And yet nobody has publicly come forward to say "France Albert Rene, as the Man and Legend in your own lifetime that has been always 25 years ahead of your time, thank you very much for such forsight in making available our desalination Plants at considerable costs that right now happens to be our life-line as the rivers run dry even on the sparsely populated Silhouette Island."
To France Albert Rene, the young Man that you said was too radical to be allowed to join the SPUP when it was formed, salutes you and says gooday from Western Australia.

Could you enlighten us as to where that dam could be built on Mahe?.
I agree that too much good rain water have flowed into the ocean when it could have been diverted into big storage tanks at the base of every rivers along the coast of Mahe in the same way we store oil and in those massive tanks at Sepex.
And this my friend, is not having a go at the Government that are there to put infrastructures in place, but is indeed a contructive criticism aimed towards the Minister of Natural Resources and Conservation to put in place/take on board because such infrastructures are condusive for our wellbeing.
Who says we need on huge dam? Has the thought of having several smaller dams ever struck any of you guys? For smaller dams there are more than enough places where these could be located. Just look at Tikolor's ego, that itself is large enough to place at least 3 La Gogue dams. Pity it's so polluted though.
Just a reminder that the Voters of Seychelles are Collectively the Plaintiff, Prosecutor, Judge, Jury and Executioner all rolled up in One because they are. Every year, we let all the rain water go directly into the sea. Then we use expensive desalination plants to desalinate the water.
ReplyDeleteRene never had the foresight to build dams, like the British did.
Maybe one day Sheikh Khalifa will take pity on us and build a dam for us. What are sugar daddies for ?
We need to get rid of that lot. Whether they drop dead or get kicked out at the next elections, ça m'est égal.
