freely on micro-radio stations and any other medium of our choice and freely and democratically elect and change our leaders. This is how we can avoid confrontation - by instituting justice and real democracy and by respecting the individual rights of each Rasin and reclaiming our country from the Fabrike and foreigners to whom the PP Collaborators have sold us out.

You also attempt to minimize the responsibility of Rene for all the crimes he perpetrated against the Seselwa Rasin people. But your explanation that Rene was somehow a puppet of other more power individuals in his dictatorship is simply incredible. It is an attempt to rewrite the facts that most Seselwa Rasin know. We Rasin know that Rene had the power even over life or death while he was dictator and still does to this day all while being above the law. Rene for instance as recently as the last few years is rumored to have murdered a Seselwa Rasin who had the audacity to have an illicit love affair with his young daughter. If this is true how can you defend a man with that kind of soul? What offended him so much about this young man? Was it his lack of formal eduction, his lack of family pedigree, his color? What?

Also, the communist idea that Rene yielded dictatorial power for the powerless is also a lie. Ask that young man whom Rene is supposed to have murdered if Rene held and still holds dictatorial power for his benefit. Ask his mother that same question. Ask his brother and his sisters that same question. Ask the scores of Seselwa Rasin who were murdered in their own sacred Rasin homeland by foreign Tanzanian troops that same question.

Rene used our poverty against us by pitting one Rasin against another so he could assume full dictatorial power, not to benefit us, but to enrich himself and his family. There is nothing that Rene has done to benefit us that he could not have done in a free and democratic system. He was after all Prime Minister when he betrayed our hard won Independence national unity.

Additionally, you say that Rasin-ism is racism. Yet what race have we excluded? What race have we include just because of their race? If race is not a criteria in any of our ideology you have made a mistake in concluding that Rasin-ism is racist or you do not fully understand Rasin-ism. And, since our definition of a Rasin is based on ancestry much like the Swiss, the Monegasques in Monaco and in Liechtenstein, to name a few, are you asserting their systems are racist too? No other group has reached such an absurd conclusion and neither has the United Nations who would have been expected to label these practices racist if they were indeed so.

We are sick and tired of being second or third class citizens in our own country - the time to make this right is now. It is time for the PP Collaborators to go and it is time to bring the Collaborator leaders to justice for their crimes against the Seselwa Rasin people.

You say that my late Father would be displeased if he knew what Christopher and I were doing in defining and advocating Rasin-ist ideology. You are wrong. We are in fact doing his bidding. We are finishing his work.

When my Father's internal organs were failing due to the ravages of his illness, and he knew before I was willing to accept it, that he was soon to die, he asked me to do several things for him. I have, to the best of my ability, complied with each of his requests. He also asked me to help Christopher, as best as I could, so we can have a better country where Seychellois do not have to live and die in exile, and a country where we are masters of our own land. Then, after his death, I saw my late Father's slogan of "Seychelles Pour Seychellois" that he used to recite to me when he would give me rides on his knee as a young boy, while I listened to SPUP leaders plot ways to achieve Independence. This slogan "Seychelles Pour Seychellois" was on my late Father's election poster where he was an SPUP candidate in the 1974 pre-independence election. I knew what needed to be done, and what I had to do to honor my Father. That is why I am doing this.

So I am doing this in my late Father's memory - I am doing his bidding. You have to understand that I am a very private individual and have not often voluntarily placed myself in the public eye. So my public involvement in the Rasin-ist movement does not come natural to me. Thus, as soon as my work is done and Sesel Pou Seselwa is within reach, I look forward to returning to my previous life of relative anonymity - I seek, nor do I expect, anything else.

For the time being though, my late Father is observing me and Christopher with his complete approval - we both are absolutely confident of that.

Are you so sure that your late father isn't shaking his head in despite and thinking 'what the hell are these boys doing?'?

I'm sorry, but all I can see is that you're both living in the past and trying to bring it back to the future. I hear the same thing when my elder relatives start raving on about 'lontan pei ti pli bon akoz mazambik ti kon zot plass'.

I won't say you're at that level, but you're trying to undo 30+ years of history, culture and mentality. I can assure you right here and now that you will fail in doing so. Our history has taken place as it did and although I do not justify the '77 coup I acknowledge the fact that it took place and that the proceeding years ruined the country in many ways under Rene, but nevertheless it happened and cannot be undone.

If you boys were promoting correction and putting the country on the right track you may stand a chance, but you simply want to undo history and bring your father back to life. What your father was promoting was what he felt was good for Seychelles then. Sorry to throw cold water in your face Francis, but this is now and Seychelles has had almost 40 years of development(good and bad) since. What we need is what's good for us now, not what ytour father thought was good for us then.

That is why I have advocated that you must start listening to others, especially those who disagree with you. Unfortunately you only listen to those who do and that itself is going to be your political doom.

Start listening and cooperating with everyone from the prezident to that vagabonb hanging around the post office all day whistling to every skirt that passes by or saying 'madanm ranmas ou pti poul, mon kok in large'. That good for nothing vagabond's vote could mean the difference between winning and losing. Never forget that.

Once more your logic is faulty. Sesel Pou Seselwa is timeless. This is not something that is good at any one time in our history to be betrayed and abandoned when it is convenient and profitable to do so as you PP Collaborators have done. It is never right to betray and sell out your country and your people as you PP Collaborators have done.

Your country is your motherland it is never right to sell her to the highest bidder as you advocate. It was not right to do it 40 years ago, it is not right to do it now, and it will not be right to do it in 40 or even 400 years from now. We Rasin-ist will never accept that you PP Collaborators have a right to sell out the Rasin homeland to Fabrike and foreigners. And we will be victorious in reclaiming her from you Collaborators and to bring you to justice for your crimes against your own people the Seselwa Rasin.

So Christopher and I are not living in the past. We are implementing a timeless ideology that will define and guide us in the future. Our vision for the future is that we will retake our country from you Collaborators and your Fabrike and foreign friends. That is our vision for the future. It is not our vision for the past. But we are inspired by those who sacrificed for a better Seychelles a Sesel Pou Seselwa over the last 40 years and we pay them homage to them and respect them for their ideals and for their sacrifices.

And yes I am absolutely sure that I am doing my late Father's work. Otherwise I would not do it.

Insofar as listening to Collaborators and people like you without personal honor, who refuse to apologize when caught lying and even after admiting it, because they think they are too good to do so, I say no thanks. You have no personal honor and therefore are fundamentally dishonest and as a result whatever you write cannot be trusted - you are fundamentally unreliable and insincere. I do not listen to salesman and propagandists like you and your president Michel. You are concerned only with your personal profit and will sell us Seselwa Rasin out every chance you get and attempt to make us like it for mere pieces of silver. So no, I do not listen to men like the two of you.

I listen to people who have personal honor and sincerity who have good intentions whether I agree with them or not, and especially if I do not agree with them. And if you have these qualities I do not care what you do, or who were your parents, or what is your job - I will listen to you and try to understand your point of view. You Patrick X are not in that category of people.

Gooday Francis Leonard Gill,

First and foremost young Man, is the fact that reconciliation took place when FAR invited Sir James and every one back as well as Ramkalawan and all others in Seychelles to form their Parties to contest the Multi-Parti Elections. Now if the combined losers of these Elections since have not reconciliated, kept dwelling in the past, carry on with politic confrontation and saboule ecetera la ke lera rose, what has this got to do with FAR and the Parti Lepep?. We had so many Parties that took part and we even witnessed Parti le Boeuf leur i ti desan en ville et fer letour lorlozz.

The two Key Words I was waiting for you to tell us why you are doing what you are doing are the two words "I Care" and these two magic words have always been used by FAR right from the very beginning. Your response Francis, highlights how you are at war with yourself and there is a need for you to grow up from within and start to love yourself and when you are full of love, you can afford to love others Mate. Please heed Patrick X's advice to move on and not to dwell in the past. You of all people should know that our current thoughts determine our to-morrow because todays dreams are to-morrow's necessities since yesterdays and all past dreams of your late Dad and mine are to-day's realities. In comparison and stark contrast to what you and Christopher have been and continue to advocate, JJ Spirits of Reflecting the Past and Redifining the Future; Re-Examining; Respecting; Rewarding; Re-Adjusting; Koste-ing; Konpran-ing; Konsulting are the Bearings of Parti Le Pep's Moral Compass.

So What are your Points of Difference Leonardo Gill?. Please excuse my political in-correctness when I say that the Seselwa will tell you and the Parties advocating "Rasin-ism" to go and get Rooted. And whilst we are at it, it might be wise to ask around how did the late Seychellois Icons like Harry Savy - Fregate -, Paul Moulinie Farqhaurt and Chagos - , Andre Delhomme - Coetivy -, Louis Beaufond - North Island - to name a few got their Lease from Her Royal Highness's Governors residing at the now State House and forever hold your peace Francis.

Patrick X said that "Rene ruined the country in many ways", but fails to pinpoint where, how or in what ways. FAR has on a number of accasions stated publicly on his Stateo of the Nation addresses that "Yes, we have made a few mistakes' and yes, we expanded too fast." Where all the monies and other Foreign Aids have been spent by the FAR Administrations, we can all see with our naked eyes where the monies have been spent. Seriously Patrick-X!!!. Please substantiate your allegations.

TKLO:

I agree that when it appeared Rene would reestablish multi-party elections in Seychelles in 1991, most Seselwa Rasin were hopeful that there would be genuine reconciliation and a rejection by Rene of his betrayal of Sesel Pou Seselwa on June 5th 1977. We Seselwa Rasin were sadly disappointed. What we saw was more manipulations and betrayals by Rene and his understudy Michel, many of which continue to this day.

For instance, take the Constitutional provision which requires the establishment of the independence of state funded media. That Constitutional requirement was immediately ignored by Rene and is now being ignored by Michel. To the contrary Michel now uses the state funded media, he agreed should be independent, as his personal propaganda machine. You can also see this bad faith in the fraudulent and Fabrike voters that the JJ Spirit of Betrayal and the PP Collaborators have installed on the Electoral Register, and which they appear to have conspired with Gappy to keep secret from all Seselwa Rasin with only limited distribution to political parties. Why should the Electoral Register be kept secret from the Seselwa Rasin public except to hide wrongdoing? How difficult is it to electronically publish the list and allow anyone to contest fraudulent or Fabrike voters on the List? The sanctity of this Electoral Register is at the core of a free and fair election. It should be exposed to the disinfection of daylight.

This partial list of betrayal of Sesel Pou Seselwa can go on and on. But in the end, what most of us Seselwa Rasin, who are not on the PP Collaborator payroll know, is that the multi-party declaration by Rene was simply one more maneuver by Rene to avoid being overthrown and to avoid being brought to justice for his crimes against the Seselwa Rasin people, and especially for the Great Suffering he inflicted on the Rasin by exiling 30% of the Rasin population and replacing them with more pliant Fabrike who would more likely do his bidding allowing him to continue to rape and pillage the Rasin motherland.

Rene knew that with the fall of the Berlin Wall and his communist sponsors it was only a matter of time before it was his turn. Being the manipulative, conniving and deceptive person that he is, he calculated that he had a better chance of survival by playing to the new chorus of democracy, which was being sung on the world stage at the time.

Rene knew that we Seselwa Rasin wanted reconciliation and peace. He knew we Seselwa Rasin wanted our freedom back. Rene knew we Seselwa Rasin wanted genuine democracy back in the Seselwa Rasin homeland. Rene systematically manipulated these desires to allow him to stay in power and to allow him and his family to continue to rape and pillage the Seselwa Rasin motherland - and that he has done and is continuing to do to this day. This is not ancient history, this is present day reality.

This partial history of betrayal is the history of SPPF/PP Collaborator betrayal of us Seselwa Rasin. You may say how is Seselw Pou Seselwa being betrayed today so that Sesel Pou Seselwa is important today in our lives now? And that is a fair question.

The sale of La Miser to Khalifa for SCR 1 happened in the not too distant past. Fabrike are being given passports and are allowed to call themselves Seychellois even now. So while history instructs us about the prior betrayals and it instructs us of who we are dealing with when we deal with the PP Collaborators, Rasin-ism is more concerned about the future - a future of Sesel Pou Seselwa.

Leonard Francis Gill said...

Cont. Resp. to TKLO:

We Rasin-ists know that those who ignore the lessons of history are condemned to repeat it, so we are students of history to avoid repeating it, we also know that we must have a vision of a better future for us to elevate all Seselwa Rasin from their current condition. So we want a future Sesel Pou Seselwa where the likes of Khalifa cannot come to our country and tell our leaders what visitor entry stamp we are allowed to use in our own country the Seselwa Rasin motherland. We want a future where the likes of Khalifa cannot bring in 2000 "workers" without our government even knowing they are even in the Seselwa Rasin motherland. We want a future where all Seselwa Rasin and foreigners are treated equally before the law. We want a future where we Seselwa Rasin are not policed in our own country by foreigners. We want a Sesel Pou Seselwa where Rasin are given priority for civil service jobs. We want a Sesel Pou Seselwa where we Rasin are not taxed so that foreigners and Fabrike can be given tax concessions in order to subsidize bribes to PP Collaborators. We want a future Sesel Pou Seselwa where all Rasin, wherever they are, can vote in the motherland. We want a future where Fabrike are not given houses while Rasin go without. These are some of the many things we want in the future and which is part of the Sesel Pou Seselwa that my late Father envisioned in 1964, and which Rene sweet talked us into believing he wanted too.

So while we respect the sacrifices made by those who came before us to obtain Sesel Pou Seselwa, and we study the betrayals of Sesel Pou Sesewa by Rene, Michel and all the other PP Collaborators, we live not to correct the past but to make a better future where we will truly have Sesel Pou Seselwa.

You have recited a whole list of individuals who may have engaged in questionable land transactions before Independence. If those transactions are as you say they were, they were wrong and unjust. These transactions were some of the reasons that my late Father fought for independence. It was the reason that may other Seselwa Rasin fought for independence. But, these past wrongs do not justify the new ones that the JJ Sprint of Betrayal and the PP Collaborators are continuing to gleefully inflict on us Seselwa Rasin and which they expect us to accept as if they are Christmas gifts.

You say I am at war with myself and should learn to love myself before I can speak on these important issues. I love myself and I love my life very much, and I have had a more luxurious and self-indulgent life than most men - in fact this is the first time someone has accused me of not loving myself enough - usually the criticisms have been that I love myself too much, and have focused too much on my personal enjoyment and not enough on promoting the general good. So I am mildly amused by that comment. Let's just say I love Sesel Pou Seselwa very deeply. I inherited this from my late Father. Furthermore, I am not one to whisper sweet nothings in anyone's ear such as banalities like "I Care" as you say Rene is fond of whispering to the Seselwa Rasin people. I am not a salesman like Rene. I am not a propagandist like Rene. I am direct. I say what I mean and I mean what I say. You can derive my emotional commitment from what I say and do. Rene on the other hand is a deceitful manipulator who will say and do anything to get what he wants - he has no permanent ideals, no permanent principles, no permanent friends only permanent greed and self-interest.

So while I do care deeply about Sesel Pou Seselwa it is not in my character to parade this affection before the Seselwa Rasin people in an attempt to manipulate them - they either see that I care or they do not. And I will say and do what I feel is right not what I believe the Seselwa Rasin people want to hear.

Leonard Francis Gill said...

Further Cont. Ans. to TKLO:

Finally, you call me a young man. That means you are older than I am and I therefore must extend you due respect especially since you appear to have known my late Father. But I can surmise in between the lines of your comment that you have many regrets but you lack the personal honesty to admit that many of these regrets could have been avoided by sticking to the basic principles of Sesel Pou Seselwa.

Are you just an old man whose mistakes are embedded in your soul and which you cannot separate from who you are, so you must defend them even though you know, deep down, they were and are wrong? Take this challenge and ask yourself an honest question and give yourself an honest answer, and you need not inform anyone else of the honest answer that comes - are you really against Sesel Pou Seselwa?

To Francis Gill,

The Man that you so describe as a "Dictator" has been in fact one hell of a Dedactor since he formed the SPUP. The Man saw the great picture and knew what exactly what he was looking for. I was pissed-off with him because he wanted me to develop my potential to the full for he wanted me to find out things for myself. You see Francis, because at that young age, I did not really know what I was looking for and because I did not know what I was looking for, I would even walked in/through it and still could not find what I was looking for. As a result, FAR's dedactings made me special in one way, and by the same token, my character turned me into one hell of a Radical as far as injustices are concerned.

You have to realise Francis, that words we use must have meaning. How many times have we heard far say that "actions speak lounder than words?." That in itself is a big difference with your statement that "you mean what you say and say what you mean" Mate. A classic example is your "meaning" and interpretation of SPUP's catch-cry "Sesel pour Seselwa" and turned such legendary three-words into Racism overtones.

Further-more, the Legend in his own Lifetime is a Friend to everybody and a Friend of nobody. FAR has never betrayed any-body. Those nobodies that he has picked up and made into somebodies that in the end have betrayed him and the SPUP causes would have been shot if I was Rene. Instead FAR had the heart to forgive them. And that forgiveness was even extended to Paul Chow among others.

Last but not least Francis, I shall tell you of my only regret and the final straw that made me pack up my bags to head to the Land Down Under at the age of 17 and a half years young in 1969. This is the best Country on earth and my dream is to see a direct Shipping/Air Trade route with the Seychelles and for as many Seychellois as possible to come and settle here. And by the way, Root Advocates/Dealers are not welcomed..ha ha ha ha!!!!.

Regards Ti Kreole Lay O

Leonard Francis Gill said...

Ti Kreole;

Your last comment was simply incoherent, disjointed and the ramblings of an old man. Such an approach is not constructive.

You did however make several points that require an answer.

You say Rene never betrayed anybody. Do you expect any Rasin to believe that? The most obvious betrayal was when he betrayed his own government. He laid in wait in Sans Souci and convinced other Rasin to do his bidding in Victoria on June 5th 1977. Rene betrayed those men he sent them to take the country while he waited safely at home and by not going with them, reserving his opportunity to reject them if the whole thing went wrong - this betrayal was a true mark of Rene's character and a true mark of a coward. Rene waited at his house appropriately named Exile for the coming Great Suffering of exile he inflicted on 30% of the Rasin population many of whom had supported him and whom he had betrayed. He betrayed the SPUP slogan of "Seychelles Pour Seychellois" when he brought hundreds of Tanzanian troops to the sacred shores of the Seselwa Rasin motherland to massacre Seselwa Rasin who did not agree with his dictatorship. This list can go on almost indefinitely. Yet you say Rene never betrayed anybody? It would be easier to ask who and what has he not betrayed? You would have a much shorter list.

Then you say we Rasin-ists have turned the famous SPUP catchphrase of "Sesel Pou Seselwa" into a racist idea. First, let me remind you that this was my late Father's principle that was incorporated into the SPUP when he, Rene and Loizeau founded the party. Secondly, how is our current advocacy of Sesel Pou Seselwa different than that advocated by those 3 founders from 1964 to 1977 that makes our current version racist and the old one not racist?

I have asked you before which race is persecuted by our ideology and you ignore the question and shout back the same empty accusation of racism. So answer the question - which race is persecuted by Rasin-ism?

Lastly, Rene stole and subjugated our country. Anyone he assisted, he assisted by using state resources. These resources did not belong to him. They belonged to us Seselwa Rasin. We owe him no gratitude for using our own resources to assist any individual Rasin. These resources were not his in the first place and belonged to us Seselwa Rasin in the first instance.

To give back what you stole in the first place is not generous. No one who received anything from Rene's dictatorship owes him anything, not even a smile.

Moreover, just the fact that you believe that Rene could have shot so may Seselwa Rasin and give him credit for not doing so tells the whole story, and undermines your main point that Rene was a good man. A good man would not have spilled so much Rasin blood and caused so much Rasin suffering to obtain this absolute power. He would have respected our individual and democratic rights.

So Chow owes Rene no gratitude for sparing his life. Rene, on the other hand, owes Chow and the thousands of other Rasin who feared for their lives under his dictatorship an apology for placing them in fear of losing their lives in the first place.

We Seselwa Rasin have a right to be free from fear because of our political beliefs. No Seselwa Rsin should live in fear they will be shot by their leaders for speaking their minds or for wanting democracy and freedom. This is the lesson we Seselwa Rasin must teach Rene and other PP Collaborators.

To Leonardo,

And where was George W Bush when the Americans did his bidding by using the Chagos Base to bomb tens of thousands of innocent Iraqi Citizens in their own Country by using the so called "weapons of mass distruction" as an excuse to justify the Invasion of Iraq?.

Being old is all in the mind Francis. However, it is you who is doing all the ramblings here with your promucation of fiction in the 'guise of facts that can only be described as "Murder by Language" Mate.

What do you think would have happened to the late Edmond Camille now for what he did by smuggling explosives on British Airways from London to Mahe?.

What happens to Terrorist in this day and age?.

What do you think would have happened to the late Gerard Hoareau and Paul Chow if the CIA had overheard them giving the orders to another terrorist in Mike Asher to eliminate Bush's Secretary of Defence.

And by the way Leonardo, you are yet to tell us "when did the first Coup d'tat took place in the Seychelles. As a hint, the Pirates were using Seychelles for it's abundance of fresh water...fish....and fine timber to repair their ships and was under the Leadership of Queaux de Quincy.

And who was it that said she was "tricked into bringing remote control detonators" and had to ask for forgiveness from the Seychellois Public live on Radio Seychelles?.

And as for you Francis and Chris, you can thank your Guardian Angel FAR that nothing un-toward has happened to both of you in the way you have continue insulting and accusing FAR of being something that he is not. And the same goes to Jean-Francois Ferari and Wavel Ramkalawan. One made coffee that night and the father of the other one "fabricated" Zom Lib from the ground up all by himself I am told.

And what was Sir James involvement than Rene forgave....?....yes of course....Sir James was on the phone to the King of Morocco asking for so-called Seychellois "Exiles" to be train in Morocco to retake Seychelles.

Ohhhh...and before I forget Leonardo. You mentioned 30% of the population was "exiled" by Rene. Now now now, can Christopher put on star - in the same manner as he has put the Coq and the Chicken - a copy of the document that said a particular person or persons have been deported into exile?.

Thanking you in advance. TKLO

TKLO:

Thank you for your response.

However, I must say, describing your comments as ramblings was in fact generous and was intended to provoke a more disciplined response - apparently the effort did not work. It is in fact more accurate to describe your comments as the incoherent rantings of an old man with old disjointed irrelevant ideas.

And I do not say that to be mean, I say it to excuse my inability to fully comprehend your arguemnts and therefore to competently respond to them. Perhaps you feel the same way about my writings but we shall let the readers decide whose comments are more coherent and responsive.

Nevertheless, let me try to comprehend what you are saying and try to respond as best as I can. You asked me a rhetorical question which I paraphrase: Where was George W Bush when Diego Garcia was being used to bomb innocent civilians in Iraq you asked? I say what does this have to do with the price of tea in China - in other words who cares where Bush was? What does that question have to do with Rene betraying us and selling us out? I do not mean to be disrespectful to an old man but if I missed your point please clarify, and I can respond in a more intelligent fashion.

You mentioned Edmond Camille, Paul Chow, Jimmy Mancham and someone else perhaps Carlette Toll who were engaged in actions that can be construed as preparations to violently reverse the one party state dictatorship imposed by Rene and his foreign Tanzanian troops that he brought to sacred Seselwa Rasin soil to murder Seselwa Rasin in their homeland. Your point seems to be that these individuals should have been more harshly treared since they were attempting to violently overthrow the one party state dictatorship that Rene imposed.

As a matter of principle, when Rene imposed a one party state dictatorship and provided Seselwa Rasin no way to peacefully change their government, it was the duty of every Seselwa Rasin to use any and all means necessary and available to restore liberty to their homeland. So I do not fault any of the individuals you mentioned for attempting to restore democracy to their homeland, if that is what they were attempting to achieve. I only regret that they did not suceed and in some cases paid with their lives for their efforts.

On a side note, I was never aware of Mancham's efforts to train Seselwa Rasin in Morrocco to restore democracy in Seychelles. If he in fact did as you say, he has acquired on this day more of my respect for his efforts. If we Seselwa Rasin are subjugated, we must all use all our might and all our resources to restore our liberty and to restore Sesel Pou Seselwa. We must never allow any individual or group to abuse our individual dignity, our democratic rights and our right to own and control Seychelles as Rene did.

I therefore categorically reject your position that once Rene imposed his one party state dictatorship, we Seselwa Rasin were obliged simply to accept this condition of subjugation and betrayal as our final and permanent condition and fate.

Leonard Francis Gill said...

Cont. Ans. to TKLO:

Additionally I, nor Christopher, consider Rene to be our guardian angel nor do we thank him for sparing our lives. Our lives should not have been his or his goons to take in the first place.

No Seselwa Rasin should ever be in fear for his or her life simply because they oppose dictatorship or simply because they say things that anyone in power dislikes. We should be free to speak our minds any way we like - just like we are all allowed to do so on this blog.

However, what you have written tells us much about Rene and about the kind of body politic he installed in Seychelles that still currently exists to this day under the PP Collaborators. This body politic is one of violence and intimidation. That is the legacy of Rene. He has taught his PP Collaborator students to use force and bullets to intimidate, to torture, to murder anyone who challenges their hold on power.

So no TKLO, I do not thank Rene for anything. If anything he owes Christopher an apology for putting his life at risk and for putting him in fear of being murdered because of his political beliefs. No Seselwa Rasin should ever again be put in that position in their own homeland.

Leonard Francis Gill said...

Cont. Ans. to TKLO:

You say Rene did not have a written order to exile 30% of the Seselwa Rasin population and that it was a mere coincidence that they left Seychelles, their motherland, within two years of Rene's power grab. I say you are being disingenuous or deceitful. You do not have to have a deportation order to exile individuals when you arrest and imprison people without charge and departure and exile is their only option to indefinite imprisonment without charge. You do not have to give people a deportation order when you steal all their property and harass and intimidate them until they leave into exile. You do not have to have a deportation order when you implement security clearance policies that lock people out of their jobs and their children from bursars and any other possibility of prospering. The machinations and schemes that Rene used to deport all who disagreed with him, and replace them with pliant Fabrike, was only limited by his devious and deceitful character.

And, Rene knew enough as the Nazi's did in implementing the final solution against the Jewish people not to write compulsory deportation orders. But Rene's devious and cruel mind also knew that he could make life so intolerable for his opponents that exile was their only option.

The evidence is clear, Rene was responsible for the great exodus of the Seselwa Rasin people, he was responsible for this Great Suffering of the Seselwa Rasin people and he will be held responsible throughout our history for this crime against the Seselwa Rasin people.

In the final analysis, your apologies for Rene's crimes do not stand. When all is said and done, Rene will be best remembered as Rene the Butcher who butchered his own Seselwa Rasin people by using foreigners to do it on the saced soil of their motherland.

Rene the Butcher will be remembered as the one Seselwa Rasin who has inflicted more suffering on the Seselwa Rasin people than any other single Seselwa Rasin in our history - let's hope no other Seselwa Rasin ever comes close to matching Rene the Butcher's sordid blood stained record.

TKLO says that FAR did what he had to do when asked why was he doing this and his answers always was and I quote: "I care for the Seychellois".

FAR who has always invested in excellence did not have to answer he did this and he did that because of this or because of that in the fashion a la Gill Brothers where mediocrity is their norm and excellence the exception.

My pertinent question as a result that History keeps repeating itself is "when and who were responsible for Seychelles' first Coup D'tat where a French Governor was appointed Governor of Seychelles by the British. It is an important event that is comparable to what happened on the 5th of June 77 when on this occasion, the Head of State was Prime Minister, Leader of the Opposition and President at the same time.

What I fought for in the sixties to answer Francis was, and still is, Sesel pou Seselwa. I never in my wildest dream ever imagined that I would be fighting tooth an nail in defending our magic catchcry three worders that has now been hijacked by the Gill Brothers and turning the Slogan Sesel pou Seselwa into not only racist overtones, but into the mother of all sins, DISCRIMINATION.

Leonardo asks which Race is being persecuted when it is plain to see that the King of Abu Dhabi, The Australian Tax Commissioner, the Australian Customs who he claims is turning a blind eye to all that are in transit to the La Misere site and yet had the odacity to bust Volcere who broke the Seychelles Law by failing to declare one extra litre of Wine, and the Irish running the Police and of course, the French running PUC.

Gill even complained and insults the King for requesting that the Coco de Mer Stamp are not to be used on Muslim Passports as they are offensive to their religious beliefs. The Sheikh Khalifa has never requested that the same Coco de Mer stamp not be used on Non Muslim Passports!!!

Was it not the SNP Stalwart Bernard Georges wo negotiated Sheikh Khalifa's perpercorn fee of one rupee for the same 27 acres plus the Souvenir and Helvetian Sites that the Americans negotiated with Whitehalls' Governor of the day in the early sixties?.

Last but not least to answer the Gills is the fact that "the State Resources that Albert Rene used" are all accounted for. Everything is in black and white such as how much was paid to anything that needed to be done. To the accusations by all and sundry that FAR "filled his pockets", I say that is not FAR's Style because the Man has too much Class.

TKLO says Chow for now....

TKLO clarifies that the American negotiated La Misere, Souvenir and Helvetia for one Rupee with Whitehall and the deal was hush hush. And the first leakage of diesel from a busted Generator that flowed into the catchment area affected only the Mission. There were just a handful of Residents and they had their own water supply. That was hush hush too.

TKLO:

To suggest that the events of June 5th 1977, when Rene the Butcher betrayed the Seselwa Rasin people, is somehow comparable to the De Quincy capitulation is to say the least a bit of a stretch and obviously patently absurd. This is typical Rene the Butcher creativity. No one believes the De Quincy capitulation was a coup, and even if it was, it is irrelevant to the events of June 5th 1977 where Rene the Butcher betrayed the Seselwa Rasin people.

You say Rene the Butcher does not want to answer to us Gill Brothers for his crimes, but what you really mean is Rene the Butcher will not answer to the Seselwa Rasin people because he still is and believes he is dictator and above the law.

I have breaking news for Rene the Butcher. Whether he answer to the Seselwa Rasin people or not, he will be and is being judged in the court of public opinion by the Seselwa Rasin people as I write this. This is happening now on this one and only free and open forum where anyone and everyone can comment freely and without intimidation - something Rene the Butcher fought hard to prevent and feared the most.

So Rene the Bucher will answer and he will do so through his proxies like you TIKLO. This is the first time Rene the Butcher is answering directly to the seselwa Rasin for his crimes in an open and free forum. So Rene the Butcher should get use to answering to his people for his crimes - this is only just the beginning of this process.

Cont. Ans. to TIKLO:

You say you fought for Sesel Pou Seselwa in the 60's because you wanted Khalifa to tell us that we should not put a coco de mer on Muslim passports in our own country? How is that Sesel Pou Seselwa when any foreigner can tell us what entry stamp to use in our own country especially when it is our national symbol? You say you fought for Sesel Pou Seselwa in the 60's so that Australians can police our customs? How is that Sesel Pou Seselwa? You say you fought for Sesel Pou Seselwa in the 60,s so that Irish can become policemen policing Seselwa Rasin in our own homeland? How is that Sesel Pou Seselwa?

Additionally, you apparently do not understand what exactly is racism. It is not racism when you want to control your own country like the Swiss the Monegasques or even the Emiratees where Khalifa comes from. He does not allow foreigners to tell him what morality should reign in his country but you do not call him racist. Why?

Racism is when you discriminate against someone because of their race. We do not want Irish in our police force not because they are white or any other color. We do not want Irishmen policing Seselwa Rasin because it is not their country. It is the Seselwa Rasin homeland and Irishmen, British, Americans, Chinese or any other nationality of any color have no right to police us Seselwa Rasin in our own country - this is Sesel Pou Seselwa. The same goes for our tax collections, customs and anywhere else in our government where a Seselwa Rasin can do the job.

What you never imagined on June 5th 1977 when Rene the Butcher betrayed the Seselwa Rasin people is that one day Rene the Butcher would be brought to account for his betrayal and his crimes against the Seselwa Rasin people. Now your nightmare is becoming your reality - Sesel Pou Seselwa will become a reality rather than a slogan in your mind and we Seselwa Rasin will bring Rene the Butcher to justice for his crimes against the Seelwa Rasin people.

And, if Rene the Butcher or his goons murder Christopher or me, as you intimated in your previous comment, there will be others to take our place and finish what we started.

Cont. Ans. to TIKLO:

As far as Rene the Butcher filling his pockets you need only look at the mansion he constructed in Barbarons to know that he appears, in my mind, to have spent more on his house then he appears to have earned in all his government service - if not let the Seselwa Rasin see the full expenses Rene the Butcher expended on constructing and improving his house and let us seselwa Rasin and Google Earth fully see and display his mansion.

After constructing his mansion in Barbaron, Rene the Butcher then appears to have informed Google Earth that his house was a sensitive military site requiring Google to blur the view of his mansion so that no Seselwa Rasin could see the luxury in which Rene the Butcher lives at their expense by viewing his house on Google Earth.

Rene the Butcher is rumored to have an even grander mansion in Australia which he holds under a straw man - if that is true, where did the money come from? If this rumor is true why is Rene the Butcher hiding the ownership of the mansion in Australia?

Moreover, you need only look at the sale of his personal residence at San Souci to the Government of Seychelles for SCR3m and leasing it back for 99 years for SCR1 to, in my mind, smell the whiff of corruption. The list of what appears, in my mind, to be corrupt transactions can go on and on. Only a full public and independent audit of state finances can fully disclose the true state of the treasury under the PP Collaborators rule and the full extent that it has been pillaged.

Insofar as blaming Bernard Georges for selling La Miser for SCR1, this is just a smokescreen. It was not Georges who had the authority to sign the deeds. This was done by Michel. It was not Georges who allowed Khalifa to bring in 2,000 workers unbeknown to the Government of Seychelles.

While I agree that Georges should have been more careful than to participate in this transaction in any way, to try to place the blame on his shoulders for this crime against the Seselwa Rsin people just because he may have prepared the sale documents is just more blame shifting by the PP Collaborators to mask their guilt for this serious crime against the Seselwa Rasin people.

To Anonymous who said that the Americans did this or that to us Seselwa Rasin before Independence.

Are you implying that because you say the Americans inflicted harm on us Seselwa Rasin before Independence, now the PP Collaborators have the right to do the same or worse? Is this your point?

I have heard this argument made by several PP Collaborators who argue: "The British did it here or there or the Americans did it here or there so we can do the same thing or worse." Did we not fight for independence so we would not have to suffer these wrongs inflicted on us? How is it that all those who inflicted harm on us Seselwa Rasin are now the teachers of the PP Collaborators instructing them on the extent of the most devious behavior the PP Collaborators can inflict on us?

Let me make one thing clear PP Collaborators - our past tormentors are not our teachers and should not be your teachers. We want a good a decent country where no one can inflict harm on us Seselwa Rasin without legal retribution. We do not want British, Americans or PP Collaborators or anyone else to sell our land to the likes of Khalifa or any other foreigner for SCR1 - period.

We want Sesel Pou Seselwa and we do not excuse your PP Collaborator betrayals now just because you say we should be used to being abused because betrayal has been inflicted on us many times before by others - we say to you it is time to stop betraying us and it is time to stop it now.

To Leon France Gill,

There are so many things that you do not know and as suggested, you should stop your rhetoric and try and listen to what others are saying to you. You can start by attacking the issues and not the Man FAR. Why are you playing the Man instead of the ball?. If you do not get the part where I asked "Where was George W Bush when the Coalition of the willing did his "bidding" in Iraq," then you ou pe jouer kouyon or you are pli kouyon that I originally thought. When you cannot answer a straight forward question as to "who is paying the wages of the Australians" at the Customs and Tax Office, you say that "it is irrelevant who is paying their wages."

FAR the Dedactor taught this writer how to think. He did not try to tell me what, when and where to think. If you think you know FAR, you are mistaken because to know FAR, one has to think like FAR.

The first person to betray the SPUP cause was a very colourful character by the name of Finlay Rosalie. At the Post Office where your father, Sir James, FAR and all the movers and shakers and ofcourse the odd Donneur Grenn, Mr, Rosalie as a Founding Member of the SPUP opened a letter that was addressed to France Albert Rene to inform him that the SPUP has been accepted as a Member of the OAU - the Organisation of the African Union - . Rosalie waved the letter in air and informed everyone present that FAR was a Communist. Rosalie was booted out and he formed his own Party and whilst the ElectionPlatform of the SDP was Independence with Intergration with Britain and SPUP wanting a Republic, Mr. Rosalie's Party campaigned "we do not want Independence". The record would show that only one person voted for Mr. Rosalie. He must have voted for himself.

Chris Gill stood for elections and won Bel Ombre on Sir James Mancham's Ticket. Chris then made faux jenpa......errhhhhh..faux pas after faux pas and now you have the odacity to say that "FAR should apologise for putting Chris' life in danger of being murdered?. You need a reality check big time Leonard because you keep writing crappolas Mate. The Judges, Juries and Executioners have given FAR the Card Blanche over and over and over again and with the passing of the La Bar, the Jj Spirits have kept that tradition whilst in the background, a pair of nobodies by the name of Christopher and Leonard Francis Gill keep on insulting not only or X and present Head of State and other Heads of our different infrastructures, you insult our Foreign Friends at every opportunity masquerading as a true Patriot?.

As a result of our perception of things, you now accuse moi of being a proxy of PL and FAR. Koi,
FAR in mange ou bondieu?. Maybe ou pe commence Toke foutou.

To whom it may concern: Seychellois for Seychellois decisions are still being taken by the Seychellois Mr. Gill. The President JAM has a mandate to do what he dbloody well wants to do and there is nothing you can do about it. We have great faith in Jj for it can be guaranteed that JJ will always do the right thing regardless. Sheikh Khalifa requests and Jam approves. The French and the British and the Americans and the Indians and Chinese among others request....JJ authorizes and approves. Ki ou problem Gill?. Ou le ki JAM i demande ou permission first?. Bez en la paix dan ou lekor donc.

Yeah!!! from what you are saying, Rene got paid with la kok pistas. And Mr. Ramkalawan must have been paid also with la kok pistas too in the way you begrudge and are green with envy with their abodes that to you are big big big and accuses them of being corrupt and stealing form the State's coffers as far as your evil and wicked little mind are concerned.

Georges negotiated La Misere on behalf of Sheikh Khalifa and the President who happens to be the Leader of Sesel pou Seselwa signed the deeds. Ki ou problem Mr. Vindictive?.

Anonymous said...

TKLO continues.... Nobody is blaming MR. Georges for negotiating on behalf of Sheikh Khalifa and the President of the Sesl pou Seselwa and he signed the deeds. Ki ou problem Mr. Vindictive?. That is how our Colonial Masters did Business when dealing with Foreign Investor and we shall continue to do so regardless if the Investors happens to be British, French, American, Chinese, Russians, Indians, Australians..to name a few, and there is nothing you can do about it....until such time the Judge, Jury and Executioner that happens to be the Voters of Seychelles says otherwise at the next Elections. I hope to enlighten you soon in showing what exactly cause the downfall of K O de Quincy and Sir James Mancham. And by the way Leonardo, protocol demands that you address the First President of Seychelles as Sir James and not Jimmy even though he was never elected President in an election by the people of Seychelles. Sir James Coalition Government would have been Democratic if only the Late Finlay Rosalie was made Leader of the Opposition even though he only received one solitary vote. And that election was not based on the 25 Districts but based on Mahe and Out-lying Islands.

Leonard Francis Gill said...

TIKLO:

You should calm yourself down and make sensible and coherent arguments. Instead, you are foaming at the mouth just because I, a nobody, have had the audacity to challenge your misplaced views of how things are and should be, in the Seselwa Rasin homeland - Seychelles.

I will once again try and decipher your ramblings, and organize them into some coherent disciplined structure, so I can address in a disciplined coherent unemotional manner each of the many points you made, or at least attempted to make. I suggest you strive to achieve more discipline and coherence as well so that we can elevate our discourse to a higher level for the benefit of all participants.

You say I must know what you meant when I asked you what does W Bush's location when Iraq was bombed have to do with anything? Since your question of where Bush was could have so many meanings, and perhaps because I am not as intelligent as you are, I once more ask you to explain your argument or point so I can respond. I do not see how hiding your point behind smoke and mirrors, just to be cute, does anyone any good. If you have a point to make just make it, so we can all evaluate it in plain air and address it plainly. Why all the games and manipulation?

Do you not know how to be straightforward having perpetually lead a deceitful life? So rise to the occasion. Tell me plainly what you mean and I will try to respond as honestly and as plainly as I have been. Unlike you I do not deal in innuendo and half baked hidden meanings. Unlike you I do not consider it a mark of intelligence to make arguments in riddles wrapped inside enigmas.

You say I am playing the man and not the ball. I take it to mean that my criticisms of Rene the Butcher is playing the man and not the ball. I disagree. Rene the Butcher is the ball. Rene the Butcher has been at the center of Seselwa Rasin hardship and suffering for three and a half decades. The system of persecution, of intimidation, of fundamental government dishonesty and the many failings of the present system that allows the PP Collaborators to betray us Seselwa Rasin was put in place by Rene the Butcher. You have simply misunderstood Rene the Buthcer's central roles in our body politic that encourages a climate of violence and intimidation and a culture of corruption and impunity if you think Rene the Butcher is not the ball in Seychellois politics. So I am very much playing the ball. You TIKLO, want me to play a ball that is not in the game. I instead want to play the ball that is in the game. In this discourse, Rene the Butcher is the ball in the game.

You complain why Christopher and I both believe it is irrelevant who pays the Australian customs agents policing us Seselwa Rasin in our own country. You imply it is relevant but do not say why. I on the other hand will tell you why it is irrelevant who pays the Australians. It is irrelevant because no matter who pays the Australians no foregner should police Seselwa Rasin in their own country. So no Australian or any other foreigner should be allowed to search a Seselwa Rasin in his or her motherland for any reason. This is our country. It is not Australia. The Australians can police their own people in Australia and we can police our own people in our own homeland. So if the Australians want to contribute to our expertise to police ourselves they can provide us with consultants that they pay who can teach and advise Seselwa Rasin to police our own customs, or they can contribute to our customs budget and we can hire Seselwa Rasin to police ourselves in our own country. If they do not want to play by these rules they can keep their money - we Seselwa Rasin would rather do without their money and keep our country to ourselves instead. This is Sesel Pou Seselwa.

Leonard Francis Gill said...

Cont. Ans. to TKLO:

Insofar as your point that Mr. Rosalie was the first to betray the SPUP because he called Rene the Butcher a communist, I will say this. I do not know whether Mr. Rosalie betrayed the SPUP, but I do know that he came close to the mark when he accused Rene the Butcher of being a communist. If more people had listed to him, including Jimmy Mancham, Rene the Butcher may have been tried for treason instead of being provided an opportunity to bring in foreign troops onto sacred Seselwa Rasin soil to butcher Seselwa Rasin who only loved their liberty. Also, I would add to Mr. Rosalie's statement that Rene the Butcher only pretended to be a communist since that was the best way for him to get support from communists governments to subjugate us Seselwa Rasin and rape and pillage Seychelles our motherland. When communism went out of fashion, so did Rene the Butcher's affection for communism died. One thing is certain about Rene the Butcher, he has no permanent ideology except self interest and greed. So Mr. Rosalie was half right.

Leonard Francis Gill said...

Cont. Ans. to TIKLO:

You say that Rene the Butcher was given carte blanche. I say by whom - Mr. AK47 perhaps? Rene the Butcher stole absolute power, used that power to cause foreigners to murder untold numbers of Seselwa Rasin and raped and pillaged our motherland. Yes I do believe that Rene the Butcher believed he had carte blanche, as you say, to engage in all these unspeakable acts of horror against the Seselwa Rasin people.

But we Seselwa Rasin know we never consented to these crimes being committed against us. That is why nobodies like myself and Christopher, and thousands of other Seselwa Rasin nobodies, are going to remove the PP Collaborators from power and bring them and Rene the Butcher to justice for their crimes. You TIKLO and your friend and puppet master Rene the Butcher, may desire to kill Christopher and me, and that is why you do not believe that Rene the Butcher should apologize to Christopher for threatening his life, but there will be others, even more dedicated than us to take out place and complete the job.

So there is no escape at this point, there is now only accountability on the horizon - so prepare yourself, your days of carte blanche are over.

You say Michel can do whatever he pleases and he too has carte blanche like Rene the Butcher. You say that any foreigner need only ask Michel and the JJ Spirit of Betrayal for whatever they want and he can grant them whatever he wants and there is nothing I can do about it or any other Rasin can do about it. You are wrong TIKLO, there is a lot we can do about it. We individual Seselwa Rasin will politicize and organize ourselves into a revolutionary force, and if necessary, we will have a true revolution in our homeland. Our revolution will bring the PP Collaborators and Rene the Butcher to justice for their crimes against the Seselwa Rasin people.

So we are doing something about the PP Collaborators' crimes and their betrayals and their selling us Seselwa Rasin out to the highest foreign bidder, and we will bring them to justice for their crimes. But your pure arrogance and impunity does not surprise me. You appear to be a man with little conscience who believes anything you can get away with is right to do.

Leonard Francis Gill said...

Cont. Ans to TIKLO:

You, at your late age in life, are being taught a valuable lesson right here on this blog before the entire world to see, and from nobodies like me and other Seselwa Rasin - that lesson is accountability and responsibility for your crimes.

You say I am vindictive because I want justice for Seselwa Rasin - I am guilty as charged. All who challenge Seselwa Rasin control over Seychelles and who betray Seselwa Rasin interests as Rene the Butcher and Michel have done I am very vindictive towards them until they stop and apologize and request forgiveness for their crimes.

You say that selling the Seselwa Rasi nhomeland is the way our colonial masters did business so that fact justifies you PP Collaboratrs selling out our country at SCR1 each plus bribes to any willing foreigner. I agree that this is how you PP Collaboratrs do business but I disagree that it is right to betray and sell out your own people for a few pieces of silver. We fought for indipendence so we would not do business the way our colonial masters did. While you PP Collaborators use the example of our former colonial masters as an example to follow we Rasinists say that those examples are what we should not follow.

Get this point into your mind TIKLO - Seychelles is not for sale and you or your PP Collaborator friends cannot sell it, and, whatever you do to sell it and betray it, we will reverse what you do and bring you to justice for your crimes.

You say I am envious because Rene the Butcher has a big house with tennis courts, swimming pool etc. I say this. I have never envied a man or woman their sucess. I would like every Seselwa Rasin to have a house like Rene the Butcher. That swhould be the goal of every Rasin-ist governemtn. I do not have any problems with a Seselwa Rasin aming a success of themselves and enjoying that success tot he fullest. I do however strongly object to any Seychelles government official engaging in corrupt practices to generate substantial corrupt wealth and then benefiting from that wealth and using all means, fair and foul, to hid his or her ill gotten gains. In my mind at least, Rene the Butcher falls into the latter category. So you have not unsurprisingly mistaken my principles against betraying Seselwa Rasin for envy.

Finally, you say I should refer to Jimmy Mancham as Sir James. I disagree. We Seselwa Rasin are citizens of Seychelles. We Seselwa Rasin do not have a King or a Queen. As citizens and not subjects we have no sovereign and we do not answer to any sovereigns knights, so no in our country no one is a knight and no one should be referd to as Sir. By the same token no one should be referred to as Lord or Lordship in our courts. All these titles connected tot he Crown are vestiges of colonialism and we Seselwa Rasin reject them. It is either Jimmy Mancham, which I consider a term of endearment, or Mr. Mancham or Former President Mancham in more formal settings. For Rene it is simply Rene the Butcher nothing more nothing less.

To Leonardo Francisco gill,

I am so disappointed Francisco because I was in the process of instructing JAM of the need to create this new Position and appoint you as the Seychelles Anti Crime and Coruption Commissioner.

But unfortunately that will not be possible in the short term because the more we read about your rants and raves, your accusations and character assasinations of our Seychellois Icons, we can see how shallow an individual you are. I hope that you can redeem yourself by attacking the issues at hand and refrain from insulting. If you have lost the plot, please cry out for "revolutions" at your own peril because it will simply not happen in my lifetime or yours for that matter.

I shall move onby asking why do you think leases for the outlying Islands were given to our Seychellois ikons in the likes of Harry Savy, Paul Moulinie, Andre Delhomme, Louis Beaufond, Temooljee and others?.

You say without engaging your brain before you put your mouth into gear that those leases should never have been negotiated and it was wrong for our colonial Masters to have done so and you intend as a result of your "revolution" to recind those leases and send the Foreigners packing!!!. Now Francisco, are you aware or has it ever crossed your mind that the above Seychellois Ikons were not only Business Men but they represented the Private Sector that created jobs for hundreds of locals in just about every Sector of our then small economy?. The Americans as I have said before that you refuse to ackowledge, negotiated La Misere, Souvenir and Helvetia for one Rupee and we are not denying the fact that they did employed hundreds of Seychellois including Security Guards that prevented me from intering the gate without Authority and I had to respect that and it was no big deal.

The Seychelles Government to this day are leasing to wealthy foreing Investors and the only ones selling land in Seychelles are Seychellois themselves that have inherited lands and properties from the fore-fathers.

What is wrong with having a Dream Leonardo Francisco Gill?......Who was that smart Man again who Dedacted to me "if you don't have a Dream Ti Kreol Leo, how can you expect your Dream to come true?." And that Man was 25 years ahead of his time. TIKLO:

I thank you for considering recommending an appointment for me by the Michel Collaborator government. However, no thank you.

I will never work for a Collaborator government in any capacity and do not need recommendations of an old man who is barely coherent in his reasoning, and who relies on his undisciplined emotions and insults to make his point. Your writings evidences that you are a border line lunatic whose recomendations would in any way do more harm than good. So thanks, but, no thanks.

You say there will not be a revolution in Seychelles in your lifetime or mine. I do not know what your age is but I would guess about 76 years old and perhaps it will not be in your lifetime, as your lifetime is close to its expiry date. However, it is likely to be in my lifetime. We Seselwa Rasin will see to that.

Insofar as the leases of our islands for SCR1. I have said before that I am not aware of the complete details of those transactions and rely on your descriptions of them to make my qualified conclusions. You implied that those transactions were inside deals done without the benefit of a public bid on the leases. If those leases were in fact inside deals not open to the general public to put in better competing bids at a higher price than they were wrong. Just like the leases for SCR1 Rene the Butcher's family obtained on numerous properties and islands. They are simply wrong and corrupt transactions that must be reversed by a Rasin-ist government. The Seselwa homeland is not Rene the Butcher's to do with it what he wants. The Seselwa Rasin motherland is the patrimony of all Seselwa Rasin and cannot be disrespected and pillaged as Rene the Butcher and his extended family have done.

I never concluded that Americans inflicted harm on us but said that if they did that they should not be our teachers. You PP Collaborators use the questionable dealings of our colonial masters as examples to follow. I say those questionable dealings that have inflicted harm on our country should be examples of what we should not follow. We did not replace the British colonial masters simply to replace them with the Collaborators like Rene the Butcher and Michel.

You must get one thing clear TIKLO. Our country is not for sale to foreigners and to Fabrike. And it is nobodies like me and other Seselwa Rasin who will bring you PP Collaborators to account for betraying us and selling us out to your foreign friends and your Fabrike friends whom you have place on our electoral roles so you Collaborators can continue to steal elections.

This is the end of your self proclaimed carte blanche. It is time to be judged and punished for your crimes against the Seselwa Rasin people.

Jean-Batiste Queaux de Quincy was the first man ever in the history of mankind to became the Governor of both France and England as a result of his arrogance when the then British Admiral got him to sign over the Sovereign of France to Britain in a bloodless coup D'tat.

Meanwhile, prior to the 5th of June 1977, Sir James Mancham arrogance in not calling for Elections that were due, was prevented from coming back to Seychelles from the Commonwealth Head of State held in England by France Albert Rene who was the Leader of the Opposition; the Prime Minister and acting President at the same time and thus a unique position that is yet to be repeated in the world.

Can any one guess what K O De Quincy said to the Admiral that brought about his downfall?.

Can anyone guess what JRM said to France Albert Rene and what his Cronnies were planning to do so that Sir James could become President for Life like Jomo Kenyata?.

Does any one know what would have happened if Sir James Cohorts had succeeded in making Sir James President for Life?. Let this be a challenge to you Francis Leonardo

Sorry to disappoint but you sound so much like the guy who stole all our money and went to Australia to buy a mango and sheep farm to retire.
Your invocation of the past shows that you are full if shit! You want to dig up the past to try and justify all the ills that the SPPF and head butcher Rene caused to post independence Seychelles.
Ounn perdi rezon mon vye frer!
All you can argue now is 'what if' this 'what if' that... What is has never happened!! Get real! It is not reality. It is all in the mind.
What we are all talking about here are facts, things that HAVE HAPPENED! There is no denying the facts. Only the perpetrators will risk their lives to try and defend these facts as it is so damming and incriminating.
Enjoy your retirement in Western Australia mate as you are totally disconnected with the realities of Sesel Ozordi...LOL

TIKLO:

You are correct. You did say that you left Seychelles at the age of seventeen in 1969. As a result I apologize to you for overlooking what you wrote on this issue.

If you are in your late 50's as you say, you will live to see a true revolution in Seychelles that brings you Collaborators to justice for your crimes against the Seselwa Rasin people.

Insofar as your argument that De Quincy's feigned or pretended capitulation to the British was some kind of a coup, you are mistaken. De Quincy always owed his allegiance to France and feigned capitulation to serve his true allegiance to France.

Rene the Butcher owed and proclaimed his allegiance to us Seselwa Rasin, and still does. But, Rene the Butcher did and continues to feign or pretend allegiance to us Seselwa Rasin when his true allegiance is to himself only. Unlike De Quincy's heroic acts, Rene the Butcher overthrew a Seselwa Rasin government to which he feigned or pretended allegiance in order to establish a one party state dictatorship solely to serve himself and not the Seselwa Rasin people he claimed to serve.

Therefore, De Quincy was a French hero and patriot for what he did, while Rene the Butcher was a betrayer of and traitor to the Seselwa Rasin people for what he did.

Leonard Francis Gill said...

Cont. Ans. to TIKLO:

You attempt to justify Rene the Butcher's rape and pillage of the Seselwa Rasin motherland, and his brutal dictatorship, by arguing Rene the Butcher made a preemptive strike against Mancham who wanted to establish a dictatorship in Seychelles. This argument strikes me as contrived or manufactured to excuse or justify Rene the Butcher's brutal reign of terror over his own people.

In the first instance, I have never seen any evidence that Mancham intended to establish a dictatorship in Seychelles in 1977. I have never seen or been told of any steps that Mancham may have taken to establish a dictatorship in Seychelles. If you have such evidence, or any details of Mancham's alleged plans, put it forward, so we can all review it here on this blog in a free, open and uncensored atmosphere. That way all of us can reach our own conclusions on the historical accuracy of these allegations.

However, even giving your positon the benefit of the doubt and just assuming, for the sake of this discussion, that Mancham was indeed making plans to establish a dictatorship in Seychelles, would that fact have justified what Rene the Butcher did in response? I say that the answer is obviously no.

So, even if Rene the Butcher had detailed and credible evidence that Mancham was preparing to establish a dictatorship in Seychelles, Rene the Butcher was not justified in overthrowing his own government, bringing foreign Tanzanian and other foreign troop onto our sacred motherland Seychelles's soil to massacre Seselwa Rasin in their motherland. Rene the Butcher would still not have been justified in murdering his political opponents and critics. Rene the Butcher would not have been justified in exiling or causing to be exiled 30% of the Seselwa Rasin population and replacing them with more compliant and pliant Fabrike. Rene the Butcher would not have been justified in looting and pillaging the Seselwa Rasin motherland.

In short, Rene the Butcher would still not have been justified in establishing his brutal dictatorship even if Mancham was planning to make himself president for life.

Your response, which I can already hear is, what was Rene supposed to do then? I say if Rene the Butcher had such credible evidence of an effort by Mancham to establish himself as Predient for Life, Rene the Butcher, who was Prime Minister at the time, should have made this information public. He should have demanded an independent inquiry and prosocution of Mancham for his alleged subversion of the newly established constituional democracy under the unity government and banner of "Seychelles Pour Seychellois".

Rene the Buthcer should then, absent a satsfactory response from Mr. Mancham, left his government and demanded an election and contested a free and fair vote with that new information of an impending dictatorship placed before all the Seselwa Rasin people to judge for themselves, who was best qualified to lead them into the future. If these peaceful efforts failed, or were subverted by violence or electoral fraud, Rene the Butcher then would have been justified in calling for a revolution to re-establish our democracy.

In summary, Rene the Butcher should have invoked the power and supremacy of the rule of law over every person in the Seselwa Rasin homeland to defend our democracy. He should not have used this alleged effort by Mancham in order to establish his own dictatorship presumably to prevent Mancham from becoming a dictator.

Thus, we Seselwa Rasin categorically reject Rene the Butcher's argument that he needed to establish a brutal dictatorship in or to prevent one from being established. We say Rene had a duty and obligation to preserve Seselwa Rasin interests by preserving our democracy and to preserve the paramount rule of law in our homeland; that was Rene the Butcher's first obligation just like it was De Quincy's to be loyal to France first.

TIKREOLAID O congratulates Francis Leonardo for a very solid contribution this exciting debate, but sadly loses a lot of points by refering Rene and "Rene the Butcher."

And for once your are 100% correct Francis in saying that KO de Quincy owed his allegiance to France. But the fact still remains that as a result of his sheer stupidity, and blinded by his absolute commitment, obligation and loyalty to France and Seychelles second, KO succeeded in signing over Seychelles from France to Britain.

Another example of KO's Kouyonite was when he sent a runner by the name of A Payet all the way to Anse Royale with specific instructions to burn Jardin du Roi because early that morning, bougla en ler lo haut laba Montagne Signal raised a British Flag that in those days indicated that a British ship was slowly approaching our magnificent natural harbout that in them days allowed the ships to come very close to moor only a few hundred metres from Mahe that today would be the location of Marine Charter. By the time K O realised his stuff up that it was in fact a French ship that came in flying a British Flag, a desperate de Quincy sent another runner by the name of A Gilleon to try and catch up with Payet but it was too late for Jardin du Roi was already in flames.

Anonymous said...

How did K O De Quincy got it so wrong is beyond comprehension. Had he followed protocol, Seychelles would still have been under the French and who knows maybe we could have ended up being another French Overseas Department.

We have to remember that the Trade Routes to Europe and the Far East were all happening and of course Pirates of all Nationalities were hiding in Seychelles' waters where had had the best timbers to repair their ships.....fresh fish and turtles and tortoise to suppliment their diet and of couse our sweet sweet fresh water. One glorious morning, three British Battle Ships that were patroling and protecting the Sea Lanes from Pirates sailed into Victoria Harbour and ankored in the deeper waters around Hodoul Island and Marine Charter. The Admiral sent his General and other Officers to go see Jean Baptiste Queau de Quincy to pay his respects and to ask His Excellency the Governor if he would be kind enough to supply his Ships with provisions so that they could carry on with their voyage. The Admiral followed Protocol to the letter and of course the proverbial shit hit the fan when de Quincy stood up and yelled at a loud voice to the General and his Men and I quote: "Fack you...you go and tell your Admiral that he is getting nothing what so ever because France and Britain are at War." The General in shock got his men to row back on board and told the Admiral what had happened. The Admiral for his part decided to pay K O a visit personally and when he greeted K O, the Admiral said and I quote: "Did I hear from my General correctly that your Excellency has refused His Majesty the King's request for fresh water and provissions?" to which de Quincy retorted once again....."that's right Englishman you heard it right." At that point in time, the Admiral turned to Jean Baptiste in a calm, cool and collected manner and calmly said and I quote: As from this point on your Excellency, we are taking over the Islands and the rest is History.

TIKLO....continues... Sir James Mancham's Cohorts were going to make Sir James President for Life Democratically by a show of hand Francis. You of all people including your late father would have been pissed-off due to the fact that the SDP had 15 seats from 51 percent of the votes and SPUP had only 5 votes from 49 percent of the votes in the Assembly. The motion would have been proposed and the motion seconded and passed in the General Assemble by a show of 15 hands for and 5 hands against. AS a result, it would have been a violation of our First Constitution of the First Republic that clearly states that "the people of Seychelles should be able to vote for the Leader of their choice every three years and in By-Elections whenever the case applies." Now Francis, how can the people of Seychelles vote for the Leader of their choice if you have been made President for Life?. Parliamentary Elections would have been held every three years but no Presidential Elections held.

This is the same situation that happened in 1974 when the Greek Military Government put pressure on the late Arch Bishop Makarios in Cyprus to rid the Turkish Cypriot Vice-President and replace him with a Greek Cypriot. To do so would have been also a violation of Cyprus' Constitution that specified that a Greek Cypriot as President and a Turkish President as Vice-President. The Turkish Mainland Intelligence got hold of the plot and thus invaded Cyprus and the rest as they say Francis, is HisStory. We can see clearly how FAR outsmarted Sir James Mancham's Cohorts and useless hangers ons in the same way the Turks outsmarted the Greek Military Goverment.

And before I forget Francis, could you enlighten us as to what exactly happened to Chris Gill when he challenged Sir James as the Leader of the Opposition at the SDP's first ever Convention?.

Leonard Francis Gill said...

TIKLO:

While one can debate whether De Quincey was smart or dumb, what is uncontested is that he never intentionally betrayed France. Everything De Quincey did, he did in the service of his loyalty to France.

The same cannot be said of Rene the Butcher. Everything Rene the Butcher did, and has done, has been in the service of Rene the Butcher's personal aggrandizement and enrichment and to service his and his family's general personal interests. Rene the Butcher, in contrast to De Quincey, has never served the loyalty he professed to the Seselwa Rasin people.

What is clear is that even if De Quincey may have been stupid, he never intentionally betrayed his own people as Rene the Butcher has repeatedly done.

You say that my late Father, Christopher, and I, did not and would not currently approve of Mancham controlling 15 out of 20 members of the Assembly with only 51% of the vote. You are right, just like we disapprove of the SPPF/PP Collaborators currently gerrymandering the districts to do the same thing now to control more than 2/3's of the Assembly with a slight majority bolstered by Fabrike and fraudulent votes.

We Rasin-ists want a fair and open democracy not one manipulated by anyone simply to preserve their power, so they can sell us out to Fabrike and foreigners.

In 1977 Rene the Butcher should have sought to amend the Constitution to prevent this gerrymandering by Mancham by using legal means as we Rasin-ists are doing now. If those efforts did not succeed then Rene the Butcher should have taken only such action as was necessary to establish a more representative democracy in the Rasin homeland rather than imposing a brutal dictatorship on his own people.

You say that Rene the Butcher's betrayal of the Seselwa Rasin people on June 5th 1977 was equivalent to a preemptive strike that the Turks launched against the Creek Cypriots. So therefore you argue, Rene the Butcher's betrayal of us Seselwa Rasin on June 5th was a smart move.

I disagree that what Rene the Butcher did on June 5th 1977 was in any way comparable to efforts by the Turks supposedly to protect their Greek Cypriot countrymen. What the Turks did, they did to protect their countrymen, not to betray them as Rene the Butcher did on June 5th 1977. The Turks did not establish a brutal dictatorship over their own people to enrich themselves as Rene the Buther did on June 5th.

If Rene the Butcher was a true patriot and truly loved his people and their freedom, he would have exposed Mancham's alleged intended betrayal of our democracy and thereby he would have strengthened our democracy and our independence. He would not have betrayed us Seselwa Rasin and brought foreign troops onto sacred Seselwa Rasin soil to murder us and to sell us out to foreigners and Fabrike.

If Rene the Butcher had moved to protect our democracy and strengthen our sovereignty and paid a heavy price for his efforts, he would have been known as a Great Seychellois Patriot rather than the Butcher that he is.

In the final analysis, nothing that occurred before June 5th 1977 justifies what Rene the Butcher did on June 5th 1977 and thereafter. What Rene the Butcher did were crimes against the Seselwa Rasin people - his own people. For this reason he must be brought to justice for the crimes he has committed and he must take responsibility for the crimes that he has made possible by the PP Collaborators which are ongoing to this day in our motherland.

RENE'S REPLICA OF LENIN'S THEORY OF SOCIALISM imposed on us by the barrel of gun in 1977 ,has bitten the dust.

But,the pendulum rigid socialism invariably has swung to its opposite extreme namely ;totalitarianism.

let me illustrate an example.

For instance, the liberty which is maintained,is in reality a unspacious kind of liberty.True it is liberty ,but for some only.It is not the liberty of opportunity for all as SPPF proclaims.

Actually,it confers new advantages to the already strongly entrenched in power;let alone their diciples and cronies to the likes of TIKLO and Co.

Consequently,a small minority in the country enjoys absolute freedom while the great mass of the populace is subjected to what is equivalent to TYRANNY.

This condition is aggravated by the fact that in a purely totalitarian government,as that of SPPF,the only abuse of liberty is that which manifestes itself in pecadilloes and other physical acts and voilence.

On the over hand under such diabolic system, contracts in which deception, trickery or the threat of moral violence play a part are;for all purposes allowed to stand.

Not at all praiseworth TIKLO!

All in all, such a system must sooner than later be corrected by all means not excluding the use of force.

Francis Gill said and I quote: "if Rene was a true Patriot and truly loved his people and their freedom, he would have exposed Mancham's attempted betrayal of our Democracy and thereby he would have strengthened our Democracy and Independence" end of quote.

You see Francis, that is easier said than than and like I have told you before, Rene was never the Power eventhough he authorised the Coup d'tat as the Prime Minister, Leader of the Opposition and the Acting President. How could "Rene sought to amend the Constitution" when Sir James as the Chief Minister had already threathened to lock up FAR unless FAR intervened and difused the SPUP supporters from demonstating and rioting in 1974 as a result of the unjust election results where Sir James SDP had 15 Seats with 52% of the votes and FAR's SPUP had only 5 seats from 48% of the votes.

And by the way Francis, Sir James' proposed Motion to become President for life was to be moved by no other than Annette Georges's Dad in the person of Jean-Baptiste Emmanual Moulinie. Mathew Servina was to be the signatory as Seconder to the Motion. Just a word of advice Francis as you engage yourself in your "Rasism" head first, remind yourself that you should always stay clear of anybody by the name of Jean-Baptiste as your undoing will be a matter of factly.

Leonard Francis Gill said...

TIKLO:

You say that it would have been more difficult than I imagine for Rene the Butcher to have exposed and confronted the alleged efforts by Mancham to have himself declared President for Life. You imply that it was easier for Rene the Butcher to have imposed his brutal dictatorship.

There is a certain selfishness in that position that proves my point that Rene the Butcher imposed his brutal dictatorship not for the benefit of the Seselwa Rasin people, but to benefit himself and his family at the expense of the Seselwa Rasin.

You say it was easier for Rene the Butcher to establish his brutal dictatorship than to defend democracy. I ask you, easier for whom? It certainly was not easier for all the Seselwa Rasin who were massacred by foreigners in their homeland, it was not easier for all those Rasin who were exiled by the Butcher or those Rasin who were forced to endure decades of dictatorship, it was not easier for all those Rasin who were tortured by the Butcher and whose properties were expropriated without due process of law by the Butcher, and it was not easier for all those imprisoned without charge by Rene the Butcher, and it certainly was not easier on our national treasury which had to endure pillaging and gross mismanagement and illicit expenditures by the Butcher and his gang.

So easier for whom I ask again? The only person who could say it was easier to establish a brutal dictatorship than to fight against alleged impending tyranny in favor of democracy was Rene the Butcher himself. So only Rene the Butcher himself could argue that it was easier for him to establish a brutal dictatorship to rape and pillage our country than it would have been for him to fight against his perceived impending tyranny to be imposed by Mancham.

So TIKLO you have inadvertently proved my point. Rene the Buthcher imposed his brutal dictatorship on us Rasin because it was easier for him to rape and pillage our country, not because it was the best course of action and in the best interests of us Seselwa Rasin.

You say that Mancham threatened to imprison Rene the Butcher for protesting the injustice of the gerrymandering of the 1974 election, which allowed Mancham to control 2/3's of the Assembly while receiving only 52% of the vote. I say Rene the Butcher should have stuck by his principles, like we Rasin-ists are doing now, and gone to prison in defense of Rasin democracy and liberty instead of imprisoning others without charge, and instead of establishing his brutal dictatorship. Perhaps this course of action would have been more difficult for Rene but it would have been in the best interests of us Rasin and it would have been far easier for us.

If Mancham had not accommodated reasonable requests by Rene the Butcher to make our electoral system more fair, where one person equaled one vote, and instead used brutal means to enforce that unfairness, Rene the Butcher would then have been justified in using all means necessary, not to establish a brutal dictatorship, but to establish a more perfect Rasin democracy.

This type of an effort would have been the mark of a true Great Rasin Patriot and today we would not be justified, or be taken seriously, if we called Rene a Butcher that he is. The Butcher would instead would be considered a friend of democracy and a true Great Seselwa Rasin Patriot and revered by generations of Rasin to come. Instead, the name Rene the Butcher will echo in eternity throughout our history as the Seselwa Rasin who has inflicted the largest amount of suffering than any other Rasin on his own people.

The Butcher and his memory will be reviled and scorned, rather than praised and honored, because it was easier for him to become a brutal dictator than to stand up for and defend Rasin democracy and liberty.

Leonard Francis Gill said...

Cont Ans. to TIKLO:

On another note TIKLO. I am very interested in knowing the full details of the intended parliamentary motion to have Mancham declared President for Life. When was it to be made? How was it to be enforced if it was unconstitutional? Do you have any documents or testimony presented on this issue? In my opinion it is a very important part of our history that should be fully documented. I ask you the same thing about any threats made by Mancham to imprison the Butcher in 1974. Was it a written threat, how was it made, when was it made and exactly what was said?

We Rasin need to establish a full historical record of these facts for the benefit of our posterity, since these stated facts seem to have provided the Butcher with his contrived excuses for the subsequent betrayal and bloodshed on June 5th 1977 and thereafter.

Though in my humble initial opinion, the Butcher intended to become dictator and looked for excuses to justify this intended course of action and did not take his actions simply to remedy injustice and to establish a more perfect democracy. The Butcher did not in my opinion take his course of action as a result of these perceived threats to his personal status and freedom as you suggest, he simply wanted and needed to be dictator and needed excuses to justify his actions.

As I have stated before, it made no sense for the Butcher to establish a brutal dictatorship backed by excuses that he did so because he feared that Mancham would beat him to it and expect us to believe he did so in our best interests. In the Butcher's mind he beat Mancham to the punch and he believes that was smart - but he cannot expect us to believe and accept that his dictatorship was imposed to benefit us Seselwa Rasin. It appears to me at this juncture that all the Butcher's justifications and arguments for his dictatorship prove that the Butcher did what he did simply and purely for selfish reasons.

However, a full historical record will allow all future Seselwa Rasin to decide these issues for themselves, and therefore we need to establish a such a record to allow our future generations to make their free and independent judgments on this subject.

You also make an interesting comment that needs to be further explored. You wrote that the Butcher “authorized” the June 5th Coup. Are you implying that the Butcher did not plan and carry out the Coup? Why did you say authorized rather than conducted the Coup? It is commonly held knowledge and belief and generally well accepted that Rene the Butcher was the chief architect of the June 5th Coup. Are you saying we are wrong on this point?

Did the Tanzanian government instigate the planning of the Coup and provided the initial training for those who carried it out?

To Francis Leonard Gill,

All that you ask are documented. The draft motion was found in Sir James first drawer of his Desk at State House and signed by Jean Baptiste Emmanuel Moulinie and the dotted line that remained to be signed was to be that of Mathew Servina the then Assistamt Secretary-General of SPUP and Member of the General Assembly.

As to the other point in regards to the threat of Prison by Sir James I can get you to ask the other very important Person who was present at that meeting and was so bloody pissed-off that he personally conducted the Coup D'tat.

You see Francis, I was going to continue by informing this forum how Sir James not only betrayed the Seychellois People, but he managed to betray one fine SDP Stalward from Praslin, the late Stanley Preira. Mr. Preira stedfastly opposed to Seychelles becoming a Republic. When Sir James changed his tune with his poppycock statement that "Independence has been forced on us," Mr. Preira who had stayed in London for a few more days suffered a masssive cerebral haemorrhage and died.

I will not participate on this blog until such time you Francis, dessist from refering to FAR as "Rene the Butcher." I do not find it only vile and distasteful, but also resentful.

Good Luck for the future and kind regards from TIKLO from Down Under on Ninety Mile Beach in Western Australia.

Leonard Francis Gill said...

TIKLO:

I thank you for answering some of the questions I posed to you. I find the answers very informative.

If anyone has the motion to make Mancham President for Life, or a copy of it, I would very much like to see it, and you can email it to me at seselwarasin@gmail.com or just mail a copy of it anonymously to: Leonard Francis Gill, Anse Takamaka, Praslin. This piece of our history is important for all of us now and for those of us to come in the future, and it should be posted on the internet and preserved.

TIKLO, you say that on the motion to appoint Mancham as President for Life was an unsigned area for Mathew Servina was expected to sign it. Mathew Servina was an SPUP cadre. How did Mancham expect Sevina to sign the motion to make him President for Life without acceptance of the Motion by Rene? Did Rene agree to this effort by Mancham to make Mancham President for Life, or at least pretended to agree to give Mancham false confidence in Rene's acquiescence to Mancham's leadership? Having Servina's name on the Motion implies that Mancham expected to obtain Rene's assent to the move to make him President for Life.

TIKLO, I take it that at the meeting with Mancham and Rene, when Mancham supposedly threatened to arrest Rene, Ogilvy Berlouis was present? Did Ogilvy agree to personally conduct the Coup right after the meeting? Was the Coup suggested by Tanzania and "authorized" by Rene as you previously suggested and now seem to confirm by the fact that Ogilvy had to agree to personally carry it out, suggesting Ogilvy had the option not to personally carry out the Coup, and therefore, could not have been one of the main planners of the Coup and was simply a participant? What about Tanzania's participation? You did not answer my last inquiry – is that because you do not know, or is it because you prefer to keep this information confidential to your grave?

Additionally, while I very much appreciate the important bits of history you have provided us, it appears to me that if what you say is correct, Rene the Butcher and Mancham were two people competing with each other to see who would be first to impose a dictatorship on us Seselwa Rasin with neither having our democratic development and liberty at heart. If true, that simply makes both Mancham and Rene the Butcher's actions wrong and damaging to us Rasin, but it still does not justify Rene’s brutal dictatorship.

And it must be understood that Mancham’s alleged actions to establish a dictatorship, at this point in our history, must be viewed as a mere possibility with, according to TIKLO, some corroborating evidence of Mancham’s intentions to establish such a dictatorship. While Rene’s brutal dictatorship we know to be an actual historical fact that would not in any event have been justified by Mancham’s alleged intentions to establish himself as President for Life as TIKLO suggests. I and the other readers would like to hear Mancham’s point of view about the allegations made by TIKLO.

Additionally, you state that Mancham betrayed his supporters by agreeing to independence. I understand how it would have been difficult for Mancham to convince his supporters to proceed to independence under the SPUP banner of "Seychelles Pour Seychellois" given their previous opposition to independence. Under these circumstances would it not have been an act of supreme political courage for Mancham to accept independence under the banner of "Seychelles Pour Seychellois" which we know was in the best interest of us Seselwa Rasin? I am sincerely curious to know why you think otherwise.

Leonard Francis Gill said...

Cont. Ans. to TIKLO:

Finally, this is a free and open blog where anyone can write their opinion about anything. That opinion is equally open to be contested by anyone presenting alternative facts and opinions. We do not censor each others right to present their open point of view here. Therefore, I reject your effort to impose censorship on me or anyone who participates on this blog by threatening to withhold your participation if this or that is said or not said. This is a classic PP Collaborator approach that will not stand here, and it is therefore categorically rejected and refused.

In the final analysis, Rene was and is a butcher who butchered his own people so he could obtain and keep absolute political power - for what? So he could have a few more Rupees in his pocket? So he could have a few more of his orders unquestionably obeyed? What was worth butchering and subjugating his own people? What was worth allowing his country to be pillaged so that we are bankrupt even now? Even the word butcher is too kind to Rene for the misdeeds he inflicted on his own people. So no, I will not stop referring to Rene as a butcher - that is what he is, and that is what he will be called - Rene the Butcher.

I do however sympathize with your hurt feelings that your friend Rene is being maligned by being referred to as a butcher of his own people. So I do not take this decision to continue to speak of Rene as a butcher in our exchanges lightly. But the wrongs Rene inflicted on us Seselwa Rasin must be given a higher level of concern by me than your personal objections, though your personal feelings are not insignificant to me. Any other treatment for Rene would be historically inaccurate and would be a betrayal by me of all those Seselwa Rasin that Rene butchered to satisfy his personal greed for power and wealth.

So, while you are welcome to continue to participate on this blog as you have done, you will not be allowed to dictate the terms of your participation. You can participate on the same terms as me, Christopher or anyone else, or you can chose to stay away - your free choice.

However, while I strongly disagree with your some of your positions and will continue to contest them vehemently, if you decide not to continue to participate, I will personally miss your contributions very much, therefore, I would personally like to see your continued participation and ask you to continue to do so.

I disagree that your request was a simple request, otherwise I would have willingly complied, since I value your opinion, even if I strongly disagree with it.

You want me to call Mr. Mancham, Sir. I will not call anyone Sir in Seychelles the Rasin homeland. The Rasin homeland is a Republic. All individuals are equal citizens of the state. We have no Royal Sovereign. So, to call any Seselwa Rasin Sir, Lord or Lordship in our country is to impliedly accept the influence of a foreign sovereign over us Seselwa Rasin in our homeland. I will not do that, so I will not call Jimmy Mancham Sir.

Secondly, I have explained my position on Rene the Butcher.

So I disagree that your requests were simple in any way.

Finally, you are welcome to participate like everyone else.

MICHEL ,term in office has not been epoch-making as predicted by SPPF, but nothing less than a collection of masquerades.

He has not brought the change promised,he has only served to deplete MORALITY of the mass.

One of Michel's weaknesses is the lack of faith in his own people and in the power of truth.

Consequently, this seized up his ability ot metamorphose himself from a manical communist fanatic inspired by fear in to a realist inspired by the will and wishes of the people he served.

A leader with such a pathos of disillusion is not apt to any alteration in conduct. It is mentally too taxing and on an ideological viewpoint to demanding and risky.Psychologically is the idea of salvation or perishing.

It would be naive to believe that the real change we are entreated would come from SPPF.In fact, we should better pluck up our courage and do the job ourselves.Keeping in mind that the implementation of of a democratic government within a non-democratic state is typically brought about by democratic revolution.

I am curious which blogging and site-building platform you might be
using? I'm new to running a blog and have been thinking about using the Ning platform. Do you consider this is a good platform to start with? I would be extremely thankful if I could ask you some questions through e-mail so I can learn a bit more prior to getting started. When you have some free time, please make sure to get in touch with me at: elanasalcedo@gmail.com. Bless you

Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.

But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could
connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of
text for only having one or two pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
