Seychelles Commissioner of Tax & Revenue throws in the towel
The Commissioner of Tax and Revenue, Mr. Rene Nusse, citizen of Australia has resigned and decommissioned himself with immediate effect. Rene Nusse took over the post from Steve Jardine, another Australian import Commissioner of Taxes who has since become a Fabrike Citizen of Seychelles. Mr. Jardine has built apartments and entered into the tire business since his departure.
Jennifer Morel, a Seychellois national , known to be a tight and honest civil servant as Deputy Central Bank Governor, now assumes the post of Tax & Revenue Commissioner.
In addition to Nusse's departure, a number of other less prominent Australians have vacated their posts. It is expected that his girlfriend and partner who was an advisor to Mr. Danny Faure, Minister of Finance will be departing as well.
We wish Mr. Nusse well and aside from placing his picture, on the Revenue Commissions website, and not being a Citizen of Seychelles, in charge of such an important post, we have nothing against him.
The revolving door continues to turn.
Good men cannot do the devils work.
I salute the courage of STAR and the lead journalist Christopher Gill for all they have done to expose the Australians at TAX and CUSTOMS.
ReplyDeleteReplace them all with Seychelloise. There is no excuse to have Australians in Seychelles working in key positions.
If they choose to stay in spite of our appeal, make it as uncomfortable as possible for them while here, as it is uncomfortable for a Seychelloise who is capable to do the job to be displaced in his own land.
Now it is time for Scully and his Irish Army gang to leave the Police and go do their arms dealing somewhere else.

ReplyDeleteNusse is one, so is Jardine and Chang Leng, and Quilindo, and removal of a number of State House men from State House to army base,a slew of other terminations/early retirements.
We work hard while SNP copies and pastes our articles in little articles and State of Nation Speeches, without giving us credit for our ideas and work. They pretend MSR and the journalist behind it do not exist.
Even PP figured it out. The word is out on the streets. People are not just dumping SPPF and PP, they are dumping SNP.
If SNP does not unite the Opposition, I will present 2500 signatures, for Ramkalawan to resign. This represents the balance of vote that tipped the scales to SPPF in the last elections.
If Ramkalawan does not resign and picks his pocket over the welfare of the People of Seychelles, I will ask SNP to close down as an opposition party once MSR is formed.
Alternatively, since they are use to the cocktail party scene with PP and can enjoy a drink or two together, I will encourage them to form a government with PP.
It will make the line of sight easier for us all.

How can the SNP unite the opposition when the MSR is an extremist party like the BNP. How many parties in the UK associate themselves with the BNP. Your critisism of the SNP and personal insults to its leadership is only encouraging the split. Why do you not build the bridges to unite. Remember SNP gave you a chance to express yourself at their last convention. Your speech is even on their You tube page. Is that the thanks you give them you ungrateful nationalist.
ReplyDeleteMr Gill Christopher, i salute you and wish you well. Despite initial reservations (and i was amongst the first to challenge you to open STAR to opening up to debate and question the decision why you crossed the floor), i will give my support to a third political party as long as it espouses my core beliefs: democracy, transparency and honesty.
ReplyDeleteThough I respect your choice to allow Ramkalawan (the person who holds the constitutional post of Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly) time to present a plan of unification for the Opposition. This call was made many months ago. We are still waiting for a sign from Ramkalawan that he has the will (let alone ability) to do so. I warned you Mr Gill (the SNP Leaders are offshot of the SPPF's, they bear the same mentality, have streaks of violence, inability and unwillingness to listen to diverging views, greed for money and power), they will use you just as they used or tried to use Boulle, Gabby Hoareau just to name a few.
You (and Seychelles) has no choice because Seychelles needs and deserves better! PP collaborators are not only fabrike, they are also rasin, rasin who choose to collaborate with the system in order to protect their 'aki'! Collorators, who take in a fat salary from the people and do not do the job they were elected to do, and yes Ramkalawan is one of them.
But Mr Gill, i must warn you. You must be very careful. SNP/and its Leaders will and is collaborating with SPPF/Parti Lepep to destroy you because they both are threatened! Both SNP and SPPF/PL are now on a course to protect their interest foremost, Seychelles and democracy comes last. I will ask you (you may or may not have given thought to it) to do an examen de conscience first, because in taking this struggle to the street and the people you will risk EVERYTHING! What you were faced with 15 years ago, will be a picknick. I say this because some will also risk everything along you, the last thing Seychelles needs right now is a photocopy of Ramkalawan, who will just do enough to get in a position and then turn around and thank God for not being elected. We need people who are commited to the struggle, if you feel you cannot do that, then you know what you have to do. You have done enough in exposing what is wrong with Seychelles, more than many of us, i respect and salute that.
Vox
PS I must say that Vox has nothing to do with Lavwa the other website!
I refer to Anonymous above (i will let Gill have his own opinion), Anonymous typifies the mentality of SNP leaders. For them freedom of speech and expression is nota right but a privilege, that they (and their SPPF/PL ideological photocopy) gives us. That is why the SNP did not hesitate for one second to stop printing the Seychelles Weekly. Ramkalawan may treat his fellow Ex Co Members with the contempt they deserve (yes i say contempt because to form part of a Committee such as the SNP one must have a very low esteem of oneself but that is their choice) but he will not do this to the majority of the people! With the coming election with or without the participation of MSR, the SNP will not achieve much!
ReplyDeleteYes, the SNP uses Gill on their blog because they steal and plagiarises his ideas (being incapable of coming with original thoughts) and Anonymous once on U Tube, the SNP loses control, they will never be able to delete that in a million years!

ReplyDeleteTalking Points - Nusse's Resignation Shows Power of Seselwa Rasin

http://lavwa-seychelles.blogspot.com/2010/05/talking-points-foreign-commissioner-of.html#comments
Oh dear Vox,
ReplyDeleteSNP do not use Gill on their Blog. They simply posted his speaech on You Tube. They also invited him to address their convention as they beleive in free speech. That is more than SPPF gave Gill when he publicly crossed the floor. And no matter what Gill says we all know the real reasons. As for having it deleted. It can be done. Anybody can delete clips from their You tube account if they are the adminstrator
If there is anyone who can be accused of Cut and Paste it is no other that MSR leader Leonard Francis Gill. He has no ideas of his own. He just copies what his brother says PARROTT Gill perhaps

ReplyDeleteExtremism in defense of the motherland and Seselwa Rasin rights is no vice, it is a virtue. I for one thank you for your compliment.
A Seselwa Rasin should be doing Nusse's work. When that happens it will be due to the efforts of The Mouvman and Christopher Gill one of The Mouvman's leaders. It will not be because of Ramkalawan or the SNP.
I am personally familiar with efforts by Christopher and other leaders of The Mouvman to meet with Ramkalawan to work out a unified approach. All were rebuffed.
In any event, it is time to focus both SNP and The Mouvman's efforts on the PP Collaborators. So SNP call of your cadres who have been assigned to attack The Mouvman. It will not work and it will just entrench and magnify our differences which we will have to bridge to defeat the PP Collaborators.
Anyway, at this point there is nothing you can do that will deter us from proceeding. We are committed, partly due to the inaction and shortsightedness of your leader.
Or was it more because they have run OUT OF IDEAS and have no clue in how to run a country.
ReplyDeleteWavel had to invite Christopher Gill to speak as he makes sense and knows what he is talking about.
What happened to 'Pa les Tonbe' my SNP brother? Wavel has been approached several times to dialogue. I have personally sent him several emails. And you know what? Exactly, no response. Doom!!
Is that what you really call a responsible Oppo leader?? Mr. Ramka is too superior to answer to the lowly minions.
Well you know what? He has already dug his hole and PP is putting the final nail in his coffin.
"Lakwa et serkey i marse ansam!"

ReplyDeleteI follow everything my brother says, and everything I write is based on his ideas. I cut and paste his ideas into my articles. I have none of my own.
OK now it's your turn. Admit the SNP are plagiarizers since they do not have my brother's permission to write what they do as I do. Admit that they are as bankrupt as the PP Collaborators in coming up with any new ideas for themselves.
Go on, its your turn Karya.
I told you leonard. SNP will not work with MSR as it is to extreme. As will no other party in the UK work with the BNP. There are certain principles of the MSR that I agree with but there are also others that are to extreme and I cannot align myself to. You need to shift away from Extremism a little. maybe you should also practice what you preach. If you believe Sesel pou Seselwa you should also beleive that Lsamerik pou Ameriken. Stand by your beleifs and renounce your american citizenship.Even if it is not in their policy to take that right away from you
ReplyDeleteSorry mate. SNP are not plagariZers. What have they written out of the book of Christopher Gill. What original ideas of his have they stolen. Also Don't tell me Christopher has never copied and pasted an article from another source and posted it on his blog under his name.
ReplyDeleteJust to show how confused MSR are. An article about immigration was posted yesterday on the MSR blog by yourselves. Read it carefuly. It is not 100% in agreement with the creed. I agree you will call it freedom of speech but you did not chose to criticise any of the proposals.
Anonymous, my bro.
ReplyDeleteSNP Leaders (principally Ramkalawan, Ferrari, Mancienne) will never work with anybody else. Over the past 28-20 odd years it has always been them and them ONLY. Over the years several people have tried (Boulle and his NAP, Hoaureau and his MSN, the DPs, all the Ex SNP Ex Cos who have resigned) it always revolves around same issues/problems. Gill like it or not was being used, he was used to try to show that SNP is an open party and more specifically they needed Gill then to talk about the economy (something which they incapbale to understand or explain to the populace)!
The situation is a simple one, so simple that i cannot believe we waste time debating it: Ramkalawan in speech and action has shown he has no intention in defeating the SPPF/PL in the election. More importantly he has not succeeded nor will he succeed. That in itself is sufficient cause for him to go.
The more we beat around the bush, the more time we waste, the more risks Seychelles run, and the more we sink in the abyss! The writing is on the wall, Ramkalawan must go!
Vox
Sorry 4got to add, the electorate has the last say.
ReplyDeleteI have said it before, i do not buy into the 'electoral fraud' that Gill is trying to sell. Certainly will not buy it unless evidence is forthcoming. That i believe is just an excuse to explain electoral defeats! I also note that the SNP does not say anyhting about electoral fraud (but that comes up only after elections)
I refer to Anonymous, if the SNP cannot defeat the SPPF/PL in the coming elections, then they ever will?
Vox
All of us here on this blog knew perfectly well that Gill on several occasions invited Wavel & SNP for discussions on forming a unified opposition but up till now to no avail. It's well documented.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, SNP doesn't share the same views & it's more like party & personal interest at heart instead of our country.
In other words SNP is collaburating with SPPF/PL to maintain the status quo.
No way in this world that SNP will win the next election.
Many have voiced their opinions as well as calling upon wavel to resign with his honour intact & leave gracefully. But as it seems, he's just another dictator in our homeland.
STAR blogs & its army of volunteers are doing a far amazing job that the main useless opposition party.
Tell us karya what SNP has done since the last election, that the people of seychelles can say without & 100% confidence that SNP are really working for the benefits of all seselwa?
There were ample of opportunities for SNP to capitalise & turn the table in their favour but sadly, SNP does what SNP does best.... NOTHING & they will just write a few articles in Regar & that's how far they will go. Words for SNP is louder that actions! What a pathetic opposition party & they don't even deserve to be called an opposition but more like a coalition with SPPF/PL.
The only option left now is for MSR to be fully recognised a formal political party & take the fight down to the grassroots.
I can bet you a pound to a penny, that once MSR is a formal party, SNP & the gang will run with their tails between their legs & will be begging Gill to form an alliance with them. You will see Karya, how the table will be turned. Watch & learn SNP!
Niya
I am glad to hear that despite all the bullying that Mr Nusse has had to endure through this site and the Weekly (including physical threats of violence), that he has been wished well. I only know him personally, but at least I do know him, and so think it is relevant to say that not only is Mr Nusse highly intelligent and capable but an absolutely delightful and glorious individual.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what his wife thinks about him having a girlfriend??? This is just another case of not having all the facts, of course...
If Gill was being used why does not come out and publicly state it. I guess he was also used when he crossed the floor
ReplyDeleteVox,
ReplyDeleteFYI one of Seychelles best known economists is SNP. Mr Robert Grandcourt. are you sure they really neded Christopher. Is he a qualified economist or does he just quote reports he sees on the internet.
Ha ha ha!! The best economist Mr. Grandcourt is holed up in Brussels. Why is he not here in Seychelles beside the SNP leadership? If SNP was really committed to change this regime would be be 'au frais' in Europe? The minute we were under the microscope with the IMF, SNP's great economist should have been back in the country to prepare for a new economic vision. We never even heard a whimper let along the voice of this grand economist. 'Zot! Ase bat nou latet' you are just like SPPF!!
ReplyDeleteGill is trying to make things move forward. SNP is sliding down a muddy slope with SPPF holding its underwear to help cushion its fall.
We also have one of the best diplomats in the SNP camp and he is also sitting pretty somewhere in the UK and his house here is up for sale for US$ 1 million! Now that's what I call total commitment to change and determination to see us through this SPPF chasm...
Don't piss in the wind mate!!
SNP did meet with the IMF. SNP did set out ideas. Who was it that proposed to float the Ruppee. Who proposed many other economic reforms before the IMF came in. It was not Mr Gill.It was not Mr Gill. It was SNP.Others just jumped on the train. Before you condenm the SNP. Read its manifesto from the last elections. You will learn a lot.
ReplyDeleteWhy are SNP the main Opposition. Beacuse they have proven themselves to being peoples hope. After Christopheer Gill crossed the floor. Belombre went to the SPPF. It lasted one Term. It is now back in opposition hands thanks to the hard work of SNP MNA. Nicholas Prea. He worked damm hard to regain trust of the opposition in Belombre who were let down by Christopher Gill. And he has not once let us down.
Mr Gill asked what Bernard and ramkalawn did when the Malo arms were shipped out. He was in the assembly at that time. Did he question what he did. I know the answer. He joined the SPPF.
Where did all the Karya come from???????????
ReplyDeleteWow, they have been quiet for over one year.
Ramkalawan King Karya himself, received every single blog post comment and every single article posted on STAR, in his mail box 365 days a year.
He made only one (1) comment. How many comments can we expect him to make as the President of Seychelles? Ot if he loses,an election, as Leader of Opposition for 5 more years???????
Reply to Karya now.
MSR is not BNP. Our Creed is founded under the founding principle of the Republic of Seychelles: "Sesel Pou Seselwa". Ramkalawan in delivering his State of the Nation address said: "Sesel Pou Seselwa". Now, little Karya, are you suggesting that Ramkalawan does not know what that means when he delivers his speech?
The answer of course, is yes.Because 1/2 of his State of Nation address was made up of my article content. That is ok if he gave credit to me, but he did not. That is plagarism.
He needs to rectify this slight detail.
Reply to Vox:
Thank you for your contribution. I was wondering where the hell are u Vox?
I am glad you are back.
Now to address your points of issue. I know Ramkalawan and SNP are a waste of time Vox, but they are the lead party and Leader of Opposition. We need to respect them for that and give them every opportunity to unite the Opposition. They must come up with a plan for that. We must consider it, in spite of them being dishonorable, deal breakers ie bouncing Frank Elizabeth from National Assembly.

I know you do not want to give them any time, but MSR is a reasonable organization in the making.
Inspite of the slight detail that Frank was bounced, and DP had given SNP 5 seats they other wise would not have for 5 years to sit on and go to sleep in.
That works out to Scr.870,000 per annum excluding the pension part and gratuity part. Over 5 years is Scr. 4,350,000.00 for sitting in a communist leathette seat and waiting for the 4x4 jeep to arrive tax free. Not even an SNP MNA has been tasked to answer anything on STAR in that time. It is not important to them.
On the issue of streets- Well Vox, we are prepared to die for our country. We are not afraid of the streets. We go to the streets when the time is right fot it. Right now MSR Activists are on the streets. I was with them all day yesterday, registering the necessary 2,500 signautre to MSR.
Know, I reply to Niya- who says that SNP will come running for an Alliance with MSR.
Niya, if I lead MSR, there will be no Alliance with any party. "Sesel Pou Seselwa is not negotiable with political parties that sell our heritage and place in our country to FABRIKES for a few pieces of silver or EURO 150,000.00 to allow an Indian national buy our passport then lord over us as an Ambassador at large. No negotiations on this.
Reply to Karya-
On issue of SNP Speech to Convention. This matter was part of a negotiation between Ramkalawan Mancienne, myself to help SNP. They claimed they did not under stand the economic sitution and needed help. The speech is not just on U-TUBE.

Dear Anonymous, i think there is a general consensus that SNP (or in whatever form it was called in the past) started well. Despite lack of democratic credentials and dictatorial management practices of Ramkalawan many decided to overlook these in the hope of ridding the country of the SPPF. In fact this seemed to be the overiding aim of most Opposition suuporters (leaders) in the past and should be now and for the future because the future with the SPPF/PL is bleak. But the issue is what has Ramkalawan done between 2006 and 2010. In 2006, almost half of the population (46% of the electorate) was behind Ramkalwan for change. After 2006 elections for reasons best known to Ramakalawan things seems to have changed which culminated in him Ramkalawan saying in the National Assembly that he is thankful fro not winning the elections, that statement and the general actions of Ramkalawan/SNP indicate that they are a party which has just given up and/or doing the bare minimum to keep their seats in the National Assembly. Funny Anonymous that you mention Malo, the person who broke the story and furnished almost all the information behind Malo is no longer with the SNP (i bet you know that)!
ReplyDeleteThe question that begs is what do we do now. What is Ramkalawan/SNP doing now to defeat the SNP. I live in Seychelles, i go to the same shops as everybody, go to same beaches, go to same churches, go to the same social events, and one thing i hear is that life is tough.tough, tough, complaints, complaints. complaints. I also hear that despite all that SPPF/PL will still win the next elections and the SNP is not doing much if anything at all to change things!
People who know a little bit about the SNP, knows that nothing has chnaged in the SNP (except that many of their most vocal supporters have turned against them), why would anybody think the SNP have the capacity (nor even the will) to defeat the SPPF is beyond me?! After all isn't it the same Ramkalawan who declared in 2007 that 'karay i so' and that he likes to have a good night s sleep, if in 2007 'karay ti so' in 2011 it will be boiling hot, and sleeping easy at night is something the President will seldom be able to do.

Karya agrees Sesel pou Seselwa. But your policy on won who can become Seselwa is wrong. Anyone who has contributed to the Seselwa society in a honest way over no of years has all right to become a seychellois. The govt in Power has mndate given to it by the people and have all right to decide if that person deserves it. The application must be public and people can object. Your creed however thinks that all people who have received citizenship since independence should surrender their seychellois citizenship and their case be put to a referendum. That is wrong. Christopher can you please show us which article of yours was half of Wavel's state of the nation reply.May it not be that as opposition certain objectives are common

The speech was placed on a CD according to Mancienne and 3000 copies made for Christmas.
SNP did not even send me one (1) copy.
Now, if I need to be grateful to SNP for allowing me to educate them on the economy of Seychelles, the speech of which, was used by Bernard Georges and Colin Dyer in the National Assembly, without credit to the person who delivered the speech, then I am grateful to you SNP.
Bottom line, is as PP put it, for once I agree with SPPF, you dudes are a bunch of fakers.
You have been faking it all along with the intention of filling your pockets with the People's money.
You may have filled your pockets, but you will fake us and the People of Seychelles no more. The People are seeing right through SNP leadership today.
Its on the streets, people are talking.
Get real dudes, we are in 2010 not 1977 with Dr. Ferrari holding a gun to our heads!
You SNP leadership have a couple of options before you:
1.Unite Opposition, pay DP damages due;
2. Unite Opposition everyone- for that to happen, Ramkalawan has to resign and do a church sabbatical in Madagascar for 17 years representing the period he has taken us all on a ride and gotten rich on the peoples backs pain and suffering and fake appearances at furnerals, to pat us on the back when our family dies;
3.go join SPPF and carry their buckets, claim credit for their sins over the past 34 years, since you people collectively created SPPF and the Coup.
Zomn Lib stands because of the fathers of SNP, Ferrari and Ramkalawan!
So I say this Karya, you little wood eater: "Keep Your Distance ", for I have not sold my People and filled my pockets with their suffering.I work for a living, and built my business with my two(2) hands. If I had one (1) hand, I would do it the same.

Christopher.
ReplyDeleteYou sold your people the day you crossed the floor. If you were a man of principle you would have given up your seat and the salary that came with it as you were no longer reprtesenting the people who voted for you. Some people may forget but not all.
You have done it once. What will stop you from doing it again.

Hey Karya, how do you interprete Wavel Ramkalawan's statement that he thanked God for not wining the elections? Isnt that very similar to selling out and total disrespect to 46% of the electorate who voted for him? Now if Ramkalawan sold himself for increase in salary in 2007, what guarantee do we have that he has not already done so or will do so in the future for keeping SPPF/PL in power in the next elections. Does it not necessarily follow (even if is ExCo memebers are too cowards, many of them choose to criticize in private) that Ramkalawan should have tendered his resignation then?

No VOX ,if we walk the streets it is firstly ,a constitutional right we have something we should have done in 2008 when PP declared our country bankrupted.
ReplyDeleteSecondly there is no powerful force than that of the people, i would therefore rather say that PP would loose everything because all they posse belong to the people.
Thirdly,if what you trying to say is that PP would use force the only thing it knows than i hope that they think twice before they take any such move because if they make the mistake of challenging us and search for trouble they will have it double.

You want Karya rto reveal his identity. Why do you not ask all anonymous on your webiste as well as your friends Patrick X, VOX, Patrick Xeno etc.....
I have nothing to Hide. My name is David James Johnstone. My Rasin roots are from St Joseph Praslin
Happy. Now ask all your other friends to come clean and reveal their real identity.
Pa Pou Zanmen les tonbe.
Good luck to you Mr Gill and Goodbye.
I just hope that next time someone gives you a platform to express yourself you do not throw it back at them because they do not agree with all your principles. Just like a little baby throwing toys out of his pram beacause he cannot get everything his own way.
Now you can publish what you want about me. Ask your mr Anonymous people about me. Some of them no me very well. I have even worked with some of them bbut remember.
Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.
I Reply to "Karya"- cum David:
ReplyDeleteWell David, the reasons have been repreated over and over again for years now.
They are also well documented with letters to Rene and the US Embassy at the time.
As you know, I was very young then and a little green behind the ears, as you were then, writing all those silly things in Regar , between beers at Coral Strand.
We all grow up David. We all learn from our mistakes. I am lucky to have lived to correct the error.
You must not hate. Release your negative energy , let it go. Wavel Ramkalawan's gross failures are not yours.
They are his. Only his, unless others choose to hold on to his failures and claim them.
You reprimand me for being scared and fearful of my life at the time Rene sent thugs to my house repeatedly.Fear is an uncontrollable factor. It takes everyone, until one learns how to contain fear.
The One Party State system taught all Seychellois to live on there e knees, David. Today, I am teaching all Seychellois to stand on their feet. That includes you, you have dropped your funny name "Karya", and used your fine Christian name, "David".
As for others, give them time, when they individually feel comfortable and brave as you, they will reveal their names.
In the meantime, do not blame them and hate them for they fear.Pray for them as many have prayed for me and given me strength.
No matter what "parcours" a Seychellois Rasin takes to turn against PP and SPPF , we must accpet them if they are not the top 15 corrupted or have blood on their hands.
This is something SNP as you, do not understand. Hence why perpetually, your SNP will never win elections, they will always be (-) something.
MSR will win because we do not judge Seychellois Rasin for being subjected to victimization mentally.
Join us and tell your friends and family.
Your hate has been with you for a long time. I know it. But only you can release it.
Hate is a material ingredient to failure David.
When you have some time, ask KING KARYA to give back some of that fat pension and fat 38 % pay hike. It is embarrassing as hell. I even aske dhim in private to do it, he ignored me.
Peace to you David.
Christopher Gill
Christopher,
ReplyDelete1, I have not once written an article for Regar so maybe the beers at Coral Strand clouded your mind more than mine.
2,I did not need you to tell me to stand on my feet. I have been doing it even before Seychelles had a third republic. Why should you ask those that do not agree with you to reveal their id but those that support you not. Get them to come out of the woods and Fer Tande Zot Lavwa. I know some of them. They are powerful enough and have enough means for them not to hide their identity Just as you have done. Are they scared of insults. If you want to gain respect of the people and any kind of support it would help.
3. your earler accusations at me called me a millionaire. Not very nice especially not knowing my real id. Now you do you may know that i am not one. So hopefuly you would apologise
4, I will not join the rasinis mouvman. I am a Seychellois. My roots go back as far as the late 1700's but I cannot support a party in which my views (Which you should respect)do not have the same views as me when it comes to classifying who and who should not be a Seychellois. You have had the chance to become an american citizen. Was it put to the vote? NO. Have you ever said that you having it is wrong? Your creed unfortunately does not distinguish between those who purchased Seychellois nationality or who earned it by having grown up in a country and adopted it as home just as you may call Guam your adopted home .
4, FYI. I have never been brainwashed vby any party. The reason I support the SNP is beacause they are the nearest to representing what I beleive in. Nobody will have the same opinion. But if everyone who had a slightly different opinion formed a political party. How many would there be.
I do not have any hate. I just want to see a free Seychelles although our opinions differ on this free Seychelles.
As for the fat pension. It is his right. It was voted for in a constitution that you approved. Yes it has been increased. But it was fat way before. I also hope that you can honestly prove that as an ex MNA you are not also benefitting from the same pension agreements for Ex MNAS as the others are.
David Johnstone
Woah, Cowboys! I thought this was about Mr Nusse? But I am glad that you have bought up people doing things because they have been threatened, because of thuggery...
ReplyDeleteThe person whom threatened Mr Nusse and his family - please step forward and explain to everyone how you are any different to the parties you despise?? What makes this even more repulsive is that this occured after Mr Nusse had resigned.
Tell me how you propose to right all the wrongs you claim to exposure about your Country when you are no better than, in fact possibly worse than, what you accuse others doing?
Reply to Thin Ice Bougla-
ReplyDeleteIf USA did not commit genocide in WWII. That sound like the VETO argument of State House I read this morning.
Relax, be patient, we will get through this ice business.
The USA was in a state of war when they dropped the Atomic Bomb. Now, many do not agree with it, but it ended the war.
Hence, you sited a non issue, red herring at best.
Second point is the thin ice thing. In the battle of ideas and free press their is no thin ice. Either you suspend that provision of the Constitution that allows me to write, or you leav eit alone.
Simple.
Regards to the Genocide issue, it is no longer in my hands. I wrote an article, commenting on what had been written by someone else and the UN.
Now, the UN is dealing with the matter, they will be knocking on doors soon, as I understand. So the treats to me on STAR is not a very good thing to be doing right now.
Play it cool, and answer the questions when the time comes.
Don't touch me, or do any accidents, since it will only add another charge to the accomplice to genocide charge in the works.
Good Night.
Remember, the Coalition government thing with SNP is always an option, good night again Spirit.
I am still waiting for my rent a car license and my fence, and you owe me some settlement money, I would appreciate paid soon, that I can use to give to MSR to remove you from power.
Pay up.
Christopher Gill
David dont start to get panic of RASIN movement this is just the begining. Are you also involed in Dirty works. No one are afraid to hide he or her identity,me i come also from Cote Dor Praslin may be one day when i come for holiday.I will face you face to face and personaly.

The real Red Herring apparently was Mr Nusse and all the other Expats that have been defamed on this site and in certain newspapers. If this were not the truth, please explain how this information on this thread, that Mr Russe is leaving, which was not new to anyone, has turned into Seychellois against Seychellois?
ReplyDeleteThis is the real issue as I see it - you don't respect or like each other, so how the hell could you possible respect the work of someone from the "outside"? It is all decoy tactics.
Stop bitching at each other, attempting to insight hatred of anyone whom has a different opinion (or skin colour) and start talking about real policies - start talking to real people instead of playing school yard games.
This is getting so boring.
Alternatively, my suggestion is that you all purchase punching bags (I am happy to become a million importing them) and take your frustrations out on inanimate objects - you would make more friends that way and less enemies...
Just a suggestion.
Quelle belle histoire, un peu traji-comique et hors contexte, mais merci quand même. G
ReplyDeleteWe do not condone threats to Mr. Nusse if they so exist.
ReplyDeleteMr. Nusse is obliged to use STAR to send an article in regarding the incidents of threats to him.
We will publish.
We do not associate with the Editorial of any newspaper in Seychelles. Though Regar and Weekly do use our articles in their papers.
We need foreigners in Seychelles and welcome them to do business, invest if they like, but not take positions in the Government that can be filled by Seychellois, particularly in the management level.
We also do not accept GOP workers becoming citizens of Seychelles, as was the case with Steve Jardine while employed with Government of Seychelles.
Mr. Nusse can send his article to sezfree4u@yahoo.com. I will forward your article to the STAR Administrator.
Regarding the comments back and forth, to one commentor, all I can say is that is a result of not having divergent views aired on SBC Radio and TV. The internet is the new forum and it works.
WIth it we will solve some of our problems, which you have now become accustomed to.
Christopher Gill
Second Cousin Christopher (yes, Leonard, you are not the only relative of Christopher)
ReplyDeleteYou only need to contact the Police to know such threats where made. I am so glad to know you do not condone them and we look forward to seeing you on your next trip to Mahe. As family our house is always your house.
Sarah Jane, will tell us next that politics are different in the USA, France, UK, Mauriitus, Tongo. Get real lady, politics are same everywhere and stop acting holier than thou, worse things happen where you come from! At least where you come from, when somebody loses 3 elections in a row he/she has the decency to step down without anybody asking. Brown is one recent example!

I reply to David Johnstone-
ReplyDeleteYou say you have not written in Regar and accuse me of beers fogging my mind. David, how many times have we read articles signed by "KARYA"? You are not "KARYA"? Then there is of course "King KARYA". Who is that suppose to be?
You say I do not need to tell you to stand on your feet. But when you call yourself "KARYA", you not only stand on knees, you crawl on your belly, just like "King Karya". Now, you use your name, so I can see you are now standing on your feet, even if it is from London. Good on you.
I assume all Karya are millionaires because of the huge amount of money they make for doing nothing these days. This is reasonable. Since you disclosed your true ID, then the term millionaire does not apply to you, but it does apply to Father "King Karya", who you little "Karya's" have worked so hard, and deilgently over the years 17plus now to fatten up. You have succeeded.
You say you will not join MSR. That is your choice. Your roots go back to 1700, so do mine. I respect your views, so long as you do not recklessly trample on mine. If you have an idea, I will challenge it, as I expect you to challenge any ideas I may have. The debate is healthy and will give us a better country.
Our CREED allows for naturalization, spousal -citizenship and humanitarian grant of citizenship. Your inference to say that it does not is wrong and misprespresents true facts.
Until now, I am unsure what you believe in. Example, who is a Seselwa according to you David? Answer that little question.
You say you want to see Seychelles free. We both agree with that premise. Unfortunately, we will not ever see Seychelles free with the team of King Karya and company. Why? They are too comfortable with a Seychelles in chains, and have gotten rich off her plight.
You say the fat cat pensions are right. You are wrong. They are wrong. Because the people of Seychelles suffer with the same amount of salary as when the SCR. was 7.00 to $1.00. Today it is 12.45 to $1.00. David Johnstone, the Shepard ate all the sheeps food and left them to starve to death and fend for themselves.
This is wrong.
My retirement, which I had no say in is Scr. 3,000.00 per month, FYI. I use it to pay the phone bills which is about Scr. 7500.00./
I will give back all that money if Ramkalawan and SNP agree to do the same. I challenge you all fat cats of the Opposition. Give back the Money!!!!!!!
Now David, go tell King Karya to get off his fat bum and give back the money.
As I said before, it is the first step to uniting the Opposition.
Christopher Gill
According to Mr Afif (interview on SBC TV) Nusse has been replaced as policy of govt to replace foreigners when the man power ability permit/allows. No mention of any threats to Nusse were made, should taht have been the case i believe the SPPF would have made it a pleasure to publicise and blame it on the Opposition. Ase fer nou kwar lizour pour aswar don, only Albert Rene and Wavel Ramkalawan are known to and have used physical abuse against opponents or person they do no like. I have heard that Gill has been physical or used such threats, so let us not start with that.
ReplyDeleteYes, where there are Seychellois capable, they must replace the foreigners. That is the policy of govts everywhere in the world (except Seychelles)!

ReplyDelete@ David Johnstone, i am happy that you are confident to reveal your true identiy, you live abroad, married to a rich lady. Some of us (including me) does not have the same luxury, most of us live in Seychlles and are subject to victimisation to of the SPPF/PL and harm from SNP fanatics (you who were close to the SNP when you were in Seychelles knows what they are capable of), i just hope that you make the effort of coming to Seychelles to cast a vote when election comes, that is the only way you will 'free' Seychelles!

Reply to Second Cousin on Mahe-
ReplyDeleteThe Creed of MSR is a serious document. It empowers Seychellois as it should.
The document is not a matter to be taken lightly or handled by amateurs.
Some local journals have taken the ideas of the CREED and interpreted the ideals to mean we are anti foriegner. MSR and STAR is not anti Foriegner, we are pro Seychellois.
We need foriegners, we need investment, but we do not need to sell our citizenship in the process and circumvent rules and law to please anyone, be it King , Shiek, or Prince.
Laws must be applied to everyone.
Unfortunately, Seychelles today, is far from that.
I have been trying to get 2009 statistics from the Irish Policeman at Central now for over 5 months, to no avail. So if Mr. Nusse believes we need to know something, and defend him and his safety, please do inform us.
Christopher Gill
Dear Second Cousin
ReplyDeleteI am sure Mr Nusse, as a Lawyer himself, will have full faith and force in the law on this matter, but will be glad to know that STAR has his support.
The offer still stands - we look forward very much to having you to our house on Mahe. Politics aside - family, is most important. You only need to call. ...
Vox,
ReplyDeleteSorry mate. You think you know my wife. Well who is she ? I can assure you your statement is wrong. My wife aint a rich lady. My wife is as rasinn as I am. 100% SESELWA. You got that fact very wrong. What makes you think you know me and my whereabouts. Check the belombre electoral register. My name is on it. That means I am a resident of Belombre. and not anonyme from ile anonyme. I have been victimised but are ready to stand up and be heard. many others have been victimised but stood up to be heard.
Come on VOX do the same mate.
David
Before you answer again with false statements make sure you do your research.
Christopher,
ReplyDeleteIts amazing how quick you jump to assumptions. Becuase I use the name Karya, You associate me with Regar. Karya has never written for Regar but Vizyon. BTW I have also never written for vizyon even If I use the name Karya. If i had signed Mystic Meg. Would you have accused me of writing for the Sun.Or if I had signed the stig. You would have accused me of being Mr Anonymous in Top Gear. On top of that you assume I am in London. Little do you know about me. No matter how much I reveal my ID . Keep on digging mate.
So You use your pension to pay off your phone bills. Good on you. It is not a maleres phone bill though is it. If you really stood uy for what you preach. You would have publicly given it to a malere.
On top of that you claim to have had no say in your pension. I remember very well that it was covered in the constitution that you signed for and wavel and others including me. Voted against
ReplyDeleteDavid
Is there an official reason as to why Mr Nusse left his post? Could as reason also be that he was doing too god of a job, i.e discovering things that the PL didn't want to come out public?
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see a Seychellois in that post, but you can bet your monkeys that if a Seychellois does get the post, he/she would be hand-picked by the PL and hence made of the same calibre as the editor of Nation.
Now I don't know what is worse in such a post: a foreigner or a corrupt hand-picked Seychellois?

Second Cousin on Mahe (Georgia Dunlop in reality):
ReplyDeleteSince you addressed me personally and on a personal level, I will return the honor in kind.
Just to set the record straight: It has less value to me than a warm bucket of spit that Christopher is my biological brother.
What matters to me is that he is a stand up guy. He is a man of courage and dignity. He is honest, dedicated and committed. And most importantly he defends Sesel Pou Seselwa, and the Seselwa Rasin people - the mission of my late Father Peter Gill. That is why I call Christopher, brother, with pride, and I am honored to call him friend - I call very few people friend, brother or not.
I do not need to tout my personal family relationships, even to the extent of second or third cousins, to create in myself an exaggerated sense of my self-importance and self-worth. So you should not confuse my motives with yours.
KARYA,VOX and co don't feel so down-in-to-the-mouth and overawed, you are not dead yet. There is more to come .
ReplyDeleteRasin Movement has brought NUSSE down to his knees without a shot being fired.Seychellois are fed up on paying their way while they pocket in our dollars for doing nothing.

ReplyDeleteChristopher tells me that the Second Cousin referenced in these comments is in fact Francis-Terry Neilson.
My deepest and sincerest apologies to Ms. Dunlop to whom the comments from the Second Cousin were wrongly attributed by me. I will make any other apologies Ms Dunlop deems necessary and which is appropriate.
Attitutdes and mindset are changing in this country,a new leader is on the rise.He inspires and embraces the quality of leadership in an epoch where such qualities are more than necessary.
ReplyDeleteFrom the word go,Christ, a sharp-witted person,by his writtings and sedulous positions had on many issues of concern to this nation repeatedly shown public spirits and leadership.
To demontrate his love and passion to his country,he has developed a real plattform(ere STAR now RASIN MOVEMENT)in gradual biuld-up with an increasing popular support that has already become a pain in the A.. for both PP and the oppostion alike.
All in all,Christ is a paragon of good leadership.A well-rooted patriot worth rally behind. He is genuine.
We Rasin Movement are then calling on all PP's pariahs, those disapionted and so forth to join R.MOVEMENT under the leadership of Christ in order that we bring about the change our country and people badly deserve.
Join the R.Movement ,a movement for all SESEWA.You are all welcome.

I reply to David Johnstone-
ReplyDeleteSince there are many issues you raise, please bear with me.
One blog you asserted that MSR is the same as British National Party (BNP) in UK, and SNP cannot work with an extreme party.
Now Msye. Johnstone, I ask you, what does SNP stand for?
Is it not the Seychelles National Party ? Is not SNP a Nationalist Party, like the BNP or has it forgotten its mission, and the word "National means "National Fan " made in Japan , now, the fan is just blowing hot air to keep King Karya fat on the Publics money?
It is for this single reason that the MSR is being formed.
SNP leadership have collectively, in conspiracy, by remaining silent on the escapades of King Karya, fully abandoned its ideals, have no new ideas, and have no courage to even use their names on a blog.
You call yourself until recently, Karya.Only after I forced your hand that you revealed who you were. But we knew all along.
The Secretary General Mr. Mancienne does not even post his name, but we read his boring writing yesterday, that says nothing does hardly anything, like Regar each week for 17 years.
I stop buying Regar because I fall asleep everytime I read it.
SNP plagarizes and they say it is ok. The Secretary General of SNP says it is ok.
You say it is ok.
This is not ok. Did you people not go to university? Plagarism was against all University policies. There is a reason: it destroyed you, if ever caught.
You people are paid to work for the People of Seychelles millions of rupees a year, the least you could do is give credit sources if you decide you want to go in laid back mode and enjoy the money SPPF engross you with intentionally.
Weekly uses STAR articles. But they asked. This is the gentleman thing to do. So we have no issue with them.
"Karya" David, is a pen name in Regar and Vizyon. You use it, but say it is not you in those publications.
That is worse then stealing articles and using ideas in them in the State of Nation Address to mislead people, and not give credit to the writer.
If you are not Karya, do should not use the name.
My phone bill is high because I use it to network support for MSR. Plus the rates in Seychelles are high and a 22% tax on phone use plus GST. I use my retirement well.
You can talk about it all you want.
I asked you to ask Wavel Ramkalawan to cut his 38% salary and cancel the retirement pensions for all MNA's and Ministers.
I will support him. Since I too have asked him to do it. But he ignored me up to now and even gave me a look like I was some kind of mad man.
Go tell him David. Pas les Tombe!
Unfortunately, it is 7 years since you left Seychelles. The SNP have Les Tombe a long time ago my friend.
You need to catch up to reality. Free yourself from the mental fixations of the past. Only drowning men clutch to straws in hopes of surviving.
Reply to David and Vox-
Do not victimize each other. We need to find common ground.
Peace with You all.

Davidson you are a disperate PP cronies who was convinced that PP would stay on power for iternity, you are just shocked by the happenings taking place in this country.
ReplyDeleteDavidson you have benefited wrongly from our people wealth purloined by PP for the last thirty-six years, the people just want their assets back.
And now David if you are not part of the solution then you are part of the problem and you will be concider as such.
Moreover,Praslinois are in its majority oposse PP and that has been the case since PP used an Ak-47 to toppled our young democracy.
We will stay an oppostion to PP until those kleptomanias are arrested and brought behind bars.We believe in the the rules-of-law and democracy not communist the latter is absolated.
Jeanne D'Arc
The writing of what looks like Roger Mancienne's (SG of SNP)style has commented and declared, that SNP has met with IMF and made recommendations.
ReplyDeleteWhen? and What recommendations? Why is it not in Regar?
When IMF first came to Seychelles, SNP refused to meet with them under Article 4 Consultations.
Once Michel took to adopting an IMF PLan in October 2008, after we went bankrupt as a state, and sought emergency funding (Stand By Arrangement) , SNP refused to meet with them.
I met with IMF every time I could. when I could not ,I would meet with people that did.
It is how I found out about the $2.4 Billion missing from the banking system and reported it so SNP could not cut another deal with SPPF over it and hide it from the Public. Even this issue was left to STAR and Weekly to deal with. Regar was evasive and soft on SPPF then PP, always looking for a coalition government deal.
Only recently has SNP met with IMF after countless articles I have written and the Speech I made to SNP telling them they must engage IMF to seek a solution for Seychelles.
If they remain silent I told them, PP will do what they like.
SNP met with IMF in a National Assembly meeting with Mr. Dem. That's it. PP sat next to them in coalition discussion apparently as one body of the National Assembly.
People of Seychelles, dump SNP now! Stop wasting our time and money.
Seychelles needs to move on and we cannot do it carrying fat cats on our backs that have simply given up and resigned to being No.2 in comfort.
A joke indeed.
Christopher Gill
Christopher,
ReplyDeleteAs i said little do you know about me. Until you get your facts right do not hake assumptions. Now you are claiming I left Seychelles 7 years ago. Again your fact is wrong. You assumed I live in London. Wrong. You accused me of being a millionaire . Wrong.
You claim all along you knew it was me. If you did you would not have made any of the above statements
Enjoy your day Christopher.
David
To David Johstone, my apologies it appears that there has been a case of mistaken identity. Your point taken, and i feel it was unbecoming and wrong to bring the wife (yours and anybody else in the debate). The issue is that i do not feel safe to reveal my identity, SNP supporters can afford to do so because the SNP is collaborating with the SPPF/PL to maintain the status quo. SNP Leaders familiies are not victimised (you can find them in Govt/parastatals, they enjoy same perks and privileges as the SPPF/PL fatcats)! Keep well.

ReplyDeleteappologies accepted. Next time though before you decide to throw an accusation investigate a little deeper. Out of curiosity which David Johnstone did you mistake me for.
Yes there may be SNP in high goverment positions. They are called civil servants. A civil servant has the right to support any party. Dont forget though that many high ranked civil servants have also been fired for publicly supporting the opposition. Luc Chang Ko. Remember him. Sylvestre Radegone. Remember him. The only some are where they are is because they are seen as the ones cabable of fixing the mess PP got us in. Just look what a good job Mr St Ange has done since taking over tourism marketing from a certain Mr Savy. Not only large hotels are benefitting. smaller hotels seychellois owned are also seeing levels of occupancy not enjoyed for a long time.
I am sure that there are also many Rasinis that are milking off the system and enjoying perks but are afraid to reveal their id as they do not want to be seen as a traitor maybe and not the fear of losing their job?
David
SNP bring us so close to victory only 2500 votes more. Now you SPPF divide us again with u MSR to make our jobs harder still
ReplyDeleteJustice will come for you one day you are SPPF behind this we know it
Hey David you are not a Praslinios, you are Seychellios yes.Because most Praslinios dont like this sytem seen a long time. What Michel have done for Praslin in this 32 years nothing. You just starting to get panic of Rasin movement. This movement is for the next Generation and Rasin want to bring real Democracy.

ReplyDeleteRam the bone idle priest without the moral power to resist JJ evil spirit is tarnished by his mixed political acollades with PP and his fits and start style of opposing.

I dont know anyone call anonymous who lives on Praslin. The fact that I am Praslinois does not mean I have to live on Praslin. It is where my Roots are. Take a drive deep in to St Joseph. You will see a long flight of stairs and many mango trees. That is where my Rasin lie. There is also a s cemetary at St Joseph. That is where my ancestors are resting in Peace. How much more than that do i need to claim the right to call my self. You say you are a praslinois. Then you will know Ton Ton Yvon Bresson. Ask him if he knows me. He can then tell you how Praslinois I am. Where are your praslin Roots Anonymous. I also do not support james Michel Mr other anonymous
ReplyDeleteSeselwa argue on Seselwa who is more rasin, this is all fuken Gill fault. its fuken mess up man
ReplyDeleteAnd why may I ask is that Gill's fault? If Gill didn't have a reason to be 'anraze' about foreigners getting advantages towards Seychellois we wouldn't even be having this discussion.
ReplyDeleteNaturally it's convenient to twist this around and blame Gill for it, but if you look deeper I think you'll find a different story.
Patrick X
Msye Gill,
ReplyDeleteYou accuse Wavel of Plagarism. Whos speech did He he plagarise when he stood up at St Pauls cathedral and stood up for the oppressed Seychellois and delivered what has now become a very famous sermon. One that got the wheels rolling toward the reintroduction of Milti Parti that allowed you back in Seychelles to brainwash seychellois with your Cut and paste Creed.
Jean Pierre Servina
I reply to Mr. Servina-
ReplyDeleteThe point you raise is a highly valid. You say, who did...Wavel Ramkalawan plagerize when he stood up at St. Pauls and gave a speech in 1991.?"
Answer:
No one I suspect, since no one has confronted him on the matter.
It was a brave act of courage in 1991. We all salaute him for this and many other great deeds he has done in that time.
However, the incident is not relevant to us today in as much as today, we face a different time, and unfortunately, we are dealing with a different Wavel Ramkalawan.
Just like on April 12, 1992, 10,000 people and myself rushed ot the Airport to meet James Mancham.
Neither men are the same today as they were 18 years ago.
Politicians have there time, Ramkalawan has had 17 years time, do you suggest we give him 25 years in Opposition?
Answer that, because the People of Seychelles are desparate and have no more time, Sir.
As members of the electorate we need to face that. Mr. Ramkalawan needs to face that. We have spoken with him in private, but he has not heeded our call. Now we speak in public to heed our call.
Mr. Ramkalawan in the opinion of many, not all, has served his best time for Seychelles.
It is time to move on, and hopefully, he can use his influence to broker a united opposition, to face PP, as opposed to keeping it divided as he has done, since late 2006 until today.
The strategy of destroyin co-opposition parties, is not a viable strategy. SNP has tried to destroy DP and then NDP. Now it must face MSR with NDP.
In 1991, we did not expect Mr. Ramkalawan to break his word.
This is why DP joined an Allaince with him without a signed agreement.
He broke his word with people that fought to bring him to power.
Back in the National Assembly,he brokered his salary first (Plus 38% plus pension for life), and left the salary of the People of Seychelles, in the balance.
Clearly Sir, we are dealing with a different Wavel Ramkalawan then we did in 1991.
I can say more, but I will not.
Christopher Gill

The problem now is who will implement the new tax reforms.
ReplyDeleteThe stark reality is noone really comprehends them and it will
land up as one massive mess.
better to revoke all tax reforms and revert back to the old laws.
or alteast postpone it until jennifer morel can come to grips with the new laws, let alone a new position.
Mr Gill,
ReplyDeleteOnce agin you level accusations at Mr Ramkalawan that you are also guilty of. MNA's negotiated their salary from day one of the third republic. That included a pension for life. Did you ever propose pension and sary reform for us ordinary citizens. I remember Ramkalawan on numerous occasions asking for it to be reviewed.
As you told mr Johnstone. You get Sr 3000 monthly. What you use it for is your business. However ask yourself a question. How many other Seychellois are there under the age of 50 that can claim a monthly pension of Sr3000 for 5 years work of which for some of those years you did not even stand up the people that put him in that position to have such a priviledge. Some who have now reached retirement age and are still earning less than you a month and having worked for over 40 years educating our people, caring for our sick. Do they not deserve more. Did you ever ask for them to have more when you had a mandate to do so?
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black
Jean Pierre Servina
You can give it to me, I can can understand it in on the first read.
ReplyDeleteYou can give it to a number of Seychellois and they will even simply it.
Not an issue.
Oh, except that JJ has problems, getting those Seychellois to do it, because in working for JJ you prop up failure.
Christopher Gill
I reply to Mr. Jean Pierre Servina-
ReplyDeleteYou say, I level accusations on Mr. Ramkalawan that I am alos guilty of, reference the MNA pay increase.
This is catagorically false. The MNA pay when I was in the National Assembly was Gross 8,000.00 per month. The Leader of the Opposition was 18,000.00 per month comparable to a Minister.
I left the National Assembly in the end of the first sitting, which was 1998.
The pay raise Mr. Ramkalawan proposed to State House and agreed with PP was in 2007.I was not in the National Assembly at this time, Sir.
Your accusation is 100% false.
The Assembly of 1998 had no pension for life. This was approved under the leadership of Mr. Ramkalawan in 2007 and PP. No debate. They just dished it out in face of impending bankruptcy of Seychelles, which they knew was coming because they read my articles, and told them so at the time.
You say Mr. Ramkalawan asked numerous times to review the pension and the salary. There Sir, you are 100% correct.
Mr. Ramkalawan wanted it reviewed upwards and he succeeded getting the PP in legislative conspiracy, to giv ethemselves, a 38% increase, plus life pensions, and gratuity after term of service.
This Sir is a legislative act of robbery of the People of Seychelles. Why? Because in Seychelles, MNA's had no pensions no gratuity in the past.
Now PP had set up SNP for life on a payroll, They only had to play along and be a nice Opposition.
This is why you see them in all the cocktails. You do not see me, though I am on the VIP list, though a bit down on the list these days.
Yes I get Scr. 3000.00/ I have asked Mr. Johnstone and now I ask you, ask Mr. Ramkalawan to have revoked this hugh pension for himself and all other MNA's and Ministers and Presidents.
I will support that 100% and it will help to bridge the divide that gorows each day in the Oppostion.
Finally, Sir, you say"in reference to my words: "....talk about the pot calling the kettle black".
Mr. Servina, the pot is black!!!!!!!
We in MSR have had enough of dirty pots and pans.
Christopher Gill
Mr Gill,
ReplyDeleteYou see where your problem is. Everybody who is against you must be PP. Are you scared that there are those that oppose JJ and also oppose your beliefs. They may even oppose SNP beliefs. Not everyboday that is not your friend is necessarily your enemy. You still have not answered the questions in my last post.
For your information I do not work for JJ or SNP.
Jean Pierre Servina
I reply to Mr. Servina-
ReplyDeleteI see I did miss your question, reference to the ordinary man who receives less then my pension of Scr. 3000.00, you ask "did I ever ask for more money for them when I had a mandate?"
Everyone should have more money if possible. It must start from the bottom up, not from the bottom down, Sir. That is leadership.
When salary increments start from the top and work there way down, it is called pillaging.
When it is done in unity between two opposing parties, it is called: "legislative conspiracy" to screw the people.
This has been done in 2007 by SNP Ramkalawan and SPPF Michel.
In my mandate, when the MNA salaires were announced, of Scr 8,000.00, the record reflects, that I was the sole person who said it was too high for MNA's/
I was also sanctioned by my party for voting against a party line on the matter.
Other salary increase, came in were presented by SPPF. Today, we all know it was money the country did not have. A country that spends what it does not have becomes a bankrupted Country. Today this is our status.
An Opposition that positions itself for life retirement, is a bankrupted opposition, aswell.
I trust this answers your question.
Christopher Gill
Davide i have told you soon we will be knocking on your door. And we will so you that we are will RASIN from Praslin.Me also i never hear this name on Praslin. You are a Praslinios.I ask you just one simpel question.Which island is near to Praslin? We Praslinios we not beleave in CORRUPTOIN and DESTRUCTION.We need investment but not DESTRUCTION like PP are doing with out thinking what there are doing.
ReplyDeleteMr Gill,
ReplyDeleteNot quite. Did you ever prsent a mostion to have salaries and pensions of civil servants increased? I also see there are many questions to you in the comments to this posting that go ananswered. The only answers you give is comparing SPPF to SNP. What about questions criticism directed to you. Eg question of Malo arms, Letting the people of Belombre down. (By the way did you apologise to them.) I dont want answers with questions of what did wavel do? We can all see what he has done and can become the judge of that at the next elections. But why should we vote for you
Jean Pierre Servina
Reply to Mr. Servina-
ReplyDeleteI have spent a good part of the morning answering your questions, some of which are a little incoherent. But I tried.
Now you have ventured into the abyss with a whole roll of questions.
My answers and time spent just on you, has been more then Mr. Ramkalawan has spent answering questions on STAR for 365 days of the past year put together.
I believe you need to ask Mr. Ramkalawan to answer some questions after my responses.
Now Sir, I am busy, and must depart you, my children are waiting for me for lunch, have a pleasant weekend.
Oh regarding Bel ombre, I am building my house there right now.
Site clearing is under way.
Soon after, I will build a mega executive home development ocean front, for her and provide jobs to the people of Belombre beyond cleaning Danny Loizeau's fish.
Nicolas Prea is free to work with me in Bel ombre. He is a great chap and have no issue with him.
Christopher Gill
There you go agin Mr Gill. Bringing Mr ramkalawan in to it. Exactly what i told you not to. So what if you are rebuilding your house at Danzilles and mega executive homes . It does not mean you have apologised to the people of Belombre. Even if you do emply a few. It will not be the 900 plus that you conned in to voting for you in 1993 will it. By the way Danny Loizeau is not the only Seychellois employer in Belombre. There are many others and the belombre residents employed by them . By the way you have just insulted those people that unfortunately have to clean fish. All jobs are jobs and should be treated equally. It is because some people do these dirty jobs that you have all those luxuries you have today.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the rest of the day with your family Mr Gill. I am also off for a little round the island ride with mine.
Jean Pierre Servina
Mr Gill if you ask me as Rasin to cotrubute with some money for our movement,me i am ready to contrubute.Beacause we want RASIN movement to get bigger and bigger. And me i see a buter future for our children with Rasin.

Thank you for the voice of support.
At this time, MSR is not taking any funding from anyone.
We are at formalization stage and will register a political party in due course.
Thereafter registration, one single bank acocunt will be opened in Seychelles at a reputable bank.
Auditors are clarifiying this week what requirements are for funding and proper managemnt of funds in a highly transparent style.
Once this is done, a bank account is set up, and account number made public, we will use PAYPAL for initial funding. You will be able to support MSR by making an online payment. Even debit cards will be accepted.
Remain alert for further notice of progress.
Tell three(3) friends of confidence about MSR CREED. Print three (3) copies of creed off Facebook "Mouvman Seselwa Rasin"
and give to three (3) friends.
I will be making my own contributions to get the MSR Party off the ground and flying.
MSR will not take money from FABRIKES like PP does, or like SNP does.
Sesel Pou Seselwa!!!!!

Dont talk about jj Sevirna they have all been brain wasch by PP.
ReplyDeleteReply to Mr. Servina-
ReplyDeleteRegarding the People of Belombre.
The good people of Bel ombre know what I went through and did not question what I did. They knew in their hearts that something went wrong in DP badly.
Today they are happy to know we have reconciled, allow water under the bridge to so flow and we can now move on.
If PLanning Authority did not take 2 years for my house plan I would have been building 2 yrs. ago.
You will see the Chang-him family on MSR, and they support my work, follow STAR.
Like many, we know he has sold his flock, and foresaken his people by taking care of himself first.
Father French told me: "Wavel should have refused the salary increase and not take it, like Bishop Tutu did in South Africa when offered a ministers salary for his role in Truth Reconcilation Commission" , instead, Wavel Ramkalawan asked for the increase in salary himself. You admit it in your blog.
I owe no one an apology.
Now Mr.Servina, why do you not ask Mr. Ramkalawan and SNP to apoligize for the 38% pay increase, and life pension gratuity they voted themselves in conspiracy with SPPF?
Why don't you ask SNP to apologize to the People of Bel Ombre for breaking the Allaince with DP?
Why don't you ask SNP to pay back the over 4,3Million rupees SNP MNA's will collect as a result of the Allaince which was then broken?
What makes you think today, we will enter in another Allaince with SNP, the party that breaks deals, voluntarily, without any threat of violence or intimidation in the guise of darkness?
Why do you not Apoligize for feeding yourselves, before you feed your flock?
Why do you not ask jean Francois Ferrari to aploigize for his role in the Coup of 1977?
Or
Ask Dr. Ferrari armed with revolver in waist, to aploligize for standing over the dying body of Son Chang Him, and allowing him to die on the day of the Coup after Dóffay shot him?
Careful with me Mr. Servina, you may end up driving around the island all week.
Christopher Gill
The entire SNP being beaten up by Gill all by himself?
ReplyDeleteWow!
Don't you people have any ideas?
JF London
Hi JP,
ReplyDeleteLong time have not heard from you.
Indeed, it looks really bad. I cannot believe SNP has lost it to that extent.
They have lost composure. No ideas, not direction.
I heard St. Ange is distancing himself from them aswell. Turing into a mad house Arpent Vert.
What went wrong guys?
Collect yourselves, reel it in.
Relax and do some yoga.
Then try to listen to Gill and Unite the Oppostion.
Never too late!
Hope
The People of Belombre have not forgiven you for what you did. Maybe 1 or 2 but not the majority. Those that have forgiven you you call them the good people. Will you call those that have not forgiven you bad? Once again when I ask you questions you throw accusations at other people. If I wanted to know what they did i would ask them. I am asking you about you. What have you done to regain the confidence of the people you abandoned when you crossed the floor. Throwing accusations at others is not going to regain that trust. Remember most of those people are SNP and are proud of the work of Nicholas. You say you have nothing aginst him and that he is a good guy, but then criticise him for taking a pay rise.

ReplyDeleteTIKLO to Jean Pierre Servina,
ReplyDeleteIt is very obvious to me that you do carry your own head on your shoulders in stark contrast to Christopher Gill the damaged goods.
What I find fancinating is Chris' absurd excuses that he crossed the floor in fear of his life from "State House Thugs" brandishing 9mm barrel to his belly; and secondly, when he was physically lifted with his chair and placed on the tarmac from the DP's first Convention Chris tries to bullsheet his way out of it by claiming the same that he was prevented from intering the convention and after his third attempt, he had a 9mm barrel placed in his belly by a certain Police Officer.
And Jean Pierre, there is absolutely nothing wrong with what Wavel has done in regards to the so called 38% pay rise that the Pollies voted for themselves because that is the way it is done everywhere else in the Western World Australia included.
Sadly, Chris Gill has no idea what he is babbling about for he has definitely lost the plot the poor chap. And another thing Jean Pierre, Wavel was 100% correct in kicking that other fou bette DP Elizabeth out. Elizabeth failed to tow the Opposition line in the same manner Chris Gill betrayed DP and humiliated Sir James when he crossed the floor. Chris Gill Rasin se pa ki leee key can go and suck an egg if you would excuse my political incorrectness. To bring the Feraries, D'offay and Son in his childish argument highlights the fact that Chris the Gill has not reconciliated and do let him tell you otherwise Jean Pierre.
Warm regards to both you and Chris and enjoy your afternoon and be careful when walking under coconut trees because as you are most aware Jean Pierre, only in Seychelles that coconut fall down by itself.
Ram our little priest had metamorphose himself into the person of JUDAS.He has colluded and chumped up with PP in the club of crooks.

Mr Gill . You twist my words. I said that the assembly voted to have a salary. I was referrng to the salary aproved in the third republic. 1st vote. i never refered to the increase. Reply to Get Real Bro!
ReplyDeleteFirst you SNP ask me if I have a problem with Prea, I say no.
Then you punch me on the salary thing,I no problem with Prea.
Then you bring up the salary again, I clarify the point and say the salaries for all MNS and LO and Minister and President is immoral and should be readjusted downwards.
Now you tell me to get real?
I am real.
38% increase is bad enough, when the people suffer, then a pension for life for MNA's? Never heard of that, unless you are buying them all off.
Can Bankrupted Seychelles afford that?
Answer, yes or no.
Do we need career MNA's?
Some of you came into the National Assembly with hair on your heads. Now you are leaving without hair on your heads.
What have you done for the People of Seychelles?
What have you done for yourselves?
What have you done to unite the Opposition , aside from a little blue material in your Convention stage?
People of Seychelles are not fools. This is why our registration is moving fast, I have to recruit new people to help us process membership and check out backgrounds of potential spies.
Relax, we will do the job you could not and never will.
But that does not mean you did not play an important role. You did when you did.
But you have not when you have not.
This is why MSR is coming into existence. Get use to it, lower the tempo since we need to go in the elections as a unified body.
Christopher Gill
Tiklo i would ask David to organize a guide tour for you to Valley de Mai,then you will see where they sit.
ReplyDeleteAs to Rasin movement it's heading into the future while PP is in the reverse gear heading to its grave.
Rasin movement is making Michel having sleepest nights and his disciples to your likes TIKOLOR live in fear of change.

Reply to Mr. Servina-
ReplyDeleteThe salary of First Republic I am not familiar with as I was only 6 years old.
Third Republic- first sitting, salary was voted. It was a little high, but no retirement for life.
At the time, an MNA fell under a DG salary. Now it is above a Principal Secretary salary with free 4x4 , plus life time retirement, which makes Opposition look impliedly bought off.
Even dipplomatic corps believe this. So I am not alone.
I have twisted nothing. You have twisted yourself, attempting to defending the undefendable.
I appreciate your contribution, it will represent at least 100 additional supporters to MSR.

David Johnstone-
ReplyDeleteI catagorically resent and refute your line of thinking that you have th enerve to sit in Switzerland all comfortable and safe, and challenge people to use their names.
Your arrogance is similar to the arrogance of your party SNP which demonstrates clearly, why they will never win a majority vote in Seychelles.
SNP is paid to use their name, and they do not. MNA's do not dare comment on STAR with name.
This is unacceptable.
A private person has every right to with hold his or her name, and may reveal his or ID at a time they feel comfortable to do it.
Politicians are tasked with carrying the slack in between. They are paid to.
But where is SNP? Hiding behind "Anonymous", when their gross salaries are more then enough to pay for 4 body guards each.
But instead, they buy 4x4 jeeps and trucks with the money, take out loans, based on their salaries, then do not want to leave the National Assembly because they have loans to re pay.
What kind of Opposition is that?

ReplyDeleteAt least Chrostopher had the inteliggence to see through the false 'Patrick X'. Had the idiot who had the lack of creativity to use my nick any intelligence he would have been able to write something credible using his own nick.

Dear Leonard,
ReplyDeleteThough apologies accepted, I have no time for such banner of matters, so think carefully to whom you are writing before jumping to conclusions. Since you have kindly offered to apologise for anything else that needs an apology perhaps you should apologise about this business of exaggerating my importance through my family. You dont know me so please in future dont point fingers for everyone finger you are pointing at me you have three pointing at yourself. Once again I hope that this is the end of it...Mon pas interested avec ou mouvement.....et pas premiere fois qui mon dire ou sa....Georgia
Correction: Banal of matters!
ReplyDeleteCorrection every one finger....
ReplyDeleteGeorgia Dunlop:
ReplyDeleteI apologized for mis-attributing the comment by Second Cousin to you. That means the contents of the comment should have been directed to the person I subsequently named and not to you. And I agree that I should be more careful about attributing comments made Anonymously.
Your comment made statements extraneous to the issue at hand, and yet, it says it must be the end of the matter. It cannot be until I respond to those matters you raised. You have already told me in private emails that you consider yourself to be British. So I understand that you are not interested in the issues raised by The Mouvman. I also understand you support Fabrike Jeyasingh's right to call himself Seychellois despite his refusal to directly deny allegations of money laundering Seselwa Rasin money while The Mouvman does not. And it is not my Mouvman; it is The Mouvman of thousands of Seselwa Rasin.
As far as I am concerned the matter is closed. Mais ou pas dormi? Y tard kot ou..Ale dormi demain lendi travaye pour ou non? Boire un peut yapana pou faire ou dormi bien autrement ou pour gagne kosmar. Si ou pas dans kosmar...LOL!!!!!

Now you are reaching false conclusions about where I am. So it appears you too should be more careful about the conclusions you reach.

ReplyDeleteIt appears the real Patrick X has stood up.
How low can you go SNP?
Just use the name Karya, when you are at lost of Identity.
Christopher Gill
Christopher
ReplyDeleteyes I used the name karya. I don't know anyone in Seychelles called kary. you have accused me of using other peoples name in Seychelles. I ask you again. Who? You even linked me to patrxk X . Sorry mate. I am not the fake patrick x and until you can tell me which persons name I have falsely used just As you falsely accused me of writing for Regar, I suggest you shut up.
David Johnstone
Reply to David Johnstone aka "Karya"-
ReplyDeleteSir, read the comment I made. I ask all 5000 viewers of STAR this week, read the comment I made concerning the post by the "fake Patrick x".
In the comment I posed a question, under reasonable suspicion to David Johnstone, whether he is the fake partick x or not.
A question, David, which could be answered by Yes or No.
The suggestion of "SHUT UP" on a blog I started, is out of place and unwarranted. Who told you to "Shut Up" Mr Johnstone, SNP Warrior?
Talk, talk all you want. Say all you want. We will not stop you.
Now, if I do not shut up like you tell me to, like JJ SPirit tells me to, like Rene tells me to, what are you going to do about Mr. Johnstone?
Kill Me?
Is that what SNP is like, really down under, when you remove the mask of protecting the fat cat salaires?
There is ample precendence, the Coup of 1977 involved members of the SNP and Executive Committee. Are you going to stick as ak 47 to my mouth?
Are you going to make me go to my knees and wiggle until I die like Son Chang Him did with Dr. Ferrari towering over him at his last moments of life on that day?
Peace be with you David, in Switzerland telling Seychellois Rasin to shut up who live in Seychelles.
Christopher Gill
Christopher. No I will not threaten to Kill you.It is not in my blood to kill. What I told you was to stop throwing false accusations at me. I clearly stated that no I am not Patrick X. Yet in a later post you still did imply indirectly that it was me. You have however accused me of using other peoples names. Please tell me who? You have accused me of writing for Regar. Which articles did i write. I am still waiting for an answer. Until you throw any more false accusations at me I suggest you do a bit more research and correct the false statements.
ReplyDeleteYou are free to write your blogs. My statement to shut up was reffered to the false accusations you have thrown at me.
David Johnstone
Mr. Johnstone,
ReplyDeleteYou know that I am not you. I know that I am not you.
But he does not know that I am not you.
He cannot collect all the information from my computer like he does for each and every person that visits this blog site and the other lavwa-seychelles blog site.
That one is even worse! The comment window is a virtual spy suitcase.
All this personal information will become the new "security clearance" of the Gill empire.
He is learning his dictator skills well.
Patrick X
Reply To David Johnstone-
ReplyDeleteThank you for reassuring me you will not kill me.
Now go back to the post you refer to and you will see the ? mark I posed. You only had to answer yes or no.
Secondly, You used the name of Karya, a pseudonym of a writer. That is someone. If you used Karya, and the name does not belong to you, then it is reasonable to question whether or not you used patrick x's pseudonynm.
If you have not you have not. You do not have to make a mountain out of mole hill.
We have a more serious agenda ahead. The first is to unite the Opposition if SNP is on board. If not, get out of the way, because we are coming, get use to it.
Adjust your lexicon, like SPPF and PP is trying to do.
Time to sleep is no more, we face as you muddle over your name Karya, loosing our country all of us,one and all Seselwa Rasin.
Christopher Gill
Mr. holy Christ
ReplyDeleteCome when you come, I believe it is your second coming is it not?
We are waiting
You ask many questions but answer few.
have you given back the corrupt 3000 pension from many years?
have you given back the amerikan passport?
have you given back the land to the Guam rasin?
have you given back the money to SPPF for crossing floor?
have you tell marc houareau stop making business with PP and arab and fabrike?
have you surrender yourself to Hague for not stopping Malo arms as MNA when you knew end user certificate is false?
the real RASIN is watching you
The real Patrick X
To Christ Gill,
ReplyDeleteMr. Johnstone only asked you to put up or shut up as a manner of speech.
And for you to come to the conclusion that he wants you to "shut up" means that you are pli kouyon ki Kouyon Mate. TIKLO
Karya is not only a pseudonym of a writer. Karya is a term well used in SNP to describe people who have raised the alarm on corrupt practices of the goverment. It has often been mentioned in our rallies "Nou bann Karya pe vey zot. Did I give SNP information of corruption in goverment. Yes. Remember the Australian Mafia that were behind the EDA and left Seychelles with thousands of rupees of unpaid bills.
ReplyDeleteI am not making a mountain out of a mole hill. Like you did not like being told to shut up, I do not like to be accused of using false names or being accused of something I have not done.
Mr Gill with regards to the question put to me wethere I was the fake Patrick X. I did reply to you with the following
No I am not the Mr Patrick X that wrote on this blog (May 16th @12.04)Was that not a simple no
But then your post on the 17th may implies again that i did use it as you told the fake Patrick X to continue using the name Karya. As I am the only one that has used it in this debate it was directed to me was it not?
David Johnstone
Reply to David Johnstone-
ReplyDeleteNow that we are over your Karya thing, I propose that we shift gears and see how we can unite the opposition with what we have to deal with.
MSR is open to cooperation with all parties, provided they adopt the "Sesel Pou Seselwa" rally call.
The offer remains open indefinately.
Our movement is also on the move progressively.Membership requests are now exceeding our ability to cope humanly with,by one administrer.
Peace to you David. Thank you for all your help.
Christopher Gill
Gill, two days ago you claimed 700 requests pending. Where are they?
ReplyDeleteHow long it takes to click the accept button?
Very bad customer service if you ask me.
Niya
David Johnstone, I knew you well when you were in Seychelles (you are a Manchester United fan no?).
ReplyDeleteChristopher Gill, I know you as well although I don't know which football team you support.
You two are starting to really sound like SNP and DP in a dog fight. So my suggestion is for you to stop hurling accusations at each other and start fighting for the same thing. That is, defeating SPPF at the next election.
Let us abandon our party hats for a minute and focus on the job at hand. Until this happens and we stop bickering about mundane issues like the meaning of Karya, we are not going to get anywhere.
In the end, we all want a new Government and this should be our primary goal. The past is gone and we only have tomorrow. So put your differences aside and let us blog ourselves to death if we have to and teach our fellow Seselwa the true meaning of freedom.
Christopher, it is time for you to also realize that political leaders must act "presidential". This is where Wavel has failed miserably. He is not a diplomat and never will be. David, I voted for Mr. Ramkalawan 4 times already, and have no problem voting for him again if he is the only candidate standing against Michel. I believe Wavel would make an OK president if he won. Anyone taking over from an SPPF era will do better and democracy will flourish. But I am also leaning towards voting for Boulle or even Christopher if they put in their candidacy. Both would make good presidents too as they believe in democracy and real freedom for Seychelles. It would be great if we could have a live television debate with 4 or 5 presidential candidates. We would find the winner quickly enough based on real ideas for Seychelles and not the fake stuff and lies that Michel and SBC have been feeding us these past years.
Until SPPF is removed, our poor country will never change. So let us all work together to turn this dream into reality.
A real patriotic Seychellois like both of you.
Dear Mr Patriot,
ReplyDeleteYes you know me. I was and still am a Man United fan. Will be for life. I have not hurled any accusations at Christopher. I clearly stated a fact that I did not agree with his principles and ideas. Everyone is entitled to an opinion.it is called democracy. He then decided to reply hurling accusations at the SNP, accusing me of using other peoples identity, writing articles for Regar, being a millionaire then on the flip side calls for the opposition to unite. Would you unite with someone who sends you an invite then punches you in the face.
David Johnstone
Tiklo you fucking idiot black parrot seat on any trees. When is the the last time did you see a black Parrot seating.
ReplyDeleteDavid, I follow this blog on a daily basis and have read everything Christopher and others have posted since inception.
ReplyDeleteSTAR is probably the most open blog on Seychelles politics and the good thing is that it does not censor the contents. Christopher and his "team" as he calls them has done a very good job over the months to open up discussion about the true political scene in Seychelles. And this is a ray of hope for Seychelles and at least word is getting out to all corners of the world about the reality in Seychelles. The more people we can get onboard the train so to speak, the better it will be for our country.
Like you, I do not like Christopher's approach sometimes when it comes to debating individuals. But while he is sometimes quick to come to conclusions, at his detriment may I say, he is open to discussion and is man enough to apologise when he is in the wrong. He does get too personal at times and this is his weakness. But at least he wears his heart on his sleeve and very few politicians in Seychelles can say the same. Wavel seems to be too afraid to challenge the status quo and has lost his leadership role which he had leading up to the last elections. Maybe he is too comfortable in his post as Leader of the Opposition or maybe SNP has run out of steam. Regardless, SNP has lost a lot of followers and I don't see any new leadership emerging out of the chaos.
Like I said before, in the end we are all fighting for the same thing and we must put our differences aside and not lose sight of our goals. Seychelles will NOT CHANGE under James Michel and the latter will continue to sell us out to Arabs or French or Irish or anyone else who puts money in the SPPF coffers. Our goal therefore is simple; to remove SPPF from power and regain control of our country. We can only do that with the support of ALL seychellois voters who believe in this goal. We may fight and argue along the way, we may blame SNP and Wavel for their inefficiencies or lack of leadership, we may blame DP, Mancham or Gill for crossing the floor, we may blame Boulle for not having a manisfesto, and we can continue fighting among ourselves. But we all have one vote and must use it wisely in 2011 to defeat SPPF. It is sad to hear that you are overseas and probably not in a position to vote, but my suggestion is for you to forward this blog address to all your friends so that honest debate continues and maybe a few SPPF die-hards can finally see the truth and cross the floor one day. We all dream for a bright new dawn in Seychelles and we are the only ones who can make it happen.
For SNP to work with MSR we need 300% TRUST that the creed and indoctrination approach will not be abused like a dictator.
ReplyDeleteThe Gills are fatally flawed in this respect.
MSR needs credible leaders who we can trust to be democratic to the core.
Wavel can be trust with a moderate version of the MSR creed.
We cannot help some new fanatics that we will have to resist all over again for another 50 years on the ground.
Well said Anonymous! Well said indeed. Every mess up, intentional or not, made by Chris Gill or any non PL in the past will now be used against them so that we(who critize the PL) can start fighting amongst eachother which os exactly what they PL wants.
ReplyDeleteOpposing parties fighting amongst themselves are just what is needed to divert the attention away from the PL's failed policies, 'sell baby sell' schemes and giveaways of our heritage to whoever will fill their coffers. People like Tikolor & Co are here not to discuss politics, but to divert the negative attention away from the PL. Simple as that.
It is therefore as you say, very important that we keep focus on our goal which is simple:
Voting PL out and voting progress in.
Patrick X
Amen to that
ReplyDeleteThe Real Patrick X
David doesn't have the nerves and intellectual capacity to debate with Rasin movement so he uses what PP taught him, tricks , thus uses others ID to hide from us.what a shame David!Where is your guts?
ReplyDeleteJeanne D'Arc
I reply to David and Anonymous-
ReplyDeleteYes we have to get our butts in gear to unite the Opposition to defeat PP. This is what I have been saying for 5 years.
Division in the ranks is the PP's pleasure.
Now SNP has taken a few hits from me, as I have taken some from them. We all have to be man enough to face up to it and move on with unity in mind.
MSR is still standing and I am still here. I don't intend on going anywhere.
As for the sleeve on my heart, well, I have nothing to hide, so I am comfortbale with that, and I do not operate with hidden agenda.
I say what has to be said and thats that. I hope others will do the same. Politics of decpetion is the Rene game taught to us. We must leave it in the one party state era. Or we all loose.
Reference to SNP adopting a watered down version of the MSR CREED.
I say this, there is no watered down version of "Sesel Pou Seselwa", either it is accepted by SNP or it is not. Either we protect Seychelles and her people or we do not.
Is there a watered down version of Ramadoss around? Or a watered down version of Sheik Khalifa, or the Eden Island invasion of 10,000 South Afrcian new citizens impending?
The watered down version of an opposition is why we are in the mess we are in after 17 years of opposing.
Straighten your backs and accept the CREED of MSR, SNP. I ask Boulle to aswell and NDP. We will then forge a united front under MSR banner.
SNP banner has no credibiltiy for a united front. It breaks deals with Boulle and DP. SNP has not faced up to it till today.
With that we will have a united Opposition to take out PP. As Ramgoolam showed, an Allaince can be a powerful tool.
United in the last election, SNP got 46% of vote. Divided they will struggle to keep the Opposition seats. They need to make whole-again the Opposition.
This is the ongoing responsibility of any leading opposition. It should not be my responsibility, one leading a new party in formation.
I am open to discussions 24 hours a day, every day as I have been for the last 5 years, with all parties. When SNP kicked Frank out of the national Assembly, I tried to negotiate a settlement. When JF Ferrari and Frank were going heads to heads, I tried to negotiate a settlement. You can close the door on someone so many times, before he sends you to kingdom come.
As you close doors, it is SNP that fails the People of Seychelles.
Keep your fingers crossed, Star is likely to hit 5000 views this week.
As for NIYA's request,it is in process, and it is not just a click thing. Relax, a little, settle down.
Christopher Gill
Ram and PP are both tarred with the same brush-They're both meal-mouthed politicians and have nothing news to propose to this nation. They should go!
ReplyDeleteJeanne D'Arc
I would like to congratulate Christopher on his performance here. He has done a superb job and has shown exactly what kind of leader he is.
ReplyDeleteThose who say they cannot trust the "Gill Brothers" should look at how we have handled ourselves in an open and uncensored debates. It shows our respect for the fundamental liberties of all Seselwa Rasin. The Butcher has never submitted himself to this kind of an open uncensored debate, neither has Michel the Collaborator or Ramkalawan.
On the other hand we have seen contributors supporting SNP and the PP Collaborators use trickery and deception in trying to infringe or chill other people's right to speak and debate freely. For instance the adoption of other people's pseudonyms to cause mistrust and confusion, or threats of lawsuits by Fabrike Jeyasingh.
So based on these facts to whom can you entrust your freedom?
Reply to Vox-
ReplyDeleteThe debates on SBC would be normal.
But SBC in conspiracy with SPPF and Now PP, have not permitted the airing of divergent views for 17 years, a violation of the Constitution of Seychelles.
Hence why STAR started and we have branched to Lavwa -Seychelles.
They cannot debate PP. They have no position to retain support. In the National Assembly I use to make Michel shake with just little questions.
Now with all the Arab money he has, we will need a little bigger question to shake him up.
Now SNP- the Lead party has not had a strategy to encourage Free SPeech and Debbate. They stifled it with the under handed strategy of trying to kill off DP.
DP is now NDP and has produced a paper Weekly, inspite of SNP trying to shut it down. I do not agree with everything Weekly says, but I defend their right to air their views in Public to the death.
MSR now is being created, because SNP is hell bent on control and destruction of a material important segment of the Opposition.
Time to understand, we are going to disappear is a dream.
Now, it is time to come to the table and open an Opposition Conference like I have been asking for for a long time to unite the Opposition.
In the mean time, MSR will prod along.
Christopher Gill
Jeane Dárc is 100% correct.
ReplyDeleteMinistry of Tourism is lost.
They approve Epelia over 330 rooms, thats 3 air plane flights to fill the rooms.
Then they forget that Seychelles will need additional flight to cope with increase demand.
No flights, no increase demands.
As Epheilia is full, Praslin, mos tof Mahe and all of La Digue is empty because there are no seats to Seychelles.
Air Seychelles sleeps, because it has enough passengers part of which are Port Louis bound on the UK leg.
Hats off Jeanne Dárc
Christopher Gill
Ramkalawan still gets these comments, and he is still silent.
ReplyDeleteNot bad for the Leader of Opposition.
It remains a moot of whether Ram would have the temerity to alter his sailing course and to stop pooh-poohing DP's proposal to join up forces. In fact this would be a perfect balm for him after a decade of scorn and derison.
ReplyDeleteJeanne D'Arc
Jeanne D'arc, You now also falsely accuse me of using other People names. Can you please tell me whos name I have used other than my own. Before you say Karya. Let me remind you that in Seychelles civil Status records there is not a single appearance of the name Karya. I have clearly explained to Christopher what SNP supporters refer to as Karya and he has accepted it.
ReplyDeleteChristopher a few points for you.
I agree Sesel pou Seselwa. What I do not agree with on the MSR creed on who you term to be a Seychellois and be allowed to call themselves Seychellois. Is an individual who has contributed in an honest way to the development of Seychelles and has obtained Citizenship in an open honest manner not allowed to become a Seychellois and call himself one. Christopher when you travel on your american Passport and fill in immigration forms do you not fill in nationality as American. or do you use the term Amerken Fabrike or neither.
Yes there are many individuals who paid a few thousand dollars for their Seychelles passports and have never contributed to the development of Seychelles. These should be revoked.
As far as I am aware the residents of Eden Island qualify for residency not citizenship. It is what is published on the Eden Island website. There are many people in Dubai who have purchased luxury appartments in the same manner. They have also been granted residency permits not not UAE citizenship. It however should not apply just to Eden island but also other foreigners who have purchased property.
Christopher unless you can prove me wrong i stand by my points on the Eden Island issue
if you agree in the Free press. You would read or listen to any publication that expresses an opinion. wether you like it or not. I do. I read People, People Plus, Your blog, LNSW nation have you listened to the latest issue of radio Freedom. It condenms many recent activities of PP THe links between equator institute and SPPF etc.and even has an interview with Basil Soundy a prominent member of SCCI explaining how corrupt the recent AGM was. There again you will consider Basil an Seselwa Fabrike according to your creed.
Is that not shedding light on the corrupt practices of Seychellois. It is also through a medium more powerful than a blog. Many more people in Seychelles have access to a CD player than a computer.
Jts as I was seeing a nicer side of you. My trust in you hits another low. I have seen on the MSR facebook page insults that byou have thrown to the natives of Guam. The same people that welcomed you with open arms when you and your family were forced in to exile.
The same country that enabled you to make a nice amount of money before you returned to Seychelles. If I remember right you did not return with tres peux des sous.
Is that what you are going to do to your people just because they do not agree with your principles
David Johnstone
Is that not shedding light on the corrupt practices of Seychellois. It is also through a medium more
ReplyDeletecorrection to the above statement Seychellois should have read SPPF.

David it seems you ,Tiklo and co share a common sentiment, namely that Rasin Movement is knocking the stuffing out of PP,and that gives you a cold sweat.
ReplyDeleteDavid MSR believes in freedom of speech continue to give utterance to your thoughts. My piece of advice though, next time ,engage your brain before putting your mouth into gear.

Jeanne D'arc. If you had read my posts You may have realised that I am also anti PP. Never have I voted for them and never I will.
ReplyDeleteI also beleive in freedom of speech. Tell me where i have said other wise.
So let me me give you a little advise. Before you throw any more false accusationa at me like above or accusing me of using false names let me suggest that you if you put your brain in to gear before you put your mouth in to motion.
David Johnstone
David, that you made public your objection to PP is a good sign of improvement on your part,it typifies how effective MSR has been ,in spreading the message of change to septics like.
ReplyDeleteJeanne D'Arc
Oh Dear Jeanne Darc,
ReplyDeleteYou are like a motor scooter that does not need putting in to gear before going in to motion.it just takes off wether you want it to or not.
